It's also much quieter, more responsive, has better lighting and has an app so I can know if I remembered to close it. I am reminded of each of these upgrades every time I open the garage door and appreciate it every time. The garage door that was installed arrived already damaged, with visible dents, yet the installers moved forward without addressing it. They also used a mismatched weather strip and didn't mention it, which was frustrating to discover afterward. To make matters worse, the door didn't function properly from the start--the track appears to have been bent during installation, causing it to close unevenly. After reaching out, one damaged panel was eventually replaced, but another was never taken care of despite multiple assurances it would be. Since installation, the door has continued to malfunction and often needs to be opened and closed several times before it will fully shut. Communication has been extremely poor. There were several promises to return and fix the ongoing issues, but none were followed through on. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience with a lack of accountability and follow-up.
