Great flavors and solid lunch specials. The main flaw is their heat level. Their highest level is barely spicy. Like asking for habanero and getting ketchup. Only reason I order from here is because Royal Thai closed. So this is the only choice in the area that doesn't have fees on Uber Eats.

I've been getting lunch here since 2016 on and off and it's always delicious. The lunch specials is the best bang for your money with soup, an egg roll and the main meal- which i typically get yellow curry. The place gets busy during lunch time but the service has always been quick for me. The ambiance is relaxed enough for lunch but for romantic for a date a night

Came here on a Monday for lunch. Got the kao soi and the pad thai lunch special to share. They started off with giving complimentary soup and spring roll for both dishes. The spring roll was crispy on the outside, and came with a dipping sauce. The soup was warm and savory with veggies. Nothing to complain about for both, especially since they were free. The pad thai was great. Also since it was a lunch special, it came with fried rice which was cooked with egg. It wasn't as crispy/fried as other fried rice that I've had in the past, but hey it's a good deal for the price. Kao soi: perhaps my favorite Thai dish in general since it has both noodles and curry. Came with the skinny egg noodles that are fun to eat and you can gather a bunch at once. The noodles trap a good amount of the curry sauce in between the individual strands. Topped with the standard crunchy noodles that make a great contrast against the soft noodles underneath. The Thai tea was standard, very sweet, but that's too be expected. Service was pretty efficient for the two staff that were serving all the tables. As for the environment, feels a little cramped in terms of space and dark in lighting, but the food makes it worth it. It is a strip mall parking lot that does get busy so at business hours but I was able to find a spot a bit further . Overall decent lunch specials. Ambience could be better but the food is worth it.

Pros: 10s, 10s, 10s across the board. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant. The locale is very unassuming in a shopping center tucked in the middle of warehouses on 79th street in Doral, but do not be fooled they are authentic and EVERYTHING WE ATE WAS FANTASTIC, even the green tea. I simply can't wait to go back. Cons: it was a slow night and I still had to get the servers attention a few times for some extra things (extra spoon, napkin fell and I needed another) BUT, who cares, I would eat there every day if I could. Coming back ASAP.

This is a small quaint restaurant. The server was very kind and friendly. The food I felt was really authentic. The portion was great for me, but don't expect to have leftovers! Overall a great spot.

Had the lunch portions of the pad Thai, baby corn, & Penang curry, a Thai tea and Thai donut order for dessert. Each dish was full of flavors and all came with their soup of the day a macaroni veggie soup and spring roll. We ate every scrap on the plates and are so going to try more flavors another time. They open every day till 9 pm so if going back for dinner it would have to be an early one.

I was seriously impressed went for lunch on a work week and the service was great along with great food! Went ahead and ordered the lunch special that comes with so much! Your dollar really goes far here! I ordered the pad Thai special which came with a small daily soup, spring roll, pad Thai, and fried egg rice! Overall so good it had a very home cook meal feel to it and all for $9 something! I was really impressed. I'm everything came out quickly too. I can't wait to go back and try more. They even give you the option to make your food more spicy but I stayed on the mild side. Can't wait to try more options soon!

Stopped in for dinner since we were in the area. The restaurant is small which is fine. Gives a homey feeling. We were welcomed upon entry and there was no wait so we were seated immediately. We ordered yellow curry shrimp and chicken, king of the sea & a salad. Thai tea to drink. Everything was delicious. No concerns and would definitely return for a meal in the future.

This is a restaurant found behind the new Jackson Hospital West in Doral. Parking: it is in a shopping center with its own private parking lot, so it should not be an issue. Atmosphere: small with a few tables as shown in the picture. very simple and outdated but that is when you know the food is going to be the BOMB Service: very helpful and friendly Food: very flavourful! we loved all of our order. keep in mind that this is a whole in the wall restaurant, this is very simple but delicious food.

The lunch special was not good. 4 thin slices of meat, and no teriyaki sauce, or least very little. Would not come here again.

I came here to scratch a sushi itch and received a deep tissue massage…read more I must preface that I am a sushi snob. I have walked out of places that served fishy fish. Then there's the other end of the spectrum -- the kind of restaurant that reminds you why sushi can feel less like dinner and more like art, hospitality, and therapy in one sitting. Uchiko Miami sits firmly in that category. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance struck the perfect balance between modern elegance and traditional Japanese warmth. It feels refined without being cold, stylish without trying too hard, and intimate without feeling small. Every detail seems intentional. The food was exceptional, but what elevated the night was the experience around it. The fish was clean, precise, and beautifully handled. Every bite had that rare quality where you pause for a second because you don't want to rush past it. The flavors were layered, balanced, and surprising in the best way. The service was just as memorable. The staff were welcoming from the start, and my server turned the evening into something personal. I ordered what I came for, but kept being gifted thoughtful additions that made the meal feel curated rather than transactional. It is rare to feel both spoiled and completely at ease, but that is exactly what happened. Uchiko did not just satisfy a sushi craving. It reset the bar. This was one of those meals where you leave already thinking about when you can come back.

My wife and I arrived at 6:15 PM for happy hour, but our server didn't come to the table for about 10 minutes. When they finally arrived, we were told happy hour was over and we could not order any happy hour items. I spoke with the manager and explained that we had arrived before the cutoff and only missed it because nobody came to our table. While I understand having rules, I was surprised they wouldn't even honor a happy hour drink for my wife and me given the circumstances. The issue wasn't the discount--it was the lack of flexibility and customer service. After being told there was nothing they could do, we decided to leave. Still a great restaurant with excellent food, but this was a disappointing experience.

I could not…read morefollow that rule with Kuffo though...this restaurant is simply too good to not return again and again. The restaurant is named after the owner's grandma. How can anybody not appreciate a guy that loves his grandma? But there is more to Fernando than just that. He actually sums it up on his website when he writes, "cooking is my passion my real joy comes from making my guests happy." Having been there a few times now, I have grown certain that these are not just words. This sentiment comes from the heart and is evident in not just the amazing food, the attentive service, and the beautiful decor but also in the personal attention he shows every customer. It is not just business to him, it is personal. The food here is spectacular. So far I have tried a bento box which included miso soup, chicken padthai, and sashimi. The combination of flavors, the freshness of the fish, and the presentation were outstanding. I believe the dashi base for the soup must be made from scratch because the soup is so flavorful but, if not, I must find out where he gets it. The fish is nicely portioned and of a high quality. The padthai is not overly sweet like at so many restaurants which allows you to enjoy the perfect balance of savory ingredients including the perfectly cooked noodles. The portion is generous...enough to take some home. I have also had the Mongolian Chicken and the Ginger Glazed Salmon. Each of these were excellent, again sharing that perfect balance of flavors. I would call each of these dishes memorable. The only appetizer I have tried is the gyoza. It was outstanding. I like them fried but not oily, crispy on one side, with moist and not over-seasoned filling. These surpassed my expectations. The word perfect comes to mind. The only reason I have not tried any other appetizers is because the main courses are so generous. For the same reason I have yet to try dessert. I have also not tried any of the side dishes. Strangely, I have ordered sweet plantains twice, but for some reason, they were not served to me either time so I cannot comment on them. The experience was so good that is strange omission did not distract from the experience of the meal. The services is simply outstanding, the food is great and the vibe of the restaurant just creates a wonderful dynamic experience. But again what puts it over the top is the personal intention of the owner who treats us like we are his most valuable customer ever every time we walk in. And we will walk in. Often. kuffo is that good!

The tender, flavorful salmon was cooked to perfection, and the teriyaki sauce was a delectable complement. Additionally, the Lomo Saltado was equally delicious; its savory and zesty flavors made it a must-try. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful Asian culinary journey. Not only was the food outstanding at Kuffo, but the service was also exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant's cozy and cute ambiance added to the overall charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place for a nice chill dinner or lunch.

Beautiful people dressed to the nines, a few couples and a few who were obviously tourists. Great start! The highlights included the dumplings, truffle fries and Snapper. I am a French fry purist, but these changed my mind! I would skip the tuna with caviar over rice appetizer. This one hurt as it was highly recommended by our server. The proportion is just wrong. The mushrooms as a main side were also rather pedestrian. I know we had multiple desserts, but I can't remember them. A big plus for me is that we were rooftop, but it is fully enclosed.
