Great happy hour deals. I got the Basil Limeade drink which was similar to a mojito and was really tasty! The tinga chips were good but a little cold, might have been the cheese sauce. The quesadilla was really good. Nothing had ton of flavor like I expected but enjoyable meal for the price. Parking is a bit difficult you have to drive around for a street spot. The restaurant is very cute inside. Service was good as well very quick.

Such a delish spot! Very elevated vibe and a patio to die for. Tacos are fresh, fab and experimental & The marg flight is a great way to try a lil bit of everything. Service was super kind and gave great recs. Our server was incredible at accommodating the kids in our group. Will def be back!!

The food and hour marg overall is good, especially for the happy hour price. Service is decent with outdoor seating and dark ambient lighting inside. They do have a small menu and parking is difficult to find. 7.5/10

Love this place! Such a cozy intimate vibe even though there is plenty of space. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. I typically am able to park out front. But there is side street parking as well. This is a great happy hour spot. The chicken tinga chips and an order of plantains is plenty to fill me up. Plus the drinks are delicious. I was craving soup and ordered pozole the last time I went and it didn't disappoint. Most of the servers and staff are amazing. There is one that always has an attitude though. Great place for groups. It's typically not overwhelmingly packed when I go.

Verdict: solid brunch, really good drinks, chill atmosphere. Gonna add them to our brunch rotation for sure. We showed up before noon on a Sat and it was kinda dead, but we don't know why. We were immediately seated outside and the weather was gorgeous. The bloody Mary was damn near perfect, tangy and spicy. Both of us followed that up with the chilaquiles (which if you read any of my old reviews, you'll know I'm a connoisseur of), and they were truly solid: crispy chips, spicy (but not too hot) sauce, perfectly fried egg, and flavorful chicken tinga. I'm a bigger fan of chorizo chilaquiles, but these were still bomb. Service was friendly throughout. A little pricey at the end of the day, but really just Nashville average at this point.

First things first I love the location and ambiance of this restaurant. As far as food and beverages it kind of fell flat for me. I had three street tacos the chicken, steak, and fish. The chicken 10/10, steak 5/10 it needs some seasoning. I felt this was the one had to use more sauce with. Fish 7/10 it was crispy and soggy at the same time. The flavor profile on this one wasn't lacking I just wish the fish was crispy throughout. I would recommend getting the dipping sauces the red and green sauce 10/10 the brown sauce was not my favorite 3/10 in my opinion it tasted like liquid smoke. I also had aqua Fresca very refreshing not sweet at all but refreshing. I mixed Hibiscus and another flavor together solid 8/10. Some of the ladies I was dining with mentioned that the cocktails were phenomenal. Service was okay on this day. I just wish we had a little more rounding after the meal was brought out just to ensure everything was okay. They do offer validation if you park in the garage. Overall I would return especially for the cocktails and ambiance.

I've visited twice and unfortunately had the same experience both times. The food is overpriced for what you get, with very small portions that didn't feel satisfying. On top of that, the wait times were much longer than expected. Overall, it didn't feel worth it, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Great place to hangout with some friends and get some tacos and margs to a date night. Very cool and modern vibe with low lighting. Went here with some friends and ordered the marg flight, birria tacos, cauliflower tacos and some queso (wasn't on the menu but they made it happen!). Food overall was very good. The queso wasn't quite as smooth as I anticipated; but to be fair, the staff did say that it isn't on the menu yet and that they're perfecting the recipe. I think my favorite marg was the orange, I'd definitely order that again (honestly they were all great though). Staff was friendly but could've given better service. Not bad, just low attentiveness and didn't thank us/say goodbye when we left. Not a deal breaker but worth a mention. Definitely will be stopping back again!

I had an ok visit to Dos Santos on Thursday night, but it had some hiccups. I came in with a group of ladies for dinner and we were seated quickly. It felt like a trendy, Tulum restaurant with loud music and cool decor. Unfortunately they have a mix of real chairs with a back and these very heavy wooden stumps with no back that were difficult to move. I'll let you guess which ones we got. I love that they offer a combo guak and skinny margarita pitcher special for $67, so we opted for that. We also added on the green and red salsas (these are not complimentary nor are their hot sauces) with chips which came out quickly. The skinny margarita "pitcher" was actually a carafe and took a significant amount of time to arrive for the restaurant not being very busy. We all ordered some tacos, the tuna sashimi, shrimp coctel, and chopped salad. The tacos were good, but if you are hungry will need probably 3 of them. The group favorite was the governors shrimp and the taco of the month- the mahi. The chicken tinga was good and had a lot of meat but nothing mind-blowing. I enjoyed the salad for something light. The real star of the meal was the tuna sashimi. It was so flavorful and delicious with fresh jalapeños and fantastic fish. It was the best part of the meal. I did not like the shrimp coctel at all and it reminded me of a fishy Bloody Mary. The service was just OK, and it took an even longer time for the second carafe of margaritas to come out. Like it was 30 minutes long for it to get to us. The server apologized for the delay when we asked where it was, but didn't offer any discount to our bill which is a huge pet peeve when there is a significant delay or miss. Oh well. Dos Santos seems like more of a happy hour place for me in the future.

Stumbled across the restaurant walking to another establishment. Doubled back, curious to see what it looked like on the inside. It was lovely. Very dimly lit and romantic. I opted to get a flight for a little variety. The flight was smaller than expected but the drinks were good. They have a daily Happy Hour 3-6 and it's all day on Mondays. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

This is such a nice spot! Romantic lighting and a wide selection of great tequilas! Their happy hour is ON POINT- the poke bites were stellar, will def have to go back for the poke nachos! Wyatt behind the bar is awesome and makes a great marg! Who doesnt love a happy hour with drinks AND food?! The tinga nachos were SO GOOD! I ate them before i could take a pic! Lol def go and visit dos santos- im excited for the patio when it gets warmer, but lovely touch in the mexican blankets sitting out in case someone wants to enjoy the patio now! Will def be back!

Obsessed with this place! I have been here FOUR separate occasions within the last month! The ambiance is chill, day time indoor seating is very dark and dim, night time it feels modern bojo, the LA vibe. (the transplants!) Things to note: 1. THE LATE NIGHT MENU available ONLY ON Friday & Saturday - does not include non meat friendly options other than a cheese quesadilla and chips and Guacamole/Salsa. **Note, their daytime menu includes lots of pescatarian, and Vegetarian Options** 2. MONDAY ALL DAY Happy Hour menu states $7 for House Margs. - Per Menu provided (see pictures) it's not clear that the special is only for REGULAR MARGS and not the flavors. Ex. Spicy Passion Fruit and Hibiscus and other flavors are regular price at $15 dollars each. The staff has gone above and beyond to remedy the confusion and accommodate dietary needs when necessary. I still would recommend this place to anyone, but like any new restaurant, there are still some kinks to work out. Regardless, a definite recommendation (I have been here 4 times in the month)!

The ESKITES from the menu (they "ran out of corn cobs")

I will start by saying, the 2 stars came from the quality of the margaritas only. We arrived at 6:45 PM for a 7:00 reservation and immediately walked into chaos. The hosts were visibly stressed and unfriendly, and despite having a reservation we were not seated until 7:10. Water did not arrive until 7:20, and our first margaritas came out at 7:35 -- almost an hour after we arrived. The margaritas were fantastic. Unfortunately, that was the only thing this restaurant got right. Our first appetizer took over 20 minutes to arrive. The second round of margaritas took another 30+ minutes, and at no point did our server acknowledge delays, apologize, or communicate anything to the table. Had someone simply managed expectations, we would have been far more understanding. Then our next appetizer arrived with no silverware on the table. We had to physically get out of our booth and track down a food runner ourselves. After searching around for several minutes, he handed us a random stack of utensils while acting irritated that we asked. The second margaritas eventually arrived in plastic cups and plastic bags because the restaurant had run out of glassware. Fine -- it was Cinco de Mayo. But the entire night felt completely unmanaged. We repeatedly flagged down food runners and other servers for basic requests, only for each of them to never return. My sister's fish taco then came out wrong twice. After the second mistake, the correct taco did not arrive until over 30 minutes later -- at the exact same time as dessert. No apology. No acknowledgment. Nothing. Just fish & chocolate to cap off our evening (YUM!) Finally, the checks arrived wrong. We were charged for "party punch" margaritas we never ordered simply because the restaurant served our house margaritas in plastic bags after running out of glasses. When we questioned it, our server rolled her eyes, acted annoyed, and disappeared for another 15 minutes while we waited for corrected checks. After THREE HOURS, we left having had two tacos, two margaritas, and one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. To be open for almost 2 years and still fail this bad operationally is extremely disappointing. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.
