Oh hi, perfect vegan YEAST donuts within a 15 drive from my apartment? Dangerous. The cold brew caramel glaze, the Boston cream, and the chocolate glazed were all standouts. I'm hoping for a non-pudding cream-filled, and a jelly-filled, and keeping my eyes peeled for those options.

Apple fritter, Boston cream, cheesecake brownie, cinnamon sugar donut, coffee cake, all VEGAN!

Absolutely delicious!! Service was great with a very wide selection of donuts and other baked goods. Fall flavors are available and the coffee is out of sight!! The store had a steady flow of local customers from when I went in to order, showing that it is a crowd favorite for all! I love that this vegan shop does not have to market themselves as fully vegan, and everybody loves it no matter what!

This is a pretty solid vegan donut place. It's nothing extraordinary, but I enjoyed my donut. I got the chocolate cake donut and it was pretty good. It did leave a film on the roof of my mouth that I didn't like, but the flavors were good. The place itself is quite cute and clean. It's small, so you definitely need to grab and go, but that worked out okay for me. The staff member was also friendly and quick. I would recommend this place if you're in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Great for any donut-lover, you would never know these were vegan if put in a lineup. Love the variety of flavors and textures! The tahini filling in particular was perfect. I'll be coming back for sure. The price is a bit high considering the donuts are light and not too big. The service on the other hand, was fast and friendly. They even threw in an extra donut since they were closing soon!

We got there right at the 8am opening time to get a treat for a vegan birthday girl (my sister). I think it was cool that they make a Boston cream, for vegans to get a chance to try that- that's the one she had right away. All the donuts are vegan. It's nice that they give vegans such a big selection, including some flavors that are pretty unique. I tried the Thai tea and the kiwi filled with strawberry jam. The inside is soft and just the texture I like in a yeast donut. The person who helped us said that the blueberry cake donuts were the best he had ever had- my brother said that donut was good but not the best cake donut he has had. I personally prefer yeast donuts- and they have a big selection of them, which is awesome. The one critique I would have is that the frosting is very sweet, which might be overpowering the other flavors. I wasn't able of really distinguishing the Thai tea flavor, which someone else also noted. I definitely recommend the jelly filled! They do something cool where instead of just having a blob of jelly in the middle, which is standard, they fill the entire bottom layer with jelly. It wasn't an artificial overly sweet goop, which some places do, it tasted like a freshly made strawberry jam, and was not too sweet. My family members who tried the apple fritters thought they were great- with chunks of apples that melted in your mouth. They said maybe it didn't need the glaze- the natural sweetness of the apple was enough. They also liked the contrast of textures. The donuts come in pizza boxes. Overall nice experience here!

Service is always great and Q makes the best lattes and cappuccinos. The donuts are always fresh too.

I have only tried their Thai iced tea, which was not up to par. Very friendly service overall, and they accept credit cards.

A Must-Visit Philly Gem!…read more Reading Terminal Market is an absolute gem! We visited on a busy Sunday, but the high energy made it even more fun. Our food highlights: Molly Malloy's: Great spot to sit down, relax, and grab a bite. Hershel's East Side Deli: Do not skip this! Watching them hand-carve the hot, tender meat right in front of you is amazing, and the sandwich was massive and delicious. Termini Bros Bakery: The ultimate sweet finish. They pipe the cream into the cannoli shell right when you order, keeping it amazingly fresh and crisp. Tips: Come Hungry: Pace yourself because you will want to try everything. Parking Hack: Make sure to validate your parking ticket at the market to knock off about $25!

Here are some if the places I tried: Beiler's Bakery - The cookies were made fresh there and I enjoyed a slice of their red velvet cake. By George Pizza, Pasta & Cheesesteaks - Decent cheesesteaks here, but the bread was a little tough for my liking. I probably wouldn't return here as I had better cheesesteaks elsewhere. Famous 4th Street Cookie Company - This was my favorite bakery I tried. The cookies were a good size, tasty, and the service was great! Termini Brothers Bakery - Tried the pig ear as it was described as puffed pastry with cinnamon and sugar. I wouldn't recommend this at all since it was hard and crumbled easily.

About every time I go to Federal Donuts, I have a five star experience so this place has always…read moreimpressed me with its consistency and commitment to customer service. Recently, I found my chicken sandwich to be on the smaller side, looking almost like they accidentally used a tender instead of the usual breast (or half breast?). Today, I ordered an Early Bird breakfast sandwich (which did have a tender in it) and Hot Cocoa donut and they were really good. The smell of the sandwich permeates the air like a hot breakfast fresh off the grill. After I finished mine, I could smell the aroma of the sandwich on a freshly ordered one two seats away from me. The look and smell of the donuts makes me want not one but three, but I know that if I did that, I'd be fat as a house. The attention to detail on the little things really count and do get noticed. Take a look at the caps on the cups. Other restaurants can learn from this. Whatever caps they use on their fountain drinks... it's a phenomenal cap that won't pop off even when you squeeze the cup real hard. The branding on their cups, bags, and all around the store are sensational. Solomonov's team has done a great job on the logo. Now, I will say that there are some people who prefer the other type of donut - the fried dough donut - versus Federal Donut's cake donut. I sometimes flip back and forth between the two, but you can't dislike cake donuts. Each "Fancy" or "Classic" donut is like a little Bundt cake or cupcake. If you don't like cupcakes or Bundt cakes, you have no soul. Believe it or not, you can order a salad from Federal Donuts. There are two offered, but the stars of the show are the chicken sandwiches and the donuts. Go get them today!

This spot was one of the only places open early on a weekend, so thank you for that!…read more My family and I enjoyed scoping out the unique and classic donut options. I have a guava donut, which I've never seen before, and it was hit the spot. My family enjoyed their more chocolate-forward donuts. The Vietnamese iced coffee is wonderfully caffeinated and helped us get through the day!
