Worst service in all Laredo. My wife and I ordered huevos rancheros. One hour later we were still waiting for them. We had ordered the eggs over easy, with soft fried bacon. They couldn't even get that easy an order right. You could not pay me to go back there. I almosr forgot to mention they have the rudest waitresses in town. read more

While this is my 3rd visiting Laredo Tx with my boyfriend , his parents wanted to bring me to a nice breakfast place and they recommend Paulitas , the service was horrible , the time it took for our food to come out was ridiculous. Our sever took are order and never came back to check on us , while waiting almost an hour for our food we never got refills for our drinks they didn't apologize to us about the wait .. worst place ever .. we asked for Togo plates cause we were so fed up with being there already and the lady threw the foil at my boyfriends mother . Never experienced service like this in my entire life I would not recommend eating here the place was so dirty it was very hot inside the building . We ordered 12 tacos and they gave us 4 salsas smh. But food was pretty good and service was really friendly. Even though it was Togo. Place looked to be only booths throughout the place. Initial impression is very positive. The help definitely paid more attention than some of the previous reviews. I don't know if it's the time of day or the luck of having alone if their better servers. Granted, I had to break out my high school/ Rosetta Stone Spanglish but sufficient for this purpose. Barbacoa mariachi was not only the best value so far of the places I've visited, but actually tasty. The mango drink taste just like real blended mango (as opposed to powder found in smoothie places or boba teas) and of course simple syrup to add richness. I knew I wasn't ordering Jamba Juice. The serving size sufficient for a nice breakfast and didn't take long at all. Most definitely a repeat to try other dishes. read more

Last time I talked to the "OWNER" this stuck up lady that seats on the back and I told her about the bad service then, and she offered me to refund me the money, and I said no. I do not need the money, I need you to fix this and the next time we come back we expect for the service to be better! Well it didn't happen. This why I am leaving this BAD review. Today was the last time I go to this Paulitas! I gave them too many chances and the service continues to be mediocre, the servers are so rude and they literally act like chickens without their heads! Today's lunch was ridiculous we got there at 2pm a male waiter took our order and he messed up our order and when we claimed it they had a attitude about it. . They started throwing cleaning products everywhere while we were eating. And trust me we understand that you want to leave but have some respect on customers while they are eating. This restaurant was recommended to me by a local at the airport. I was actually relieved to discover we were the only English as a primary language people in the place. My co-pilot pointed at what he wanted on the menu and I ordered the large carne guisada taco. My taco was delicious and took up the entire plate. Loved their salsa verde. Awesome place! Always come and grab a Mariachi (huge, plate sized taco). Their barbacoa, the chorizo, Mexican bean and cheese and the coffee is great! Waitstaff does not hound you every 2 minutes so you can enjoy your conversation but are attentive to your table needs Definitely will continue coming while coming into town! read more

This is the worst place I've eaten at period. The food is mediocre at best, the service is a joke...little hint, when you serve soup; bring a spoon. Ineptitude doesn't even come close to a place you have to keep getting up to ask for missing menu items, cutlery and beverages. One hour and thirty eight minutes for lunch in a restaurant that is at 1/6 capacity is absurd. The apathy was nice touch too. If you've got a lot of time and enjoy barely passable food this is the place for you...if not go elsewhere, anywhere or simply just fast ! read more

This place is ridiculous slow with orders... I stopped by and ordered 2 tacos to go... 20 minutes later I asked the lady I just want my money back. She told my tacos are almost done... 5 minutes later they were finally done. I said thank you but I want my money back, I don't want the tacos anymore.. they looked stunned and tried to change my mind but no I'm sorry. I wanted my order like 10 minutes prior. good service, but normally pretty greasy. at other locations it seems the cooks try and not slab as much grease as this location. still love the plates at the price and the tortillas are big and delicious! when ordering a plate you get a side of bacon, it is totally burnt and so hard you can not eat it, so you must pick around and try to order a different protein source! read more
