I went in with my wife last Saturday to look at wood door styles, and some salesman named Steve talked down to us the whole time. This is my wife's opinion as well, and she couldn't tell a Masonite door from a solid wood panel door. The showroom was a mess. A customer can't look at a door in there unless you have a salesman (or two; one would have to move doors while the other got one out) pulled doors to look at. One entrance to the "door gallery" (which looks like the main entrance, given the stand sign they put outside reading "Doors, Doors, Doors") was completely blocked by a door on a stand someone had shown to a previous client. A customer would have to go to what appears to be the back door to get in. Steve tried to exhibit a knowledge of architectural styles, but ran out after four. He tried and tried to convince us that we wanted a fiberglass door, despite the fact that we wanted solid wood and told him so from the onset. He tried to sell us a door we didn't want on the spot. Then, on our way out, he cornered my wife (we were out of the building, I was in the car already) and got our name and the name of our contractor. He went behind our back and emailed our contractor (he must have done an internet search to find them, because we DID NOT supply him the contact information) and told them we wanted a specific door that we did not want. He was clearly more concerned about the commission or the sale than he was about the actual product. We didn't realize this until Monday, when our contractor emailed us asking about a door in which we were completely not interested. Complete with a picture. This jackass tried to put a door on our dream home we didn't want or ask for. I don't care what their price point might be (we didn't even ask, so have no point of reference, but we wanted a door outside of the normal scope of stock door construction, so we'll end up paying a pretty penny), I would pay more to use even Home Depot to buy a door rather than North Jersey Door. We told our contractor such. And our interior designer. This business, which may be completely reputable, just lost a lot of business from one jackass salesman.

They were the easiest and most helpful company I have ever worked with. From the sales, front office and to the working crew. Everyone was great. The price was on par and even gave me a military discount. They always kept me updated on deliveries and crew arrival. It was a tough job as it was a 2 story house, with a very steep angle roof. They also replaced some of my siding the was damaged in a storm years before. I am very pleased with the quality of the GAF product and have a transferable warranty. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend them. They showed me various options on what to do but they were very expensive. I chose the most basic option because all I needed was a spring replaced. If you're not careful, you could spend thousands of dollars on your garage door. Other than that and that they charge an extra fee for credit card purchases, I highly recommend this company for your garage door repair.

I asked for order number for my doors, me and my partner verified it and we found out that they gave me wrong order no. after a week we drove from CT to NJ to personally talk to Julie (the Owner) and i told her please let's start fresh be honest we need our doors she said it was ordered wrong for the first time so they needed to reorder it. Again i asked for the order number, she wrote it down on the paper and gave it to me. When we're heading back home we verified and it's a wrong order number again . That moment we decided to finally cancel our order, you can't trust the people and the company anymore. The very next day we drove back to their office and asked for the refund, I also asked Julie why she kept lying to us, and giving us those lies and excuses on why the doors are not arriving yet and giving us wrong order numbers. And she just said like I don't know why i gave you that!.(Really?!!) Until finally, she gave us post dated check dated Dec.16 and she told us don't deposit it before Dec. 16 because her loan will be approved by Dec 15th. By the way she told us that her company is going through a financial problem. So we complied and we did deposit the Check on Dec. 16th, but the check bounced. It was returned by the bank. We spoke to you personally, we were very nice, calm the last time we were there. you gave us too much stress and frustrations and we missed days from work to go to your office because we can't get answers from you on all our questions through phone and email. The owner came out to see it personally and came up with a plan to install the exact Clopay doors and Liftmaster Jack shaft openers that we wanted. Julie's techs effectuated a really trick detail to make it all happen. This is the second project they have handled for us and it will not be the last ! BTW- We did shop around and got rude treatment and an "This isn't easy so I'm gonna screw you price" from another company beginning with a "B". The price was substantially higher for lower quality doors and standard openers. When I specifically asked about Jack Shafts he replied "don't even ask, there is no way to fit one in here never mind three" So we owe Julie, Savannah and the entire team a huge thank you, 5 stars is not enough !

Do not recommend, poor quality work, misrepresentation, and ongoing issues…read more We hired Angelis in late 2023 to renovate our basement and add a shower. He claimed to have a full team and promised timely, high-quality work. In reality, it was just two workers, and progress constantly stalled when he wasn't on-site. Over 12 weeks, our basement flooded twice, our sump pump was damaged and we were blamed, and our electrical panel was tripped by his equipment. His crew worked sporadically, sometimes not at all, and basic tasks like installing a toilet took months. He also pushed unnecessary upgrades, including replacing a functioning boiler and a kitchen window. The Pella window he recommended took months to install, arrived defective, and still isn't fixed. He verbally, and in his written contract, described a warranty that does not match Pella's written policy, and we've had an extremely difficult time getting support from them. Please see the attached pictures of the contract I signed with Mr. Angelis and the response from Pella windows regarding the warranty. Pella is quoting me $1619.38 for the repair, despite being promised a lifetime warranty by Mr. Angelis, which he promised was transferable and would include all mechanical and glazed parts. Mr. Angelis was paid $6,600 for this window. I posted a detailed review during the project outlining these issues. It appears that review and the name of the business was changed. I'm reposting this because nearly a year later, we are still dealing with the consequences of his work. Proceed with caution.
