The lady that answers the phone and takes your order is super rude and should NOT be allowed to talk to anyone.

Man. Oh man. Boy did we come on off day or what ?!?! First…read morethe address listed is not the actual address the restaurant is located at. It's moved into a shopping center close to the Arena. When we got there - there was a large table about 12-16 that looked like they'd been there awhile since their they all had drinks and orders where not taken while we were there. There was also another large table (10-12) that had left since it was evidenced by all the dirty plates and cups left behind. I hoped that it wasn't an omen for our experience to come. We sat at an available table that had extra glasses and unexplainable crumbs which were picked up. We waited for the rest of our party (2) for about 15 minutes and I noticed a couple of other tables filling up. I also noticed that there were no plates being delivered to the large table. Hmmmm. Red flag. We got our coffees while we waited. We then ordered- chilaquiles, 2 tacos, 2 huevos rancheros plates. While we wait for over an hour, I finally start seeing one and two plates being delivered to that large table. I thought - man we are in trouble. During this time at least one table walked out. And still people were coming and all waiting. And waiting and waiting. By the time we got our food it was close to an hour and a half, the chilaquiles were lukewarm at best and the tacos were served in reheated tortillas. I know those- it's when the flour tortilla ends up getting on the crispy side. Sent the chilaquiles back and did not reorder. How can you serve it to a customer when the cheese has been melted and they waited too long that the cheese cooled and congealed. We were patient but damnnnnnnn an hour and a half for a Mexican breakfast. Yikes! Maybe they didn't expect the large parties or maybe one of the cooks called in. But daaaaaanggg... waiting for almost an hour and a half for food.... not sure what to say about that.... please someone let me know if their turnaround times from order to delivery improves.

Food is high quality. The service coming from the staff is exceptional. I would highly recommend…read morehaving lunch or dinner.

Highly recommend this establishment ! Very pleased with the service, food and ambiance !…read more The servers were very nice and helpful and quick to check on our table ! The food was fast and delicious ! My baby boy loved the pesto pasta and salmon as we shared it. My mom also ate all of her food as well and said how good it was. Will def be going again sometime in the near future !

This is a classy restaurant in the north part of town, but it is also located near my client's…read moresite. It made for an easy choice when it came to a lunch option. The prices here are reasonable compared to Houston or Dallas, for example, but most everything is a la carte, so you can spend a lot quickly if not careful. My eyes were set on the seabass ceviche, so I know I had to have that. I also wanted a cocktail, but I remembered I had a long drive ahead of me, so I just opted for more food instead. I ordered the corn flake fried chicken sandwich. Ceviche - a nicely sized portion that comes with 2 crispy tortillas. Inside the ceviche are finely diced carrots, red onions and cucumbers, cilantro, sliced avocado, and numerous pieces of diced fish and lime juice at the bottom. 5/5 Chicken sandwich - served on a plate with 2 sliced yellow cherry tomatoes sitting face down. This has a large breast, with pickles and cole slaw. 3/5 This is my kinda place, and it seems fairly unusual to find a restaurant like this in Laredo of all places. I would definitely come back on my next visit to Laredo.

The soup I ordered was decent, the butter was par and the others plates looked unappetizing. They were not happy with the food at all. I would have hoped to have a better experience. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience.

Golden Corral or Mexican? I decided, since I'm at the Mexican border, I gotta go with Mexican food…read more This is a local chain, and I've been to one of their other locations before. I think they were good (reviews for them are all nearly 4 stars). They're also relatively cheaper than many of the other Mexican restaurants in the area. I ordered the enchiladas suizas (chicken). The salsa tasted fresh, but it was made with diced jalapeños, so it had a kick. Did my best to avoid those. I wasn't too lucky half the time. Why is salsa in south Texas so freaking spicy? I just don't understand the desire to eat food that burns your mouth and creates an uncontrollable tearing of the eyes. ‍ my mama used to say if Mexican food didn't make you cry it wasn't good. And many people will tell you that hot, spicy food is supposed to release endorphins which make you feel good. I hope it doesn't give me bad indigestion tonight. most likely it's the salsa that will do it because of the tomatoes. Tomatoes are acidic and acidic foods cause acid reflux. And coffee and chocolate among other things. We got a list of things when Don was being treated for his severe Barrettes Esophagus.
