The store is so organized and clean, making it easy to take your time browsing through the racks. The staff are attentive and friendly, never allowing items to pile up in your arms. They swing right by and get things organized in your dressing room while you shop. The store may have been picked over by the time I visited, I did find that many of the sizes available were small. Not ideal for ladies who are larger sizes. Overall, a very cute spot that I will be sure to stop at from time to time to see what's new! read more

I've always heard of Dottie's but haven't been in the store to check out this boutique and boy have I wished I had sooner! When I think of boutique's, I think that their clothes run small so a large isn't a large but more of a medium. Well I wear a large, size 14 so I didn't think they had anything that fit this petite and curvy lady! I decided to check them out and try on a few items. I find that this store has sizing that runs very small, especially for bottoms. I am normally a 6-8 or medium per their sizing guides. I recently purchased a medium online and it wouldn't even go past my thighs! I purchased a large to exchange and it is tight! They have cute clothing here, and it's original, so you won't see yourself coming and going all day long. That's the only good thing I have to say. The sales people are so young, and they have no customer service skills. This clothing isn't inexpensive, so I don't appreciate hearing baby talk while I'm trying to shop. Their return policy is HORRIBLE. I purchased fragrance at this location and they put the wrong one in my bag. I went back in the next day to exchange it and was told it was a final sale. The perfume was still in the packaging and had not been opened. I just wanted to even exchange it for the same brand--different fragrance. I was told I couldn't. I went across the street to another store that carried it and explained that it hadn't been purchased there but I just wanted an even exchange and they happily helped me. This store's exchange policy, customer service and horrible staff cancels out any of the benefits of the clothing is carries. I won't be back. read more

My shoes were made in China and fuming with chemicals. I bought a summer dress that was LITERALLY SHEER. No way to wear without showing everything. The sweater I bought as a large fit like a small. I'm short and not overweight what so ever. The clothes are terrible quality and all bought from China and Vietnam for very cheap and they throw a huge price tag on it- like most boutiques. I love this store for its style and price point. So many boutiques are way over priced for the quality and this one is not. They usually have a run of sizes in most items and each piece is unique in its own way. The only reason they don't get 5 stars from me is simply because of their return policy. It's only 20 days and even then, it has to be in store credit or exchange. Makes it difficult to purchase anything that you aren't sure if it goes with other items in your closet. I've been in both the Keystone and Fishers stores. Very unfriendly sales girls at both locations, which is sad because if they had the right people in there they could really make some money on their overpriced yet cute clothing. The quality of their clothing is the worst part. I've bought several tops from Dottie and had many issues with hems coming out and seams coming apart. Nothing more disappointing than spending over $40 on a shirt, wearing it once and having it fall apart on you, after its not returnable. You will find cheaply made clothes at high prices at Dottie Couture. What has led me to this conclusion? 1. Most clothes fit like a potato sack. Blousy sleeves? Check. Cinched elastic waist making the top and bottom poof out a bit too much? Check. I tried on a tunic today that was literally shaped like a triangle... price was $45 I believe. 2. Fabric is the kind you will find from Target clothes. Guaranteed if you dry these garments they will be the size of your third grade niece's socks. The only thing even slightly couture about Dottie Couture is that they sell Ambre products. So the clothes are kind of lame-o, but what about that couture service?! I'll give you a run down of my interaction with the two blonde, Kate Spade handbag toting sales girls I encountered today. (No literally, one of them had a cream colored Kate Spade purse... she was digging through it at one point.) *Around noon, walks in door. Spade girls don't even look up from their cellphones. No joke. *Look around entire store for something to exchange for a gift a friend got me that didn't fit. Didn't even get courtesty 'can I help you find anything?' blurb. *Manage to find a few tops I think are pretty cute. Carries around store looking for anything I missed. (cue birds chirping from the Spade's. Too busy on their phones) *Enter dressing room to discover a tunic is really a triangular shirt made for the shape of absolutely no adult woman's body. The cute maroon t-shirt dress I picked up has these hideous side slits that render it useless as a dress, even with sweater tights. The third shirt, although a little big would look ok under one of my comfy oversized cardigan sweaters. Plus it is in Autumn colors and would only cost me an additional $12 on top of my return amount.... so that's about $38 for the Target quality shirt. *Leaves dressing room feeling suprisingly victorious. *Goes to checkout. One of the Spade's realizes I am a person in the store and swiftly processes my return and rings up my new item. Very swift. Like, 'get out of my store. you are interrupting my watching the newest Anna Kentrick Kate Spade video, swift'. I agree with some of the other reviewers that have dubbed the staff as 'Ice Queens'. Yeeesh!!!! And I have to give them a little credit. They always have some cute scarves. I bought two plaid ones last year at a fundraiser held there for the Make a Wish Foundation. Today there were a few I also liked, but this girl is one a scarf diet. Overall, I just don't see myself ever shopping here again unless I must exchange another gift. read more

My name is Brooke and I am a Dottie-holic. I admit, I get a little giddy waiting for their new arrivals to post on Instagram and Facebook. I am always on guard wondering when their next contest for a free gift card will be. Plus, I am always eager to receive their newsletter containing valuable information like $10 off or a free scarf with purchase. They also have a punch card. Every $50 you spend you get a punch. Once you have ten punches you get a $20 gift card. What can I say I am a sucker for a bargain. Did I mention they get new shipments in every day? Brands come from New York, LA, and Chicago. You will never come to the store and see the same merchandise twice. Styles are often limited. This is always a challenge as items sell quick (within a few hours kinda quick). I am still thinking about a $39 dress I missed out on. It sold out in 4 hours...sigh. The good news is my wallet thanked me. I too must admit I was relieved that I didn't have to sell plasma that week to keep up my Dottie fix. There are 2 Indiana locations and rumor has it a 3rd location is coming to downtown Fishers (mercy help me as that's practically my backyard). Everything in the store is adorable and swoon worthy including the shabby chic decor. Most items are typically $50 or less. Just talking about Dottie is making me sweat for the next big flash sale! The only reason why I docked Dottie 1 star is their return policy. I learned this the hard way. Items can't be returned for a refund, you can only receive in-store credit. Their fitting rooms are a little dark. They could definitely stand a touch of bright light. I have come home thinking something was going to work and then changed my mind. They will not bend on this policy. Just wanted to give the heads up. It's one of the only retail clothing stores I know where you can't return in a set amount of days and expect money back. There are several boutique clothing stores out there now but one thing I love about Dottie is that there items are consistently cute and in fashion (I always find something I want) but their prices are reasonable and they have sales ALL the time. Also they have free shipping online! Additionally , they give an option every now and then to purchase one of their reusable bags. If you purchase one then every time you shop in store, you automatically get 10% off your purchase . Dottie is an accessibly priced local boutique. It's so nice to have a local place to get cute, trendy clothes. They have cute jewelry, shoes and some accessories, too. I had never noticed this location, in an office-like building in the busy keystone at the crossing area. I visited recently to get Christmas gifts. They had a 15% off sale that day, too! It was a nice surprise. They have an online shop, if that's more your thing. Parking is really easy in this location. There's a big shared lot for the building. I think this location has less stock than the Fishers one, but I can't say for sure. read more

I have shopped at Dottie for about a year and a half now. Loved their stuff in the beginning, but now they're raising their prices when their clothes don't even last that long? I find it ridiculous.
