What an amazing place for boarding. Brought my dog here and was very impressed with the level of…read moreservice, the way they treated my dog and their knowledge about animals. It was nice to go somewhere that they really know about characteristics of different breeds and take the time to get to know your pet. UPDATE: Since the last time I was here, we acquired another dog. He's a Great Dane. He's bigger than my 5 yo mix and is still a clumsy puppy. While we boarded them both over Xmas 2019, I received a phone call that my Great Dane has peed on my other dog during their walk and they offered me a free bath for my little guy. The fact they took the time to call and get permission was wonderful. And it was free. They also upgraded my dogs to a bigger room at no charge. Love this place!!!!

She is very thorough and you can tell she really cares about animals and also my concerns. She spent so much time talking to me in depth about my newest puppy and all the questions I had about pet insurances, Flea, Tick and Heart-worm preventatives, the Rabies vaccine and when it was safe to give to such a small dog. I never felt like she was rushing to get to her next patient, the way I have with some providers. I was also surprised at how reasonable my bill was!! I have more experience with Veterinarians than I care to admit, so trust me when I say, Redding Veterinary Clinic Amazed me! I asked that they do the dog that had the puppies first because she was skidich leaving her pups. I could not see what was being done because they were in an area I couldn't see. There were so many dogs being worked on. Very busy. Less than an hour they brought my dogs. The mom dog was damp but the other one was completely dry. I was surprised it was less than an hour for the two dogs. In other places I've gone to, it is almost an hour each to service. After i took them,They had no shampoo smell a nd noticed the mom dogs nails were not trimmed properly. Still long and very sharp instead if grinding down. I called the next day and said her nails weren't trimmed properly. So the person I spoke to said to come back to have them redone. I did. This was somuch of my time wasted and more nervous tension for the moment dog to leave her pups. The nails were trimmed properly now. Also, I was told one person was going to work on the dogs. I feel the way the both were so different and the time it took, there had to be more than one. She did not come ot to apologize about the trouble and had a different person take care of the nails. So, watching as the other employees work on the other dogs, and the amount of time spent washing, I feel they didn't do what I had asked to wash. It also takes time to wash and dry.. I will not be going back.
