Hands down the best service and the most amazing food. You walk in and feel like family from start to finish. The food is just amazing. Flavorful, plenty of options and plenty of it. The service is fast and I cannot say it enough- amazing. read more

I was over charged for my margarita and when I asked my server he lied to me and still charged me almost double. I checked the menu and I was correct. I don't appreciate the disrespect. read more

Flavorful and delicious! I really enjoyed my meal. They have an extensive menu, with all of the classics and a few more. Their queso is creamy and served piping hot. YUMMMMM! All of the dishes are prepared with care. The portions are large for the price and packed with flavor. The rice was a little overcooked on both of my visits but the flavor is good. The guacamole dip was just alright in my opinion. The house salsa tastes fresh, but if you like it spicy be sure to ask for the red salsa picante. It is intense and worth the burn! I sit at the bar which is near the pass through to the kitchen. The interaction between the staff is lively and entertaining. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. Overall this restaurant has a lot of positives working for it. I would definitely recommend it if your in the area. read more

Came here for lunch on a very nice Sunday and was pleased I did. We sat at the bar for lunch and the service from Carlos was friendly, fast, and top notch. I ordered a chori-queso (queso dip with chorizo sausage), a jumbo Texas margarita, and the El Cazuelon. The chori-queso: they did not skimp on the chorizo here. The queso was full of delicious chorizo and the queso was nice and thick, unlike some other places that water it down. It was delicious. The jumbo Texas margarita was DELICIOUS and STRONG. It was very easy to drink...which is both good and bad! The El Cazuelon is steak and chicken covered with chorizo and queso served with rice and refried beans. The steak and chicken were cooked wonderfully and both were easy to cut with just a fork. The rice and beans were super flavorful. All in all my first visit to Dos Margaritas was a very positive one! read more

I would never recommend this place to anybody and I'm someone who absolutely loves Mexican food. These people had me sitting there for 10 minutes. They walked past me three or four times and never said a thing. When one of the guys did say something he went away and was gone for about five minutes. When I decided to get my menu and walk out, he looked me dead in the eyes and pretty much said goodbye, as if me leaving because they had me waiting was no big deal. Don't eat there! That was very rude and inconsiderate. Highly unprofessional as well. They didn't even greet me. They will never have to worry about me stepping foot in that place EVER again!!!!!!!!! read more

As I walked in the door I was quickly greeted and given a menu. The staff was friendly and took my order. The food came out very rapidly and was well packaged to travel. The tacos were full, the tamale sauce had a little more kick to it than I am use to and the chips were fresh. read more

The food and the service is great and always consistent. We've never been unhappy. Highly recommend

Their food is actually pretty good! Plenty of flavor. Nothing fancy, but good nonetheless. Dining room was clean. Service was quick. No complaints read more

I'm a fan of this place. Good prices and good food. Their staff is friendly as well. Try their TX Margaritas on the rocks, some of the best around. Everything we've had here has been good. I'm not suggesting we're internet searching for the recipe once we get home but the quality and quantity has been consistent and we always leave pleased. read more

This is your quintessential local Mexican place, it's a good stop to get that fix and a Spanish beverage. I have been here a half dozen times and I've had good meals that were a good Mexican fix. Lunch and dinner, it's never been bad, it's never completely knocked my socks off. Easy to walk in, service is decent, and food comes out hot. There might be better options in the area, but this one is no-harm-no-foul. read more

The food is great and the staff friendly. I mostly get food to go. Order is ready when I come to pick it up.

Great food, great service! This place is always my go to when I'm in the mood for Mexican food. People are always friendly too.

Dos Margaritas has been my favorite restaurant for over 20 years. It's not the most up to date as far as decor but the food NEVER fails to make me crave more! I have brought my family and friends through the years and they have always said the food is great! Some days the service is a bit slower but the food is still well worth it. read more

Always great! Old fav that always gets it right the Host always remembers our drink and seating preferences and usually bud us desert

This is the best Mexican restaurant in 4-counties! (Forsyth, Cherokee, Pickens & Gilmer) salsa is always fresh, chips are never stale, chicken is stewed in tomatoes, not boiled! We've been eating here forever & travel 45 minutes to get our "fix!" Thank you for always providing excellent service & food! read more

The service is slow but the food is amazing! The beer is ice cold & my woman (Rebecca) loves this place! Keep up the awesomeness of the food!..... read more

Trash was everywhere which made me weary of eating here. There were cigarette buds/cigarette trays on the tables and broken glass at my son's feet. The food was ok but the atmosphere was a turn off. read more

Not sure about the food yet but I was turned off before I ever got in the door. There was a man laying in the sidewalk begging for money. If the food had been great I might return over looking the guy out front but it wasn't. read more

Love this place! Nachos and cheese dip are so good! My fiancé got the tacos and they were super good. Our server was great and speedy! He was well over accommodating for our needs. We will definitely be back! read more

It's taken three bad visits in a row to get here. Poor service, 15 minutes to get our order taken (it was not busy), and now my four year old son is up in the middle of the night with food poisoning. Never again. There is plenty of competition in the area, we will take our business elsewhere. read more

Decent food, but truly HORRIFIC service. I've been five times, and the first four the service was merely shoddy -- the waiters never came over without being called, but were at least around enough that we COULD call them. The last time we we went, our waiter (Humberto, I believe) was so absent that we had to flag down another waiter and ask for them to find our waiter. When we finally managed to get Humberto to come to our table, he had a very bad attitude about everything we asked for, even just to have our waters refilled. And we didn't ask rudely -- we were ready to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he was busy, not lazy. But we were rewarded with huffiness and slamming down our food on the table. When we talked to him (still politely!) about the poor service and attitude, he did not apologize but insisted that he had done a good job -- and then snottily told us to ask for another waiter next time. We attempted to talk to the manager about it but they were apparently out. I have a lot of respect for wait staff and usually tip 30-50% -- before this night the lowest I'd ever tipped was 10%, and that was for bad service. Humberto was so incredibly rude and arrogant on TOP of being a very bad waiter (it was not busy either -- he had ONE other table) that I left no tip at all. I may go again just to see if the manager heard any of our complaints (which we told to the check-out person and another waiter) and made any changes. If the service is decent then, I'll come back and review the food. read more

The food is really good. Simple, cheap Mexican. The service is terrible. Expect to wait for everything. Want a drink, wait 10 mins to be greeted by your server. This place could be so great if they would train their servers better. Most frustrating part is the hostesses are all up front on their phones while the tables are suffering. Poor management. read more

BEST Mexican restaurant you can find. While the food is absolutely delicious, the customer service is the star! These workers treat EVERYONE like family. If you want a Mexican restaurant that feels like home this is your place. The food is always STEAMING hot, fresh, & I've never ordered something I didn't like! Would highly recommend read more

I haven't been here in a long while so things could be different. Back in the day I would go here about once a month. Not too bad of a place, but still nothing too fancy. They have big beer for little price. I remember them having pretty good service. Even though they are not bad at all, I am glad I live in Atlanta now, for this type a place could not get 3 stars here. read more

Second experience at this Mexican joint and took the bunny this time. She really liked her food having the the pork carnitas dinner. Mine was just ok. The Colorado steak thingy with torts and guacamole salad come with beans and rice. The steak was fairy tender but it tasted kinda like eating nothing but a jar of chili powder if you know what I mean. Service was very average also, so this place gets a three jalapeño average star rating. Toss up but probably would give them another shot if in the area. Would change my order for sure. read more

We ordered two meals from there. The pork burrito meal was pretty good. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla, thinking it would be the size of a full meal since it was $10 and didn't come with any sides. What I received was a quesadilla on a soft taco shell with five small shrimp inside and not even enough cheese to cover the whole tortilla. It was cold and soggy but I won't fault the restaurant since it was delivery. This item should probably be on the a la carte menu so that customers are aware of its size. read more

Everyone loved the cheese dip. Our waiter, Jesus was great and very attentive, given, we came at 9:00pm on a weekday so there were only a couple other tables around. Everyone seemed friendly and the food was good. I ordered the cactus special since I had never had grilled cactus. I wasn't a big fan of the cactus itself but the steak that came with it was good. read more

The offerings are your stabdard Americanized Mexican food, but they do it really well. Tasty food, great service, and amazing margaritas. We always make it a point to stop here when we're in town, and we live in Oregon now! read more

Excellent in customer service and good quality of food. Have to try their beverages. Will be back.

My family and I have been coming here for years. For the most part this location has had the same employees for all this time which gives it a very nice familiar feeling. We've always been treated great and the food is consistently good. There are many Mexican restaurants around but this Dos Margaritas location is our regular go to for Mexican food. read more

I've been here over a dozen times the food was hot every time I got it, the drinks were very good, salsa was mild but it is good, the chips were nicely salted and they were Surprisingly warm. I will be coming he more often. read more

My family used to come here at least once a week, but Dos Margaritas has gone downhill. I went in by myself for a late lunch, and was pretty much alone in the restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Nachos Super Supreme with no lettuce. A simple request that was to never be fulfilled. The less-than-enthusiastic server delivered nachos supreme with as much lettuce as the cook could throw on there. I ordered super supreme which comes with guacamole, and there was none to be found. It wasn't a big deal to me, so I ate it anyway, but for there to be only three guests including myself, you'd think it would have been an easy enough order to fill. Sorry, Dos Margaritas. I'm all for tradition and all, but I'll never be back again. read more

I love this place! They have incredible service. The wait staff is very professional. They know my drink, and usually know my order as well. As soon as you sit down the chips and salsa are served. So many places interrupt you every 5 minutes and ask if you need anything else, but not these waiters. They watch you and when you look up indicating you need something they are there quickly. The food and the drinks are the best. My favorites are the fajitas, and the fajitas nachos. I'm going there tonight! ::) read more

Service is the establishments challenge, whether it was they were under staffed or not, don't seat the patrons until you can service them once seated. 30 minutes after being seated before a drink order is even placed. Regardless of how the food is, no customer should be subject to service of this nature. Negative stars on service, food was average only reason they received any stars. read more

This was probably the worst food we have had. The service was pitiful. We ordered guacamole dip didn't get it but it was on our bill. The waiter didn't even bother to check on us. The reason I gave 1 star is the cashier was very nice. Won't be back to the restaurant. read more
