Andrew did a fine job working with us and our young female German Shepherd, TEVA. He traveled round trip from Redding to Hayfork so he could assess Teva and also assess us to map a training plan. What impressed us was Andrew's respect for Teva in her home environment and his sensible and cautious approach to her. He truly listened to us about our needs, our past experiences, and abilities. Along with his suggestions he also respected our attitudes and personal preferences. We liked that Andrew was flexible, rather than following a rigid script of training methods. Andrew was always timely, despite the hideous CalTrans highway work and traffic stops, and was fair and reasonable in his fees, which included his travel time. We only wish we lived closer to Redding so we could work more frequently with Andrew to continue Teva's training. We would definitely recommend Andrew! read more

We just had a consult with Andrew for our rescue dog, Willow. Willow has a bad habit of barking at new people. Andrew took his time to understand our situation, and read our dogs personality, in order to help create a plan to work with Willow. You can tell when talking with him, that Andrew is very knowledgeable about canines and their behavior, and that he has a passion for training them. While it was only our first meeting, we are excited to continue working with him towards improving our dogs confidence, and ability to adapt to new situations. I would recommend going to him for any dog training needs, whether it be puppy training 101 or something a little more advanced, like Willows issue. read more

Andrew has been great with Lulu. Lulu is a very exuberant terrier. She's very excitable, likes to jump up and nip people and was very difficult to control. Then she jumped the fence and bit our neighbor. Andrew did an evaluation and made some recommendations, including a shock training collar. I'd never used one before, but it's been great with Lulu. It gets her attention when needed. Andrew worked with us to teach how to use the colar and to work with Lulu. Everyone says that she's a different dog now. She's still a pup and still exuberant, so we have to stay on top of her all the time, but she's controllable. read more

This class was great. There were about ten different breeds and the instructor helped each of us owners understand what our particular dog's behaviors were stemming from and how to work together with our dogs well. I was amazed at how quickly my border collie responded when I was shown the right way to train her. So interesting watching the others, too. Teacher was owner and he was great. This was our second class with his instruction as he helped us train our cavalier spaniel too and that was also a very good experience. Well worth the money! read more

it seemed like we had an impossible situation. We thought we had an unruly dog that wouldn't listen, and always jumped on us, and absolutely hated other dogs. Our two dogs got in a fight, so we knew we had to do something. We called Andrew and after several training lessons, our unruly dog has become a great dog who wants to please us, and our dogs are slowly getting used to eachother again. We couldn't have done it without Andrews help, he is so awesome! He really understands dogs and knows exactly how to work with them. read more

We have been working with Andrew with our two dogs. One of our dogs had been in training before so i had my doubts about this experience. Andrew came to our home and on the 1st day he helped us address a couple of issues and I was blown away at how fast they obeyed the commands and that was just on the 1st visit. Andrew is truly our local dog whisperer and I would recommend him to anyone! Andrew taught us how to be calm yet in control and earned the respect we needed to have from our fur babies! Thank you Andrew! read more

Andrew has been coming to our home for three weeks. The day after his first visit I was able to walk out my front door without competing with Kora or Mishka. He has taught me to train our dogs with love and pets. It helps to establish a great relationship.Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. We took our 10 month old German Shepherd to Andrew. He didn't come in public, or come at all rather. When we picked him up to bring him back home, we noticed a world of difference. We needed a couple things fine tuned, and Andrew and his wife couldn't have been better. Zeus learned everything we asked for and his success is a great example of everything Andrew did with him! Everything about the process was great! Thank you Andrew. read more

I recommend Woof training to anyone that wants or needs professional dog training. Andrew is great. He begins with an evaluation before putting a training program together. He helped us train a young rotweiller and the results were amazing. The dog was smart but very stubborn. Andrew has incredible patience which was needed with our dog. Thank you Andrew. We'll certainly contact you again if we have future training needs read more

Andrew and Elise are a perfect team! I got my dog from an animal shelter at 10 months of age. She bites, jumps, chews, and barks. In the first class, Andrew and Elisa have shown me how to work with my dog in an effective manner using praise as well as gentle corrections. I know it will take a long time, but I am looking forward to a well-mannered dog by training her using Woof Training techniques. read more

Woof Training helped me understand the psychology of my dog. They also helped make her a more obedient and happy dog to be around. With only one personal training lesson, I was finally able to enjoy a walk where she walked by my side! This is truly a miracle considering she's 10 months old and would pull me around the block on a daily basis. I would recommend Woof Training to everyone. read more

Andrew is the best dog trainer I've ever come across. He comes to my house and TEACHES ME how to teach my dog. When I am"stumped" with a problem with my dog, Andrew comes over and reads the situation SO WELL and then efficiently teaches me how to fix the problem. He has a "gift" for reading issues with dogs and knowing how to solve the problem (or teach cool tricks, or whatever). read more

Highly recommend Andrew and Elise. They are excellent trainers. Very patient and knowledgeable. My 18 month old border collie has high anxiety. Andrew helped me understand what he needed to keep his anxiety at bay. Needless to say, with hard work and guidence, Jett not only passed his basic obedience class, he was the most improved. We will be moving on to the advanced class read more

I appreciate Andrew's patience and dedication to training us. I've worked along side educators for 30 years, did lots of observing teaching styles. I see that his clear communication, how he seizes the moment, and reminds us to slow down is critical to our success at becoming responsible, loving, dog owners. A million thanks to Woof Training! read more

AMAZING!!! I cannot say enough good things about Andrew & Elise! We noticed an improvement in our dogs' behavior immediately. So happy to be working with Andrew! We had a great consultation last week and have our first training session tomorrow. We are really needing help as we recently brought home a new rescue dog. Andrew is a very compassionate dog trainer, he understands the moods and feelings of your dog. He also trains the pet parents, which is sometimes the hardest part of dog training. My dog and I are in scent training for Diabetic Alert. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a professional to work with. read more
