Unfortunately, this experience has been completely unacceptable. I signed a service agreement, paid a deposit, and was told the replacement panel for my damaged one would take 4-6 weeks. Two months later, after hearing absolutely nothing, I called them and discovered they had forgotten to place the order. They apologized and assured me it would be ordered immediately. After more weeks with no communication, I contacted them again in early July. I was assured they would look into the issue and provide regular updates. On July 24, I received a text saying the panel would arrive the following week and someone would contact me to schedule installation. Nearly a month later, after hearing nothing, I called again on August 20. They initially had no idea where the panel was. During that conversation, I learned the order apparently wasn't even placed until July 1--more than three months after I paid my deposit and more than a month after I had called them when they told me they had forgotten to place the order. The next day, I was told they had located the panel and it was ready for installation. Even then, it took nearly another week for someone to contact me to schedule. Installation was finally scheduled for August 31. I took the day off work and waited through the entire service window. At the end of the window, they called and asked if they could reschedule. That was the final straw. I canceled the job and requested my deposit back. The employees I dealt with were always pleasant, but at some point apologies become meaningless when nothing changes. Forgetting to place a customer's order once is a mistake. Failing to place it promptly after the customer discovers the mistake, repeatedly failing to provide promised updates, losing track of the order, and then wasting an entire day of the customer's time is a pattern of extremely poor business practices. After five months, I have no repaired door and am now waiting for my deposit to be returned. Based on my experience so far, I fully expect I'll have to chase them for that too. I cannot recommend Affordable Door.

Scheduled an appointment for the next day and was given a window of 8a-10a. Installer showed up at 8:10a and was a very personable guy. He knew what type of door I had by sight and had the spring I needed on the truck. It was installed within 30 minutes and works great. The best part was the price did not deviate from the quote. I can't speak for garage door installation/replacement, but I can certainly recommend them for repairs, will use them again.
