Dorothy Perkins is just kind eh. The clothes honestly do not inspire any emotion in me whatsoever; nothing's really good or bad, just there.
The shop sells a lot of stuff that would be good for work. Basic blouses, trousers and suiting, etc. They also have tall and petite sizes available, which I think is a major pointer.
This shop is owned by the same company as Topshop and Miss Selfridge but I don't think Dorothy Perkins is necessarily a progression from those two stores. As a Topshop girl gets older, she might need to get some stuff here for a big-girl job, but she's not going to covet anything.
I will say that they do have some surprisingly hot shoes. Perhaps this is where the Topshop girl can keep her identity, hmm? read more
