First and last time visiting this location. We experienced incredibly rude service from the cashier today. First, we were told we weren't allowed to sit at the bench to eat, only for them to reluctantly backtrack and say it was "okay just this once." To make matters worse, the food was a massive disappointment. One of the 3 kolaches and the cream cheese danish were completely stale and tasted several days old--hard as a rock with an off-smell. We will absolutely never be back. There are plenty of other local donut shops nearby that actually deserve our support. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I always drive past this location and finally took the chance this morning. I was pleasantly surprised as they offered croissant kolaches!! I love kolaches and I love croissants, so putting them together?! FANTASTIC. I've never had this before and it won't be my last time! I'm now a huge fan of this spot. The customer service was FANTASTIC as well at 7am! The woman working was extremely pleasant, inviting, & answered all my questions politely. She even threw in 2 donut holes free when I wasn't paying attention! So I was extremely surprised and so grateful. If you saw this place pop up in Yelp, don't pass up trying them out!!! Delicious donuts and awesome service. Shoutout to Donut House for being the ONLY donut place open on Sunday. I felt like every other place in Irving was closed on Sundays so this was huge. I was so excited to have a donut place close by when I moved to the area and this has become my new favorite place to stop after work in the morning. They are SO nice and always throw in a few extra donut holes on the side for free. On more than one occasion I've seen them call out a "regular's" order as soon as they walk through the door. It's really nice to see them have such close connections with the community. The food is on par with what you would expect from any donut shop but always come out warm and fresh! First, I would like to mention that the customer service was not great. They weren't very friendly but I wasn't overly concerned since it was going to be a quick encounter. We ordered a variety of donuts, kolaches and 2 Minute Maid orange juices. I took a sip of the orange juice after we left the store and it tasted weirdly fermented/old. Upon further inspection it has a dark orange hue. At the bottom of the bottle, there were white debris gathering, similar to what you would see in kombucha. I'm 100% it was not pulp. The bottle expired 08/2021. I'm disappointed that this store doesn't pay closer attention to the freshness of food and beverages they're selling. I won't be returning. read more

Great small shop to grab an occasional donut or treat your office/coworkers. I went close to close (12:30pm) on a Friday so the selection was a bit limited but I was shocked to see that they had cheese danishes with a generous ratio of cheese--one of my all time favorite breakfast pastries/donuts. There was good layering in the pastry and the cheese was sweet and tangy. I also gave the chocolate donut holes a try--the batter had a very homemade, tasty flavor that I've rarely found at donut shops and was thankful that they weren't too greasy as they can sometimes be at other places. Though I rarely spring for donuts, this is a good go-to spot in the Irving area an easy drive from Las Colinas and many corporate/small offices. Just bear in mind that they prefer cash for smaller purchases--$4 minimum purchase on credit/debit cards. read more

I just moved in down the street and got a craving for donuts and coffee. I found this gem and knew I hit the jackpot immediately upon entrance. I got a chocolate covered old fashioned donut and a glazed donut. They gave a few extra donut holes too! Everything was delicious (and ate in under 10 mins). The donuts are good, don't get me wrong. They are definitely better than any chain (I.e. Dunkin' Donuts, top pot, etc) and even many local shops, but the service is horrible. The older lady at the counter is insufferably unfriendly and makes you feel as if you being in her store is a huge inconvenience to her. My daughter & I have been in a handful of times & we have never been greeted or gotten a smile. The service is also very inconsistent. Once or twice we've gotten 1-2 donut holes for free with our order, however each time that we did not, we saw other customers get free donut holes. Why are these Donuts so delicious? I just love coming to this place so much! The glazed donuts literally melt in your mouth and the kolaches have a honey glaze on top that is cheat day worthy! They accept debit card and cash but if your order is under $4 cash is required. The restaurant is very clean and offers two tables and 8 chairs. They also have several beverage choices ranging from Starbucks frappuccino, Monster drink, sodas, orange juice and water Parking is a breeze and I love that 7-Eleven is just right next door. The prices are very reasonable. My typical order is two kolaches and a half a dozen donut holes. My total is $3.30. I'm not the biggest donut person but these are SO good! I love Krispy Kreme and these definitely rival that. They are so fluffy! I also tried the croissants which were good, but I wish they were a little more flaky like the traditional French ones. What can I say I'm a bit of a croissant snob tbh. The only downside to this place is that they only accept card charges over $4. Since I wasn't expecting the donuts to be so affordable (under a buck for a glazed), I had to buy extra stuff, causing me to unintentionally go into a carb overload (I'm watching my figure, guys)! Lady cashier never has a smile on her face and gets aggravated when children don't speak loud enough when pointing to their sprinkled donut. I ordered a Blueberry muffin. Got to work to find mold in several places on the Blueberry muffin. These DONUTS make me GONUTS. What separates these donuts from everyone else is that they have a quality to them that makes them seem more like an individually considered baked confection, versus an assembly sugar circle. You can taste the dough in these donuts and they're not overly sweet at all. A really great morning snack or office treat for everyone that won't give you the typical donut sugar crash. So excited to have a place within walking distance. It's so nice and clean and my kids loved getting to stay inside and eat before walking back to our house. They each ordered a sprinkle donut and they each got a couple extra donut holes, which they loved. The kolaches will be the next on our list to try as they look amazing. Good donuts when they're fresh! We had to wait for coffee, but they were very busy. This is our regular convenient donut place!

I am happy and sad this place was "meh" for me. Sad because I can walk to it from my workplace and wanted the convenience, but happy that I didn't like the donuts so I won't ruin my healthy eating by going all the time... The inside of the building is the nicest & cleanest I've ever seen a donut shop be, but the donuts were just not my favorite. The donut holes had hardly any glaze on them and had the texture of bread (no fried texture on the outside), and the vanilla-frosted donut left something to be desired as well.
