We signed up today, worked out for 30 minutes, then picked up our son to find out on our own once we checked his bag, that he was fed a bottle that was not his. He consumed someone else's breast milk and or formula. We're still waiting on their staff to resolve this issue. If you're a parent, I don't have to explain the concern, frustration and worry that comes along with this. Needless to say this was SO not what we expected from the YMCA. We will not be back. Be careful who you decide to leave your children with.

The staff is very helpful when we have questions about schedules and activities. We take advantage of the child drop off which allows us to workout and gives our kids something to do. They have daily drop off times which is helpful. We also enjoy the pool and hot tub, as well as the ability to go to any other YMCA in the area and use their facilities. It is a great value for our family of 5 and while we have only been members for a month, we look forward to our weekly visits and it has become part of our routine.

I was just informed by my daughter's mother that the…read moredaycare talked crap about me, and claimed there was a balance due for my daughter, due to being a few minutes late, when I had thought the owner and I had figured this out. A year ago was the last time I was late, and one of the manager daycare provided told me I had to pay $1 per minute I was late. I made no issue, even though this was never discussed prior, and I paid the amount in cash. This daycare worker took my money and gave no receipt and made no effort to give me the change. She simply said that she would start a tab with the change, which was significant. Highly unprofessional. A year later, recently, I was late again. I was asked to pay the late fee, and I mentioned that I actually have a running balance from about a year ago. The owner looked up that it showed me paying a late fee about a year ago, corroborating this, and the daycare worker even admitted that I had given more than the balance owed, but they told me an amount that was NOT accurate or correct, and had NO records to show otherwise. The owner had made no additional comments to me, but then I hear her talking poorly of me to my daughter's mom and asking her to pay a late fee of mine, knowing FULL well at this point that I had a running balance that wasn't documented at all, let alone professionally. I give customers credits of hundreds and even thousands for the sake of customer satisfaction, but to be that petty over what can't even pay for a meal anywhere? Just unreal. The daycare had also asked for me to give a schedule for my daughter, after one had already been provided by my daughter's mother, who enrolled her. I gave a full description of the days I have her and don't via email. They said this wasn't good enough, and wanted it on a calendar. I provided this to them in writing and they said, it STILL wasn't good enough, and they wanted me to send a calendar electronically. I asked for a menu for what my daughter was eating there, and I wasn't given one for MONTHS. I frequently call in, and nobody is at the office to accept the call. Once, I had called in numerous times, until someone picked up, and this daycare worker told me she had to abandon her children in order to answer the phone, and therefore wasn't willing to abandon them again, to go upstairs to check to see if my daughter was in! Which is against NYS regulations btw, to not only have the proper staffing, but also a head staffing person with a degree, who can float around and answer phone calls. They've also made comments that they have had less teachers than legally allowed on buses for field trips. They've also complained about a friend's son for being too hyper when it was made known ahead of time that they had ADHD. They make this same complaint about my daughter's brother to her mother. When I was using the app, I was often told my other parents of events that were never told to me, which resulted in my daughter not being able to participate in activities, due to not having a swimsuit or towel and such. I've never dealt with a daycare so unprofessional, talking behind your back as well as just plain violating all sorts of NYS mandates. They're one call away from the department of labor from being shut down.

They keep us up to date throughout the day with pictures, videos and food logs. They address all our needs in a timely fashion. We have been very pleased . The facility is not high tech or "state of the art", but I am in no frills parent. My greatest concern is that my children are comfortable, educated and well cared for and all of their needs are met at this daycare. Also, full time cost is the best around for what is included .

Toured Childtime in Penfield recently to find a place for our children. We were greeted by the…read moreDirector who was pleasant. Another woman was walking around with a clipboard. She wasn't very friendly and after observing awhile snapping at the Staff and actually rude to one. The way you treat staff also indicates how children are treated. The two school age classrooms Nursery and Pre-K were not really engaged in learning, It is important to play but also be learning as young minds develop quickly. There were a few older staff which was reassuring as nurturing is so important especially with babies. We continue to look, but this center needs some more experienced staff who are teachers and not just playing. We have a Pre-K child and want him to learn. My husband forgot something inside and when returned overheard the one woman commenting on our visit and didn't care if we came as we were to picky-Wow-I wouldn't recommend this place and my friends that have children there I will mention the unprofessionalism this blonde woman had.

Our jobs can be difficult at times but I always look forward to going to work. I also enjoy my babies and their families. There was also the issue of working part time at another job, I most of the time never got out on time.
