I came into this journey already having accomplished a lot on my own--I had overcome obesity and…read moreeven maintained a three-year running streak without missing a single day. But I knew I needed more. I wanted to lose additional fat, build lean muscle, and truly tone my body, but I didn't have the knowledge or structure to get there on my own. That's where Coach Josiah made all the difference. From the very beginning, he took the time to get to know me on a personal level before ever introducing his program. That stood out immediately. Our communication was consistent and meaningful, and that accountability was exactly what I needed. I was able to be open about injuries and limitations, and instead of letting those hold me back, he guided me through them with a plan that kept me progressing safely and effectively. Because of Josiah's coaching, I am now at the lowest weight I've been since I was a young teenager. More importantly, I feel stronger, more confident, and more informed about how to maintain and continue improving my fitness. If you're looking for someone who truly cares, communicates, and knows what they're doing, I can confidently say he is someone you can trust. I'm excited to keep building on this progress and am grateful to have had him guide me the way.

He's empathic and flexible with my personalized program, addressing health concerns and adjusting for my travels. I've learned to eat better and have grown comfortable heading to the gym.

So for cool points and theatrics, Rumble gets all the stars. However, as an actual gym that pays attention to new comers and individuals this is where I removed a star. This was my first time coming in for a workout and I truly had no idea what to expect, which is fine by me, I like being surprised, however some people may not have liked the experience as a newbie. My friend told me to come meet her, and gave me the heads up to buy hand wraps online to save money. So I did that. When I arrived I checked in. I was told first class I could rent boxing gloves for free. After that it's $5 rental. I asked "how does this work" about the class and workout. I was given a brief explanation and then I requested help with wrapping my new hand wraps. That went fine. Then the teacher called everyone into the back gym area. No greeting or checking in with me that I'm new. We just went to work. Now for me, this was all fine. I workout a lot and I do other group classes elsewhere and have a personal trainer, so I'm very aware how to workout without hurting myself and I pick stuff up pretty easily because I have a foundational base of safely lifting weights and body mechanics. But for someone new to fitness this class would have been a lot to grasp and not injure oneself by doing too much or using poor technique. (Since I was given no instruction). Long story short, Rumble is a cool boxing gym but maybe could use some encouragement to check in with new folks for any questions and give a high level overview, with a brief tutorial on how to safely do the moves (aka punches). I'll definitely go back, as I said it's a good and hard workout. I attended via ClassPass as I do most things, maybe that is why the experience was different? But either way, I've been to other places where they (meaning front desk staff and teachers) are more accommodating to a new person in their gym.

You aren't just a number or $ to them. They care about what you are striving for and help you in any way possible to get there. It's about your lifestyle not just from a fitness perspective but you as a whole. They talk about nutrition, sleep habits, work habits, etc. I have finally found a place I can stick with. There is so much encouragement even when I feel like quitting. If you are looking for a place to help you with those stubborn habits that prevent you from living a healthy balanced life this is it!! You will never regret making those changes no matter how hard it is to get started. Do it today!!

Before going, I called and spoke with Darian (might not be whole it's spelled) and he answered all my questions and made me feel at ease to try it out. I love that you get to try it out before paying and today was the end of my week of free training and I asked to sign up. The classes are great and I feel comfortable even tho I am not up to the same speed as every one in the class. . The gym had the kindest ppl I have EVER met in a gym and even though I go to an easy class I still feel pumped and excited to get in there. I'm excited to see how my fitness goals go! Definitely recommend trying it out, because I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised!!

I moved to Arizona 11 months ago, leaving my trainer behind in Oregon. I was worried about finding…read morethe right fit again but the universe was listening. Two weeks after moving I was having dinner with friends and given Nadine's name and number. That is when my relationship with The Fitness Joint began. 10 months later I'm thrilled to say it was the best choice I could have made. I have lost inches, gained confidence, lost body fat percentage, and gained strength. She makes training fun, brutal, but fun. She has a way of encouraging you but also listening to your needs. She talks you through the moves to decide if it's the best one for you. She is always changing things up so boredom isn't an issue. I can not recommend The Fitness Joint enough. And did I mention the new gym space?!? You'll love it! Great environment, great trainer, and great results!

I was always feeling tired, bloated, and weak. For almost 2 months without a job I tried working out on my own. Going on walks with my dog, doing 24 minute HIIT's here and there in my own home, but I wasn't feeling any stronger and wasn't seeing the changes I wanted to see. One day my mom came home from seeing a personal trainer. She told me I would love her and should give it a shot. I had never worked with a personal trainer before. I have been on countless sport teams up until college. I had done workouts with friends. Did a program called BBG my sophomore year of college, but never thought of going to a personal trainer. The first day I went to see Nadine, changed my life for the better. Don't get me wrong, the first day was hell. I could easily see me working out on my own hadn't done much at all after one workout with Nadine. But, I knew I found someone who would push me. So, I kept showing up. I have been seeing Nadine constantly 2-3 times a week for 7 months. I know weight matters to some, so I will share that I have dropped down to 145lbs. I HUGE factor in that is nutrition. Which I am 90% vegan. HOWEVER. I have never felt SO strong. The weight doesn't matter to me. The physical appearance doesn't matter to me. What does matter to me is the feeling of being STRONG. 7 months of hard work. 7 months of her pushing me to places I didn't know I could be pushed, and showing me I'm hella of a lot stronger than I ever thought I was. Nadine wants the best for her clients. If you let her work with you, push you outside your comfort zone, and let her show you how strong you can be, I promise you will not regret seeing this amazing trainer.
