Biria ramen

Excellent food! Biria Ramen was flavorful and the radish on top was the perfect crunch.

Chicken nachos
Vanessa G.

The food, service, and ambiance were not it. I went for a day drink with my friends and was greeted about 15 minutes after sitting down. My other two friends showed up about 30 minutes after me and waited another 20 minutes for them to get their beer. Server approached my friend and said the cager was empty. So my friend ordered a bucket of beer. Another 15 minutes of us waiting just for her to bring her a beer in a glass. Mind you she had 3 other small tables Smh ! I Not busy at all. I asked my server for my chicken nachos that I had ordered when I ordered my beer . She brought them out not Caring that my guacamole was black, the chips were soggy and the beans and jalapeños were so dry from being under the warmer. I was like wow. Smh not a good place to get drinks and appetizers. We left right after. We literally were there close to two hours and in that time we only had one beer due to service being so slow to our table. I suggest the servers get more training or hire ones that want to work in hospitality. This type of service can break a restaurant. All the hard effort an owner puts in to make it happen and to just employ staff that don't treat your customers with good service is bad business. I'll try that place again in the summer for the roof top and be drunk before I get there. This will distract me from judging bad Vs good service. But never again for food or to expect good day service.

Very fun and good Mexican bar food. The service was excellent and we got a tour! Fun place in westport...give it a try. Make sure you go to the roof!

Plush velvet, marble, a giant butterfly chandelier, lists upon lists of spirits. The whole thing is wildly opulent. Even the restaurant admits that no expense was spared creating the space. I ordered a Manhattan up, because I am incapable of ordering anything else. The bourbon selection is excellent, the cocktails are serious, the ambiance is everything, it feels so sophisticated. We looked around for a minute before a server noticed us and was like "uhhh we'll put you here at the end of the bar." Our bartender was fine but the other guy was doing all this flare and nonsense to get everyone's attention. He was the loudest person at the bar and inserted himself in our conversation twice. He clearly wanted attention which we found annoying and distracting. The drinks were good and the vibe was generally good. A nice eclectic mix of people. The DJ was great too! The service staff seemed very rough in both their interactions and their appearance. I hadn't been here in years, but I remember it being a far more refined and polished experience than what he had last night. Lastly, I don't think our $50 deposit was applied to our check. I forgot about it until this morning and didn't bring the receipt home. We each only had one drink and my total charge was $52. Not the end of the world but just another point in how they don't appear to be as on top of their service as I've previously experienced.

You get two hours in the Igloo, with complimentary hot cocoa and delicious cookies. It's super cute! I went with the girls but this is definitely date night worthy. You can order food and drinks also. I ordered the Birria Bites, Pomme Frites and Snickerdoodle Martini. My friends ordered the Honey Chipotle Chicken Wings, Pomme Frites and the Lemon Thyme Soda Mocktail. The Birria Bites were a 6/10. The Snickerdoodle Martini 10/10. My friends thought the chicken wings were about a 5/10. They liked their mocktail. We all agreed the Pomme Frites were good. 8/10. Cookies were a 10/10. The overall experience itself is a definite 10/10 recommend! I'd do it again.

They had their valentines menu so I tried the pretty in pink pick me up which was a creamy strawberry flavored drink that was tasty, so wish there was a little more strawberry, and sparkling pink coffee beans. Also tried the snickerdoodle martini which was amazing and I wish I was able to have another. Prices were reasonable and igloo had a heater, speaker, windows, different seating, complimentary cookies and hot chocolate, and 3 types of games to play. I would definitely love to come back, especially at sunset.

It has a very aesthetic, elevated feel. I ordered the burnt end flatbread, which had great flavor, but it could've used a little more time in the oven for a better crisp. The crème brûlée was a bit disappointing, as it didn't have that classic crunchy top that you expect. That being said, the espresso martini was one of the best I've had in a while definitely a highlight. The restaurant is located pretty high up in the hotel so you also have a fun view. The vibes are just right giving a slightly elevated atmosphere. We pretty much were there until closing. There was also food & drinks a part of our visit. We sat at the bar where Madi served up 3 great drinks and we go to try the Spinach Artichoke dip. Pescatarian Verdict: #stlouispescatarianapproved…read more Gram & Dun is one of my Kansas City constants. Every time I'm in town, I try to make my way here! This trip, I went straight for the shrimp tacos. They had a little kick, which I loved. Give me spicy shrimp and I'm a happy human. But the real non-negotiable item is the the not so standard potato chips with dipping sauces. Gram & Dun serves them with Parmesan and a sauce flight featuring gold sauce, comeback sauce and black pepper bourbon ketchup. The restaurant is also open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, so you have plenty of opportunities to make poor decisions involving those chips. I've been here several times, and I'll keep coming back. That's probably the best review I can give.

After sitting down, we found out that happy hour wasn't being offered because of the art fair. Luckily, we had a fantastic server who made an exception for us since it was still early and we had specifically come for happy hour. For a starter, we got the Crisp Brussels Sprouts, which had a deliciously sweet sauce and a great mix of crunch and softness. For our entrees, we got the OG Smash Burger from the happy hour menu, the Blackened Shrimp & Grits, and a side of the truffle potatoes. The standout for me was definitely the Shrimp & Grits. The grits were deliciously cheesy, while the smoky shrimp and sauce on top cut through them nicely with a sweet and spicy gravy. Everything else was good, but nothing that would necessarily bring me back on its own. Overall, it was a good meal, although I found it a little expensive for a casual dinner. I'd definitely consider coming back for a date night and exploring more of their main menu.

Nestled inside the ultra-luxurious Raphael Hotel, this upscale Restaurant/jazz club had our group feeling like we were heading to a high-society adult prom. The ambiance practically demands a raised eyebrow and a sophisticated toast. Naturally, the libations were flowing. On one end of the table sat a chocolate martini so decadent it looked borderline sinful. On the polar opposite end of the spectrum, I ordered an extra-dirty Chopin martini, complete with blue-cheese-stuffed olives. Look, it didn't reinvent the wheel, but it was executed exactly the way I'd make it at home--assuming I could ever actually find a bottle of Chopin in any of our local liquor establishments. (Seriously, who is hoarding it?) We kicked things off with the gourmet bread basket. Do yourself a favor and cough up the extra $5 for the super soft bread and whipped butter; your tastebuds will thank you for not being cheap. For my starter, I opted for the she-crab soup, which presented itself as a spectacularly rich crab bisque. Word on the street is that she-crab Is vastly superior to he-crab. This is a PG-rated review, so I shall leave the mechanics to your imagination. Then came the piece de résistance: the 12-ounce ribeye, flanked by asparagus spears and Delmonico potatoes. This sucker was thick. When I asked our waitress for a proper steak knife, she politely pointed to my standard-issue butter knife and confidently declared, "That's it!" I thought she was joking. She wasn't. Melt-in-your-mouth is an understatement; this medium-rare masterpiece yielded to a butter knife like it was soft brie. The sides were equally stellar. The Delmonico potatoes were a beautifully elevated, elite version of scalloped potatoes, and the asparagus was snappy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The evening's only tragic misstep was the cheesecake. It, too, was incredibly thick--but in all the wrong ways. While fortunately not overbaked, the texture resembled a very well-flavored, highly gourmet paste. To add insult to injury, the graham cracker crust had completely surrendered its structural integrity, offering none of the classic crunch I crave. Minor dessert tragedy aside, it was a phenomenal evening. The service was impeccable, the vibe was unmatched, and that steak alone warrants a return visit. Next time, I'll just be exploring a different corner of the dessert menu.
