This place is located behind the square mall so it is more of a downtown feel. The biggest drawback with this place is that they don't have a separate parking spot so customers will have to pay for their parking. We ordered for a couple of Dosa's, Medhu Vada and chicken lollipop. The taste of all the items except the Medhu Vada was very good and felt fresh. The Medhu Vada however was not cooked well on the inside even though the outside looked cooked. We didn't want to ask them to fry it a little more so I guess our friends can let them know to fry the Vada well when ordering. The Dosa's came with three chutneys(Dip) and Sambhar. They all tasted great and was served at the right temperature. The staff had good knowledge of their dishes and helped us pick from their list. The price was a little on the ok to higher side. To summarise , this is a nice place to try. If you are a South Indian Dosa person please do try this place. Totally worth it !!

Asked for soft dosa and ended up having super crispy one. My 81 yr old mom had to struggle to eat it. After eating half of it.

I absolutely love this place. Normally, a place that has a massive menu is a bit concerning to me…read moreas it often leads to not really excelling at anything, but that is not the case here in my experience. The reason behind the large menu is related to the aim of the restaurant, which is to showcase the various regional cuisines of India. As a result, don't expect the straightforward menu of: apps, entrees, deserts, etc... rather the menu is divided by cuisine. Aside from honouring tradition, they do offer a couple 'new' takes on some items. If you comb through a few reviews, and certainly the pics, you'll notice a must-order items is the roasted eggplant with pomegranate. It really is like nothing else I've had before and unforgettable in both taste and texture. My group also went with a famous lamb dish as well. I don't remember the name offhand, but it is incredibly soft, well seasoned and nicely spiced dish. We also went with orders of naan, veggie dishes and meat skewers. It's beautifully decorated inside and also has the advantage of being located in a heritage building in what was formerly an estate home nearly 150 years old. It's truly a unique place and one people living in the area can be proud and of showcase to visitors.

I would like to thank Sheily who was so friendly and acted professionally when we did not like the cardamom chai as it has milk and did meet our expectations . She changed the chai with Earl Gray which was really tasty. The ambiance was nice and comfort. The chairs were comfortable and the employees were friendly.

Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We enjoyed every bite. If you're not used to spicy food, choose "mild" for heat level as it still has a bit of a kick to it. The grill platter was really really good and good value. Pani puri shots were delicious however, apparently the soy dish in the appetizers is phenomenal which I will try next time and was recommended by a friend, the butter chicken is also really good. I haven't tried it, but a friend has mentioned that it is very good. Service was good. They brought what we needed once we got their attention but to get the waiter's attention was difficult because we were in the corner at the back and they were extremely busy.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone for the evening. For appetizers, we ordered the chicken and paneer, and both turned out to be really good. For our mains, we went with Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Maharani, Malai Kofta, and Chicken Biryani. Most of the dishes were delicious--Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Dal Maharani were especially impressive. The Malai Kofta was on the sweeter side, but still enjoyable depending on your taste. The only real disappointment was the Chicken Biryani. It had an overpowering amount of rose water, and the rice tasted stale with a strange aftertaste, which really took away from the dish. Additionally, while the restaurant is understandably a bit pricey for a special occasion, the naan prices felt excessive. Overall, we had a great experience--the ambience was beautiful, the service was warm, and most of the food was excellent. I would have given four or even five stars, but due to the Biryani and the naan pricing, I'm leaving it at three stars. Maybe next time!!!
