Each member of the office staff that we spoke to was professional and courteous. We loved that what we were quoted was what we ended up paying -- a little less, even. We will definitely be hiring Two Men and a Truck again for our next move.

I hired Lets get Moving ( well I thought it was called Jerry's Moving initially) on Aug 23rd. This…read morecompany was terrible, I would never ever book them or reccomend them again. First, when I iniitally hired them it was Jerrys moving.....but then later emails were coming in from "lets get moving." I prefer to hire local and have companies that are of my culture only ( which is my right) I was fooled. Not only were there several diff names for this place, but they iniitally quoted me on the phone for 135 for 2 movers....but then jacked up the invoie to 159. The guys were moved my stuff were young ( so i feel bad for complaining about them) They took their time...especially the leader Kevin...I saw him drive by our storage place 3 times killing time on my dollar. Then he shows up with sandwich in mouth while I waited one hour. I was billed 159 for their 1 hour lunch break. He was on his phone non stop....the little guy was kind and hardworking. At the end Kevin asked me to go get him food.....I am not a person that likes confrontation so I did. They handed me an invoice for close to 1400 for less than 5 hours work. When I challenged that price he put his supervisor on the phone ( who could barely speak English) Where was this "jerry" during all of this??? He was the one who I spoke with from the start. The supervisor was so ignorint and rude I had to hang up. Then he called back and was so unprofressional and rude. I told him I did not expect this sort of cost...he said it wasnt his problem and the guys will stay there until paid in full. They also didnt compensate for the 200 deposit. Stay away from this company!!!!

I ended up using Mackie through Home Depot. They utilize them as a 3rd party delivery/installation…read moreservice. I have nothing against their delivery men. They were friendly when I interacted with them. The problem I have with Mackie's service is that they left us stranded with the machine they delivered smack in the middle of our living room with very little wiggle room. All we were looking for was a little compassion and empathy where we didn't have the right parts because we were supplied with the wrong parts by Home Depot. During their first two service calls, there was no knock on the door, doorbell ring, or phone call to signal that they were here for delivery and we "missed" it. Therefore, by the time they delivered it, it was considered a "special" run just for us but was unnecessary overall had everything originally gone to plan. They were not willing to wait past the end of their day until we could procure the right parts from our local Home Depot (an extra 15 minutes overall). I wouldn't recommend them based on how they did not help us out in our situation and we are now without a working washer/dryer. I hope this reaches the right people so that this family run business can take a good hard look as to how some of their clients are treated. For an organization the promotes how their employees take pride in their work....I fail to see it.

Worst customer experience of my life…read more They were supposed to deliver & install a drier from Home Depot a month ago and never showed up. The installation had to be scheduled for 2 weeks later. That day, they never showed up (The driver apparently went to the wrong address AND called the wrong phone number) They rescheduled for 2 days later, we waited all day and still nothing. We are waiting for our FOURTH time to get this drier. I can't get a hold of anyone at the company, I'm put on hold for 10 minutes then it goes to voicemail. After a whole week of calling, they left me a message saying to call a different number which is disconnect. Terrible service. Unreliable. Utterly Dishonest. 0 Stars. Do NOT order aplliances from home depot in Toronto as long as they use this company.

I used Ninja Movers back in 2019 for a move and had a great experience, so when it was time to move…read moreagain, this time from a condo to a townhouse, I decided to use them again based on that positive experience. Unfortunately, this move was very disappointing, especially considering how happy I was with them the first time. The biggest issue was the wardrobe boxes. The move included two wardrobe boxes, and I had also specifically requested a third one because I had a lot of clothing and other items that needed to be moved carefully. However, about three hours into the move, the movers told me that they had not brought any wardrobe boxes at all. I had to leave the move, drive to Home Depot myself, and purchase boxes so we could continue. I ended up spending approximately $120 out of pocket for boxes that should have been provided as part of the service. This was particularly frustrating because the request had been made in advance and the boxes were part of what was agreed upon. The move was initially quoted at 5 hours but ended up taking 7 hours, I had to pay $400 more. Part of the delay was because the movers did not bring the proper tools to disassemble some of the furniture, despite the fact that I had sent pictures beforehand. They had to borrow my tools, which I didn't mind, but they left them all over the place. The travel time was also much longer than expected. The two locations are approximately a 30-minute drive apart, but it took them about 1 hour and 23 minutes to get to the new location. This contributed to the additional labour time and cost, meaning I ultimately paid for two extra hours. At the new place, the furniture was not properly unwrapped or set up. Much of it was simply left wrapped in the protective film, scattered the garbage in the rooms. I understand that moving can be unpredictable and that not every move will go perfectly. However, given my excellent experience with Ninja Movers in 2019, I specifically chose them again because I trusted their service. This time, I ended up paying approximately $120 for boxes that should have been provided, paying for two additional hours of labour, and dealing with several issues that could have been avoided with better preparation. It's unfortunate because I genuinely wanted to have the same positive experience I had in 2019, but this move fell well short of that standard.
