Good decent family place to get taste donuts, plus you can use your credit or ATM card not like other places that " only cash"

I bought the foot long $4.75 pastrami sandwich last Thursday at 2pm for my late brunch meal; For the price I jus' can't beat it. Donuts Galore is near Raging Waters. From the 57 exit off at Via Verde and go west, it is on the southeast corner of Puente St. or you can exist off Via Verde from the 10 freeway and go north and then east on Via Verde. Donuts Galore closes @ 6pm I think. They have donuts and other sandwiches as well. The service is always friendly and good. read more

The sweet old Asian lady that owns this place is personally responsible for my 20lb weight gain in the past two months. I know I know, most would say it's my own fault due to my lack of self control. Impossible I say, because I find it hard to concentrate at work while I lust after those luscious donuts of hers. The best kept secret here is the honey wheat donut. Your first reaction must be that it is unholy to fry wheat and call it good. This isn't your hippy loving, gluten free, my stomach bleeds if I eat anything with real flour in it. This donut is moist, sweet, and oh so good. If fried dough isn't your cup of tea, she also makes some great sandwiches. I love when you can get a good sandwich and not feel like you got financially violated after you're done paying for it. It's a good thing this place is near my office; and not near where I live. I would probably be doing the waddling shuffle walk by summer time. read more

Good friendly donut place. Please bring CASH as it is only a CASH ONLY place. Other than that, it's a small mom and pop business serving the locals. The ham and cheese croissant is good when they warm it up for u...definitely a filler ! The fruit smoothies are too sweet but just get something ice cold from their fridge instead read more

Donuts Galore - Support mom and pop stores ! They are nice and always have a service with a smile ! - Donuts Near Me - San Dimas, California

I love this place. I've been going here with my sister and mom for years. The owners are wonderful. They remember everyone. Whenever I go in by myself they ask about my family. So nice. Note: it is cash only read more

This company is too concerned about their bottom line and not about producing enough product to last throughout the day. For example, they don't produce enough chocolate donuts to last past 11 AM. This is similar to the other products that he serve. read more

I grew up going to this spot. Support local business and try it out! Can't go wrong with ANY of the sandwiches. The Sugar twist, apple fridder or the pink rainbow sprinkle doughnuts are my all-time faves! The people who work here are SO nice and they've been there for years! read more

Ahhh... what can I say about one of my childhood stomping grounds? I grew up nearby and was in this place quite a bit. The doughnuts are like most other doughnuts. Not much to write about there. The main reason me, my family and all the friends I introduced to this place throughout the years would go (and still get there when we can) are the sandwiches. One large GALACTICA please! This is seriously a delicious sandwich. There's just something about it. Another great thing is that it has been there for sooooooooo long and it's always nice to see familiar faces behind the counter going back as an adult. Doughnuts Galore is a Via Verde (San Dimas) institution. read more

This place is a Diamond in the rough! If you are in San Dimas for whatever reason, spec. Via Verde, and craving a sandwich, GO HEREE!!! Any sandwich you order here is great, but the best ones are the Galactica, Jaws, and Pastrami sandwich. A Subway just opened in the same shopping center, but don't go there. Support your local sandwich spots. There aren't many left!!! read more

UPDATE: I'd say if you are in the mood for a good tuna sandwich, Ambros is a step ahead of Donuts Galore. Jaws and Galactica are still my favorites here. read more

Consistently great sandwiches, donuts, service! I've been coming here for five years and it is always a positive experience.

I have been going here ever since we moved into to town when I was six Best Best BEST donuts!! They are always fresh, never soggy They also have really good sandwiches, reasonably priced. As crazy as it is I love their ice! It's the small crunchy kind. I'm always getting a soda just to have it on a hot summer day This place has been owned buy the same family for years and they are always so friendly It's also perfect to visit before a picnic in the park across the street. Only down side..they close early in the evening, no sandwiches for dinner. read more

I donut eat the donuts here. I get their croissant sandwiches haha.

TAGLINE and QUICK TIP: "Everything in this donut shop is superbly delicious almost without equal. I have yet to find a better donut shop that makes better subs." If I had to sum up this donut shop in one breath, the Quick Tip above, would say it all. But for review purposes, here it is.. Class: Donut Specialty Shop - American/Filopino Style Owner Availability: May, she's available most if not ALL the time. PERSONAL HISTORY: First time I've been here was when I was 7 years old, it was late and both my Grandma and I had been locked outside of the house, and I was starving. My grandma took me to this place, and they gave me the first and greatest impression. Completely a hole in the fall delight. I had never forgotten their generosity and great tasting subs ever in my life. Once i've gotten into my middle school years, this has been the signature after school meet up place for my friends and I, just to grab a quick donut or after school chow. Their SUBS are without equal as of today for the past 10+ years. SERVICE: Quick, and professional. As friendly as you can get, with a little bit of the Asian-American accent. ATMOSPHERE: Simple donut shop with flat screen digital TV. FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS (may vary after every visit): Complementary appetizers: NO It's a donut shop.. ha. Appetizers: Any Donut will make you mouth water. I personally love the Maple Bars and Glazed Donuts. Chips rack. MAIN COURSE: GALACTICA, JAWS, ROAST BEEF, TUNA, HAM AND CHEESE SUB's are amazing. I personally want everything on it (lettuce, pickles, mayo, mustard, and etc). You cannot go wrong with any sub to your liking. THE CROSSIANT SANDWICHES (HAM AND CHEESE, TUNA, COMBO). Honestly, you do not need to ask me anymore. These are great. I would wake up early in the morning just to have any of the sandwiches/subs at this donut shop. No need to say anything more. REFRESHMENTS: Common bottled soft drinks and assortment of Snaples, Gatorade/Powerade, coffee, and Soft Drink Machine. Overall, I rate the food at a 9.7/10 rating in flavor. Beverages depend on what you like. Cannot rate. So I'll give it overall of a rare 5/5 stars in it's category and style. This is definitely the best as it gets, aside from Krispy Kreme. There will always be a special place in my heart for this donut shop. read more

Great donuts. Great sandwiches. Great tuna. Great everything. I have been coming here since I was 5 and I loved it ever since. Their tuna sandwiches are the bomb. They have no fish taste to it and has a lot of flavor. They also have Thai Tea which I am a big fan of and it's so good not too sweet ! read more

When I'm really in need of a club sandwich on croissant, I eat here at Donuts Galore. Galactica's are thee item to get here. Supporting local shops is the best, and so is eating here. EATHERE. read more

This is a cash only establishment. I think there is a BOA ATM nearby and a Vons nearby where you can get cash back. I've only had the donuts here a handful of times, but they're delicious. Can't go wrong with them. You also have to try the donut holes. They are so addicting! The main reason I come here is for the galactica sandwich. It's $4 for a small and $5.25 for a large. Such a deal! Way better than Subway or some chain sandwich shop. The bread is nice and soft and the lettuce is fresh and crisp. Reason why I gave them only 4 stars instead of 5: there were a couple instances a while back, like a year ago, where I got bad meat in the sandwich. I avoided this place for a while, but decided to come back to give it another shot. The sandwich I had a few days ago was great and I hope to come back more often now. read more

Excellent service! I've only gone there for their sandwiches. I know I should be giving them 5 stars but I still need to try their donuts so it can live up to its name "Donuts Galore." I usually get a Croissant, Tuna, Pastrami, or Galactica sandwich. I'd choose Donuts Galore over Subway and Quiznos anyday. read more

Donuts Galore has very good sandwiches and it's close to where I live so I am a fan. I've gotten the Galactica, Jaws, and Turkey cheese sandwich. All were great. They have a great variety of chips and their sodas are good because they used the crushed ice. I'm not a big fan of donuts but I had one and it was very yummy. They also have smoothies, chocolate milk, and coffee. I just go here for the sandwiches because they are a great for the price. Go here instead of Subway. read more

I grew up with May and this shop. I recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Keep in mind when you go here it is CASH ONLY! Service is great, everyone is so nice, and the sandwiches are AMAZING! Been going here since forever. Better than Dunkin. Way better than Krispy Kreme. Personal favorites are the croissants, maple bars, and apple fitters, but I've never tried anything here that wasn't lovely. Get there early in the day for the freshest donuts. read more

Went in this morning for the first time and the sweet older lady greeted me as if I was a regular. It's always nice to have a little shop nearby home that's welcoming with good food. Donuts Galore, how I adore... The smell of sweet, delicious, glazed, scrumptious, melt in your mouth donuts hits you, like a baby angel punch, the moment you walk in. Soft and not overwhelming, still noticeable. Just like most reviewers I've been coming here since I was a toddler. However, it is not my favorite donut place so I am not going to write a biased review. The donuts are so freaking delicious! From the donut holes to the apple fritters. They are just extra delicious here! But my favorite part is not the donuts, no. My favorite thing to order here is a sammy....turkey and cheese melted in between a croissant! So simple yet done so well! May thinks I'm crazy because she has a delicious selection of sandwiches but I always stick to my favorite. Let's get down to the nitty gritty...the prices are insanely cheap, they have a large selection, they have tons of different drinks for washing down the donuts or sandwich, and good customer service! My only issue, and it's not even that big of an issue, is they only accept cash. It doesn't really bug me. I just bank w. Navy Fed so it's painful for me to draw out money from the blood sucker banks around this town. Other than that, this place is golden...and usually you can find the town contractor and carpet cleaner just sitting back eating away all morning ... They are fun to talk to and can get you great prices on whatever you need! Don't hesitate. Come here and have yourself a croissant sandwich with some donut holes on the side! read more

Been going here for about 20 years now. Mainly for sandwiches. Galactica is my first choice, never disappoints. Try it on a croissant instead of bread, also great. Good prices and great customer service. read more

My review is based on their business ethics and practice. This donut store caters to small community. That is why I think you should read this and refuse to support a business that accepts cash only! If you pay taxes then the customer should care. I walked in recently to buy my kids donuts and juice. The total was $ 3.80. I handed her my debit card and she said "cash only" I was so surprised. She directed me to an ATM that would charge nemesis $ 3.00 plus my bank fee for using a non-branch ATM. BOTTOM LINE. I support businesses that take all main stream forms of currency. I pay taxes and we should support business that is held accountable just as we are expected to in the USA. If you want cash only go sell swap meet and get out of our shopping center!! I am confident STARBUCKS Would take your spot in a minute! So Donuts Galore... get with the program or get out! read more

Galactica Is always my go to lunch sandwich! but the Jaws is pretty amazing as well! and the staff is nothing but nice!

Who would ever think that a donut shop could ever have the worlds best submarine sandwiches. This family owned donut shop has been owned and operated by same owner for over 25 years. The owner May is very friendly and treats all customers with much respect. You must try their Jaws sandwich and you will see what I'm talking about. How subway can't compare at all. read more

Cheap, pretty fast service, and abso-friken-lutely delicious! Donuts are some of the best in the area, and the pastrami sandwich is to die for. For those subway lovers, tell jared that your sick and make your way over to try some of their "World famous" sandwiches. I hope you like, enjoy! read more

Stopped in to get a water after walking and forgot they are cash only. The owner was like "take it and pay me next time". That amazed me you don't see that kindness now days. Be back tomorrow to pay her and I'll get a bottle of water here each day just because they are so nice. read more

I admit that I came here solely to try the Galactica sandwich after reading the reviews. Honestly, I'm not even a sandwich person! It did not disappoint though...good portion, reasonable price, peppers on top, and the bread tasted very fresh. I'd probably get it again. Since it IS a doughnut shop, I decided to also purchase a doughnut, just a regular glazed doughnut. It was good, not too heavy or greasy. I also got a Thai iced tea, which was ok...not the best but not the worst by far. This place doesn't take plastic, which is slightly inconvenient since I rarely have cash, but the prices are reasonable enough where you may just have enough in your wallet anyway! read more

My husband has been going to this donut shop literally since he was born. He loves their croissants and bagel sandwiches. I of course am the biggest fan of the plain cake donuts, iced coffee, and for lunch you will never go wrong with the tuna sandwich on a roll. Fully load that sandwich with mayo, mustard, olive, oil, salt pepper, pepperchinis, pickles, onion, tomatoes, lettuce, and avocado. Best sandwich around. The prices are low, service is amazing by May and her team, and the food is beyond yummy. You can take it to-go or sit and dine. Cash only, but well worth it. ENJOY! read more

Amazing sandwiches! The Galactic seems to be everyone's favorite, but the pastrami is really good too.

This donut place is a hidden gem. Great donuts, nice service. The donuts are never stall and are mouth watering good. Local favorite.

Grew up around the corner from this place and no matter where else I've gone, no other sandwich will ever taste as good. The friendliest of people and some tasty donuts, to boot... Don't forget it's cash only! read more

I was there today to purchase 4 sandwiches the girl working there happened to be sweeping at the time sorry for walking in at that time she looked very upset I if not get any hello after a few minutes of an awkward moment she finally came behind the counter and says " what do u want ?? I almost turned around and left but I ordered my sandwiches she turns around makes them hands them to me and says here thanks ! No smile no thank you or plain customer service just bad service . I feel like she is forced to work there and doesn't want to be there .. 1 star because sandwich was good ! Don't think will go back !! Jimmy Johns just as good ! read more

Best ham n cheese croissant in the valley. Great service too! Been coming here for years and they always cheer me up. It's a staple in the city of San dimas. read more

My family has been coming here for over 28+ years! The donuts are always fresh, but it is their sandwiches that keep me coming! The Galactica is very very tastey, but everything on the menu is good! I moved out of state, and most of the time i come back home for a visit, i get the craving for one of their sandwiches! read more

I loved this place in high school and still love it 4 years later. The $1.25 bagel w/ cream cheese in the morning is always hot and tender. The sandwiches in the afternoon though are amazing. I was always a fan of the meatball or Jaws but all the others I have tried were just as good. Small, family run places like this aren't around that much anymore, don't go to the new Subway, go here and support local spots. read more
