Simple menu, reasonable prices, and quickly made for a nice lunch down the street from the law firm I work at. I would definitely recommend it. Their hours are good (10:30am - 3am) for anyone looking for a lunch during your daily grind, or a tasty treat in an inebriated state later at night. The only downside: the smoker they use to cook their carne asada steak has a potent smell and the potential for lots of smoke. When I've gone at lunch and decided to eat at their tables, sometimes the smell is too strong for me when they're cooking their meat. read more

The quality of Mexican food can be determined by the simple carne asada taco. I ordered three, took one bite, and threw them all away. It tasted like some unidentifiable chemical had permeated the meat. The worst taco I have ever sampled. read more

Ohhh so goooooood! I love tacos and this place has fantastic tacos. I got a chicken taco and a lengua (cow's tongue) taco and both were fantastic. They are open super late and are prime picking for all the drunkards out and about at one a.m. The food will still be good if haven't had anything to drink too. read more

This place is a gem in downtown Eugene. Get the taco salad. With carne asada and bacon. Just do it and thank me later. Or get a burrito. Or some tacos to go. Growing up in California I developed a craving for curbside Mexican food. I like that they smoke their meats however, it comes with a price. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a $10.00 burrito on the menu. The deal is that they get a steady stream of intoxicated customers that aren't thinking about price. I hope someone challenges them for their business soon. read more

Solid mexican joint where everything is smoked. The taco looks like most others on sight: grilled meat chopped up, two tortillas stacked, cilantro and (grilled) onions on top. But the meat is (almost?) all smoked. So the flavor is fairly unique. As a Texan, I find combining tacos and smoked meat to be a great idea. For the more robust meats, it works well, but for chicken the smoke flavor is actually a bit overpowering. Not a huge complaint. The chicken tortilla soup is the real deal, probably the highlight. read more

If you like burritos, then this is the place to go. Seriously the best I have ever had, and I eat A LOT of burritos. The carne asada is smoky and delicious and can't be beat, though I have heard their breakfast burrito is just as good. The green sauce is perfect and you get chips free with your food as well - all for just $6! (cash only, though). The hours are kind of weird, but they are open for lunch and late night on the weekends - perfect after the bar food. I've been looking for some delicious Mexican food downtown for quite some time now, and finally tripped over their tucked-into-an-alley location. The carne asada tastes smokey, almost like it was bbqed, and the quesadilla it came on was one of the tastiest damn bites of food I've had for a long time. Their hours suite anyone traipsing about Bar-muda, as they are open way later than most food carts I've seen downtown. There burritos are bigger around than my forearm, and probably tastier too. read more

This is one of my favorite downtown lunch spots. I usually get it to go but they do have a few shaded picnic tables in the alley. We used to work in the Washburn Building next door to this food cart. They have really nice workers and good food. I like the handful of chips I get with my meal, just the right amount. Their Bean and Cheese Burrito is REALLY BIG!!! If I eat a whole one for lunch I am usually not hungry for dinner :) Just plain old good food. read more

I've come here multiple times due to it being so close to home and work for me, I have mixed feelings I love love love the breakfast burritos, fairly priced, people keep complaining about the price but keep in mind it's authentic and made right there in front of you! Anyway, very very good burritos, alright carne asada tacos, my only downside is it's so greasy it always goes right through me and leaves me feeling slightly groggy afterwards. Mainly burritos do that for me, could be my sensitive stomach, or maybe they aren't washing their hands enough and accidentally cross contaminate every now and again. There have just been several times where myself or someone I know have gone here to eat and not felt to hot for the rest of the day, it's always a hit or miss with food carts though, with this one it's usually a hit, and I always come back for the bacon breakfast burrito, with or without the indigestion. read more
