Here's a tip for people who work at stores, and especially an auto store: Please don't refer to a lady in a store that you probably don't see many women, as baby, hon, yoohoo pretty lady in the pink dress. I literally wanted to cringe or either snap his neck, I chose the former btw. On another day, he expected me to wait an obscene amount of time to get a guy to install a battery in my truck. The store was COMPLETELY empty and manager dude was in the back doing good knows what and didn't want the gentleman to walk out the store. After a 20 minute wait, I decided it was no longer worth my time and the guy, while apologetic, refunded me for the battery. Talk about RUDE customer service! I am so happy that manager is gone, he was knowledgeable about cars but lacking everywhere else it counted.

I had to get a jump from someone at work and drove straight to O'Reilly's to get a battery test. I was really pissed since I was going to miss my martial arts class and it's been a week since I've been able to go. So on my day is the day I'm able to go my car won't start and I have to spend my evening at O'Reilly's great. I walked in and met an employee named Miquel. Dude was chill and calm like hey we will fix the problem don't worry and calmed me down. I got immediate attention and he did a battery test and it was a bad battery. He looked up a replacement and the price was decent so I said yes. Then he switched out the batteries in like 5 minutes! We had some small conversation and I was out of there! That guy is totally cool dealing with customers like me and completely changed my mood from totally pissed to happy and I was out of there I even made my martial arts class. Miquel is the man promote and pay that man!

My brother and I were driving back to College Station on Easter Sunday. Around 9:00pm and about 20 minutes out from Navasota, our alternator failed. We couldn't make it all the way to College Station, so we stopped here to buy an alternator. We were prepared to stay the night, but Aaron-one of the employees-offered to stay AFTER his shift ended to help us change the alternator! After he finished his shift, on his own time, he stayed after-hours and brought his tools over from his house to help fix the alternator. He was super friendly, super helpful, and fixed the alternator in no time at all. About two hours later, we were on the road again. I don't think any other store has employees that will stay after hours on Easter Sunday to help two random, stranded guys. I highly, highly recommend O'Reilly's and I highly, highly recommend Aaron.

Kobe did an awesome job by managing the exchange of my left low beam headlight, and left rear turning signal light. Kobe is very professional & polite. Since AutoZone was completely no help whatsoever, I decided to swing by O'Reilly's instead for a…read moresecond opinion before I go to the mechanic shop. I walked in and another attendant was thoroughly helping a customer search for parts on the computer/cash register. I waited a bit and was greeted by Erick. I asked Erick if they can run code on my vehicle since the "maintenance required" light is on. He explained that if that light is on it means that the car is letting you know that you need an oil change. I told him that I got an oil change at Take 5 in New Braunfels, TX (what I thought was recently). Erick explained that if the oil change has been completed then the light needs to be reset. He said that I would need to take it back to the place I got an oil change, take it to any oil change establishment, or learn how to do it at home. He didn't specify why he couldn't do it, but gave me reliable concrete suggestions. I absolutely loved that Erick explained to me in depth what was going on and why. He is a professional in this field and gave me, the customer information that didn't have prior to coming in. It was absolutely gold star experience! I ask myself why I couldn't get this same experience at AutoZone and I know why because O'Reilly's actually cares about their customers. When I got back to the car, I realized that my last oil change was in September of last year and I am due for another. So he gave me spot on information too. Before I left, I complimented Erick glasses. They were very cool to look at. He smiled and thanked me.
