Went thru Costco and had Door Pro America installed a Lift Master 98022 Wall Mount Opener for my two garage doors, arriving on time and completing the installation efficiently. I had to use two 10-foot heavy-duty extension cords to reach the overhead outlets, as no nearby outlets were available--a detail to address in future installations. The openers work excellently and are remarkably quiet. The overhead lights were initially placed above the garage door wall, but the outlet was in the center of the ceiling. I wish they had clarified that the lights were wireless and only needed to be plugged into an outlet. I climbed a ladder to relocate them to the ceiling center, which improved lighting significantly. I'm not thrilled with the MyQ app; it notifies me of door status and allows remote operation but lacks the ability to disable the door during specific times. read more

No call no show. They take your credit card to order the materials but then never actually order the materials. Called the customer service number and they repeatedly had no record of my address or phone number. (I had the original confirmation emails and written contract).. so they eventually found it... an hour later. Originally they told me 6-8 weeks to order and install. I'm at 12 weeks and they missed their scheduled install date. Now they're saying another indeterminate amount of weeks and maybe they can install next year?!?! These jokers never ordered my door, just took my money and ran. Total SCAM. I've filed complaints with their management and costco services read more

We ordered our doors thru Costco May 2021. I would NEVER recommend. 5 months later we still don't have doors. We had to pay in full, doors are done but they don't have anyone to drive them here from another state. We were told Aug 2021 delivery, now October 2021 and nothing. Currently if they paid a fair rate they would find a driver. Instead we're out thousands of dollars, no reasonable response from Door Pro. I would NEVER use this company again and I warn anyone who chooses them as a Costco option. read more

Tried to use these guys thru Costco, but couldnt even get an estimate. They want to come to the house for an appt and sales job. I told them the model, color, size of the door.on their website I wanted to get a quote for prior to a formal measure (if price isnt where others are, no need to waste everyones time). They have promised a callback and quote 3 times so far, and they still have not been able to give me a call with an initial estimate (call center has called a few times trying to set up in-home appt, but no sales call or estimate) . If this is the way they operate BEFORE the sale, I wont risk doing business with them after they have my money (and reading Yelp reviews). Showed up for one issue but broke the door closure during the visit and said they had to order a part to come back and fix it. It has been 9 weeks. I have spoken to everyone from receptionist to manager and techs in between. They all had an excuse and a timeline that was vague and non-committal. One guy showed up with the wrong part. Another assured me he was on the way, then cancelled but never rescheduled. He also assured me they had the part in. Long story short... it doesnt seem like they give a crap. We are never a priority (despite the words to the contrary) it doesnt appear they know what to order or how to install it. My tenants have not been able to use the garage door in more than 2 months. This company rates among the worst I have encountered for support, service and communication... yet when you are on hold with their office they sing a song about "ASAP", "done right" and what a priority you will be and how great the quality and expertise is. It's actually the opposite of what you get. And so, when someone asks me about a garage door company I say "anyone except Door Pro America". read more

Every step of this transaction AFTER the sale was a nightmare!! More than 4 months later, still waiting for completion. Promises made time and time again, broken time and time again. Measuring issues, materials not arriving on time, lack of professionalism (leaving hardware in driveway and garage which would cause flat tires, leaving handprints on newly installed door and insulation), sending emails @ 3 AM. No one local to talk to. Based in VA and get run around on the phone. Still waiting for appropriate weather stripping to actually seal the top of the door. No sense of pride in business. Sadly, I relied on the fact that they were promoted at COSTCO and did not check the reviews. Would not have used them had I looked at the reviews!! Complained to COSTCO too to no avail. I worked with Door Pro America through a Costco kiosk. The process of the initial visit was extremely easy. The associate that came to the house was very nice and professional. The wait for installation day was longer than quoted but the installer came prepared and the installation took about 2 hours. If you are a member of Costco I recommend checking them out! read more

This company is horrible to deal with. I was told it would take 2-4 weeks to order and install. 6 weeks later no door and no call, I called and was informed the door does not come in the color I ordered and I had to choose another door after waiting 6 weeks. So I told them to order the white. 3 weeks later I found out this was a special order door and would not be in for several more weeks. When I called my sales rep, he did not respond. I called the company and they had nothing but excuses (from Brad a manager) but told me my door was in and that I could get it installed but now needed to wait another week to get the installation scheduled. I cancelled my order immediately but now can't find out how to get my refund. Total headache. read more

I wish I could post a 0 at this point. We ordered through Costco, and the initial visit was quick, and the salesperson had the color we wanted. Be a few weeks to come in... okay! Works for us. We get a call earlier this week that install is today. Due to possible snow, I call yesterday, and was told that it's still on target, and that I should go ahead and move everything in the garage to make room for them. I get up early this morning, move everything in the cold, and later in the day I get a call that -- due to POSSIBLE snow -- and because the installer's truck won't start, the install is postponed to next week. If I could, I would cancel the order. I wish we'd checked Yelp to see all these 1-star reviews! read more

Worst customer service ever!!! I bought my garage door months ago and have been dealing with this company since and still don't have a functioning door. They installed it incorrectly the first time and shortly after it started making a scraping noise. They have rescheduled service to fix door multiple times but either don't show or don't bring the parts they need. It has truly been a nightmare. After complaining after they had failed to fix the I issue multiple times they sent me $100 to placate me...a small fraction of what I paid. I am on hold again waiting to find out what happened to my tech today. If I could return the door for a full refund and get my old door back and find a new company, I would in a heartbeat. I do not recommend this company! The operators are always very nice and always apologize but it doesn't seem to change anything. I just found out after getting off the phone from them that they have to reschedule once again my appointment because their tech didn't get done with the last job on time. And even though I requested it to be put priority tomorrow since they have rescheduled on me so many times they said they can't guarantee it. read more

I am using Door Pro America through Costco. The service has been great and their reps are very professional. The wait time is 2 weeks from when you authorize the purchase of the door, and from what I have seen, that is standard. The installation of the new door and removal of the old one are covered as well as new mounting hardware. Another nice aspect is the warranty for installation and harware. The sales rep who came out, Chris, was really great, and I would definitely recommend this service to other Costco members. read more

As a Costco Member, I have trusted their quality of goods and services over the years. So I set up an appointment through their kiosk, and was timely contacted by Door Pro America, who sent a sales rep to my home within 2 days. He was pleasant and professional, brought sectional samples, and knew his business. Price wise, they were competitive, particularly with the 10% Executive Member discount (a mailed rebate). The manufacturer has been in business since the 60's and the quality was good, so I ordered a garage door. Was told it'll take 2 weeks to manufacture, and then a few weeks to deliver and install -- no promise of prompt delivery, so I have no fast delivery expectations. I'll follow-up after it's installed. This has been a horrible experience! Costco had a door pro America Rep at one of their stores and I signed up to have a Door Pro America Rep come out and give me a quote. So the Rep show up and we go thru the different models and I decide on one. Then I chose the color, so I take his color samples outside and match it to my house and bring it back to the rep. The color I chose was wicker tan, however wicker tan is not available in the model I chose, and the rep conveniently did not tell me that color was not available, instead he said that that would be sandtone. Now since the color names are not on their samples I did not know what the rep had done until the doors were being installed. Now I have doors that are the wrong color and Door Pro America is not willing to do anything about it. Don't use this company! They don't believe in customer service and will do nothing for you once they have your money! read more

I purchased 2 garage doors from Door Pro America through a Costco kiosk. The doors are of good quality and the price was also good, but Door Pro's workmanship and attention to detail leaves a lot to be desired. I had to send the contract back 3 times before they got it right and then they needed to send someone out again to remeasure the doors. The majority of the installation went well, but they left a new, unsupervised employee to finish up installation of the trim / door gasket. He installed a damaged piece of trim on one door and installed the trim crooked on the other door so that it didn't seal tightly. Door Pro came out again the following week to repair the problem. The technician attempted to pound the trim up tight against the garage door rather than reinstalling it correctly. I now have to repair the scrapes and hammer dents, and repaint the trim around my garage doors. All this extra effort would be unnecessary if Door Pro would just spend a couple extra minutes doing the work right in the first place. read more
