Yum! I didn't see anything on the menu that I didn't want to try. When we saw them parked next to…read morethe Office Depot on a Friday midday, we had to try. The trailer they're in needs some love but don't let that deter you. And they'd just had a lunch rush so they were already out of a couple things (at 12:20!) but she let us know right away so we didn't try to order something that was out. We got a chicken tender basket and a sweet heat honeybird sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. First - the mac is amazing. I haven't tried a new mac I've really liked in awhile, the crunchy fried bits on top were a great addition. The sandwich... well it was bit large! But its worth it. Probably could have had a little less of the bacon pimento cheese on it, seeing as most of it seemed to have squeezed out of it haha. Also, there wasn't much heat but there was a ton of flavor. Husband really enjoyed the tenders and his jo-jos, the hushpuppies were quite yummy too! Would like to try them again when they aren't out of things to try something new!

The Habanero was the perfect amount of heat to flavor ratio. The service was fast and very friendly. (Thank you Sweat-Heat. ) My only challenge was the digital presence. Their menu wasn't mobile friendly and their locations listed could be improved for accuracy, but if you find them you gotta try them. The Hushpuppies and Sweat Heat sandwich will have me bringing the kids next time! Their prices were very reasonable and less than some other chicken chains Opening up in the area.

The two working were both very kind and helpful. I know nothing, literally nothing, about Filipino food. So I asked if any of it had seafood in it, as I don't eat seafood. The answer was no, so I just picked one of the four options, and pointed to the picture. I always feel like an idiot when I have to point at something to order it, but the woman taking my order reached out the window to point at the same one so we were on the same page. She was very accommodating to me and I appreciate that. I'm still not entirely sure what I ate, but it was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices were pretty decent too. I am full and still get to take some home to my husband. Ambiance is a food truck pod on River Road that I'd never been to before. It is bigger than I expected, with several other nearby trucks that I want to try. Would I return? Yes! Definitely yes. This friend has never steered me wrong when it comes to finding amazing small local business to support, and this is a great one. I'll definitely come back again. Review 32 of 2025.

I wasn't even sure they were open when we stopped by. It took a few minutes to find an employee. Once we did, he was kind and helpful. I ordered four tacos, and I forget what my friend ordered. But it wasn't an expensive lunch. We waited for what seemed like forever for everything to be ready. Walking around outside, the building looks like a shack. I'm not even sure there is running water inside. It has the same siding as the apartments behind it, so I wonder if it's ran by someone who lives there? Or if they cook in their home and bring it there? I have no idea. This seems very similar to Joey's Pizza in that as long as you close your eyes and don't pay attention to where your food is coming from, it'll be great. Food itself was quite tasty and enjoyable. We took ours to-to and went home. Seating is an outdoor table only. Which seems more appropriate just for waiting to get the food than to actually eat it there. Would I return? If I happen to be driving by and they're open, yes. I can't say I'd go out of my way to eat here though. But it was certainly tasty for a tiny little dive.
