A hinge on my garage door broke, causing a wheel to pop out and the garage itself to come off the tracks on one side. Guy answered my call and arrived within 1 hour. He explained the damage so that I understood what happened, gave me a repair cost estimate (which was fair), and promptly made the necessary repairs. He then recommended that because of the age of my garage door/parts, I should replace the springs, end-bearings, and drums in order to avoid risk of future damage that could be worse. He gave me an estimate on the cost of replacements/service and I took his recommendation. Guy was able to complete the replacements very quickly and then took the time to explain to me exactly what repairs/replacements he completed. He was also able to install a wireless keypad that I had requested. In total, the repairs, replacements, and payment took 45 minutes. Guy provided quick, friendly, and professional service for a fair price (I did some price researching online). Great experience overall - I would highly recommend! read more

Super job. Definitely recommend this local business. He's honest and dependable. Great experience.

My garage door opener suddenly stopped working and all out cars got stuck inside. I texted John who told me he will send Guy over to get our cars out. Guy showed up within an hour and quickly got our car out of the garage and so our next day driving to work got no impact. Guy is professional and polite and I'm really happy with him getting our car out from the garage. read more

I called this company to fix my garage door that was stuck open. They came out and said it would be a lot of work but they could fix it for $245. He spent 10 minutes and told me he couldn't fix it in had to buy a new motor, that would cost me $745. I called Garage door Hero's and they came out and fixed it in 10 minutes and programmed my remote controls for $85. read more

OC Garage Doors was one of 3 companies I contacted to replace a broken torsion spring. After turning away one of companies that tried to charge much higher than their initial quote while at my property, John quickly responded. He replaced the springs, lubricated the door, calibrated the motor, and tested the door at the original price he quoted. I highly recommend the company and John for their professionalism and quality of service. read more

Called on a Wednesday morning around 10am and had service in 1.5hr. Very Impressed! Lifetime Client, for all my properties.

After this business installed my garage door opener, I had to hire another technician to correct the work. The pricing was very high, and screws and other debris were left in my garage by the installer. In response to John's message below, I would note that I had a non-functioning garage door for at least a day or two, and the business's response was to offer to have ME fix it while I was on the telephone with them. There was no in person visit offered at that point which is why I had to hire another company to fix the poor work. The price paid for this type of customer service was way to high. read more

Last week I had a rude awakening as someone hit my garage and pushed the door in about 6-8 inches. Per usual, I called multiple garage door companies for quotes and info. One of the first things I try to sense is if they are honest. Not only does the reviews vet their honesty but I can personally vouch for John and his company. After john inspected the garage, he gave me a couple of options which one was to fix the damage railings or to provide new ones. Of course new ones came at a premium but the fact that he pointed out that the railings could be fixed displayed his truthfulness and honesty. They were able to come out 2 hours after i had called them and the job was completed in 1 hour. I was very happy with their service from A-Z and would recommend them to anyone having garage door problems. read more

Fantastic service! I called another garage door service a few weeks ago and the earliest appt they gave me was two weeks out. I thought I fixed the issue but unfortunately my garage door was not predictably closing so instead of booking with them I opted to call OC Garage Doors instead! It was Labor Day so I was shocked that they even responded let alone that a technician was outside my door in less than an hour. Guy replaced my sensors and totally solved all the issues, he was fast, honest, and very professional. I was able to get on with the rest of my day knowing my garage door was fixed. I've saved their number and if I ever have any issues I'll be calling them without hesitation. read more

*This review is strictly for their custom gates not Garage Services* I reached out to this company as they had great reviews on Yelp and I was looking for a new custom pedestrian gate for the front of my home. They sounded like they knew what they were doing. I talked through my original idea and scheduled the consult. The team that showed up (on the 22nd) was an outside company that has no affiliation with the company other then is a preferred vendor. So note THEY do not do the gates, they simply call a vendor to go out there. This was a surprise to me and was not disclosed till this team showed up. After talking and looking at where the gate would go, they sold me on an all metal gate over the mixed material (metal/wood) I had originally wanted. I asked 2-3 times about price and they said not to worry that it would be the same as what they quoted. We drew up the design, I gave them all the door hardware, gave me a lead time of 2 weeks and they were on their way. The next day I get a call from the office saying that there is a 30% increase in price. After much back and forth we settle on a 15% increase. I figured it would be worth it. I then get a txt 2 days later (24th) of a photo of the completed gate. I thought, wow they are good! But i noticed a few things were off, specifically that the hinges were installed on the face instead of the side like most doors. They said that it was due to the weight of the door and that they would change it but to call them back to repair it when they break. So I just said ok... The install gets changed a few times due to the 4th and they end up installing on the 3rd. (Original lead time was install before the 4th, so nice that it was on track.) at first glance everything looked great and we went on our way because we had plans and they had just called the night before to reschedule. They said we didn't need to be present so we just kept on schedule. When we got back and looked at the gate more, we noticed how many corners were cut. No wonder why it only took a day and a half to complete. This is supposed to be a security door, the hinges were partially welded, the metal face that goes against the door strike was tack welded in place, all kinds of metal weld deberes that hadn't been wired brushed were left and none of the cross members were welded on the top or the bottom of the bars. Pretty much only 1/3 of this gate got welded. We got it powered coated so now we are stuck with all the flaws. O yes and I looked into that hinge placement, only maters when you use lower quality ones, not the heavy duty ones that are supposed to be used for security doors. I brought all this to the attention of the team and never had anyone from management call me. Only ever spoke with the receptionist, who was very nice. They gave me a 15% discount. So if you remember above, there was a mark up after our first meeting, we were back to the original price. So all and all I got a 1/3 welded custom metal gate for the original price that was quoted and lots of headaches to go with it. I would tread lightly for custom gates here. read more

Called in and given a quote of 125 for single spring garage or 175 for two springs set, plus 98 for service. I did price shopping and cancelled my other appointment because this quote was cheaper by 30 bucks. Employee arrives and says it's 179 per spring. I told him that was not quoted on the phone. I told him that I will have to go elsewhere. He tried to charge me a service fee and I argued back. I had a pediatrician appointment that I couldn't reschedule so I negotiated the price down a bit. Then said the price was only available if I paid cash. The employee was not friendly and left the broken springs on the ground near the steps instead of throwing them away. Had I not been in a rush, I would of paid more elsewhere for better customer service. Only positive side is that he did a good job and did it quickly. read more

It was a hot day and I just got home from doing errands. I opened my garage door, drove in, and pushed the button again to close it when the door just dropped. The arm connecting the door to the actual garage door opener came apart and truthfully, I didn't know what to really do. I called Orange County Garage Doors and the person on the phone asked if I could text them a picture, which I did. I asked how much and he replied with the answer and then I said "let's do it", in which he replied with "I'll head over right now". My garage door was fixed within 30 minutes of the door breaking. He even told me how my spring was the wrong size and that it's not perfect, but it's not bad either, I was relieved. After fixing it, he even made sure the motor was up to par with the new adjustments. It was quick, easy, and affordable. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Customer service. My husband and I called four OTHER companies for emergency garage door repair and they were SO rude. OC Garage Doors was immediately amazing! Maoz Raz was EXTREMELY patient, kind, and got the job done. We took pictures of our garage door, sent it and then we got an estimate. In an hour, he was here fixing what needed to get done. He did an excellent job. I am very pleased and grateful to have found OC Garage Doors when I did. They came to our rescue! I have attached before and after pictures! He left us his card and the company label too for future emergencies. I called John at OC Garage at 4pm on Saturday Memorial Day weekend. John gave me price to diagnose the problem. He sent the technician named Guy. He showed up on time with a great attitude and expertise. My door hardware is very difficult to get access. I was concerned that the repair might need an extra hole in the wall to gain the correct access angle to repair. Some companies would walk away from a challenging situation but Guy reassured me that it might take a bit more time but he could get it done. He did it. Very happy! read more

Friday morning started with a loud bang, and after looking around the house, I noticed that the spring in the garage door snapped. Since I wasn't in a rush, I had John come by Saturday morning. It was an easy replacement of the springs for him...after hearing him explain the quality and longevity of the springs, I opted for the upgrade because it was easy to see the difference in quality and size of what I had and what I was going to upgrade. It took him about 15 minutes to install the spring, but he spent a lot more time fine tuning and calibrating the opener to the new springs. That was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend him for any garage service you may need. And it was great that he brought his puppy with him. read more

We got a new garage door (with windows along the top) from Orange County Garage Doors about 10 months ago. Their prices and lead time were competitive, their reviews amazing. The door was perfect. I absolutely love how it allowed light into our previously dark garage and it added charm to our exterior. We had a hiccup this week (the door wasn't opening properly) and we contacted John. He made immediate plans to come and check it out. He showed up on time, confirming his arrival 25 minutes in advance (love that). He was quick, honest, and the door is working perfectly again. He didn't charge me a cent for the repair. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see a passionate business owner care so much about his business and reputation. I would gladly recommend John and his company to anyone and everyone. Thank you John! read more

I came home to find my garage couldn't open, turns out one of the springs broke. I have a 2 car metal door.
