    S'mores mini donuts
    Dung N.

My friends said that this vendor was selling churros at the Oktobeerfest event, so we stopped by their booth before we left. Unfortunately, they ran out of churros, so we decided to try their pb & j and s'mores mini donuts instead. I love that the donuts were made to order, so they were hot and fresh! I love anything s'mores, so these were great! Hopefully next time I can try their some of their churros though.

    Donut, Hello.... Hello Donut

HELLO DONUT. Because of you I will never have abs.... I have an obsession with mini things. Even food. Whatever and however, something caught my attention... perhaps it was the DONUT or HELLO in the sign or both "DONUT, HELLO" but it made me say "Hello Donut (can I eat you)". I discovered this little vendor cart at Lane Park... I mean, whats not to love, a quick sugar and carbs intake during a mid-cardio session? I'm lucky, I don't got an issue with that. They fry the donuts infront of you, add the toppings, put it in a sarcastically quoted paper bag, and set you on your merry way. Minis, get in my belly! SUGAR POWDERED DONUTS - kept the order simple. Their donut batter is lovely, it was like cake. Inside was very soft and fluffy and the outside had that nice fried donut texture. And the donuts were not greasy. The powered sugar was a nice touch of sweetness even though I could probably eat them as plain as possible. So thankful for a cute discovery, you have been incorporated into my Sunday route. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I have mini donut baking set at home and made my own mini donuts for yrs, but their mini donuts, definitely made me feel embarrassed I even tried. JABA APPROVED, until the next bite...

I ran into this doughnut vendor at the Lane Field Park Market on Sundays that run from 10 am till 4 pm. They specialize in making mini doughnuts but with a twist because they come with some fine toppings. For example, I had a half dozen of the Nutella Minis and a half dozen of the Home Style Maple Minis for $7. I loved both of them but my favorite was the Nutella Minis. The doughnuts had a light crisp edge and sift warm center. The Nutella tasted great with them, and the powdered sugar and chopped peanuts added to their goodness. The Maple doughnuts came with just enough maple syrup, as to not make them overly sweet but to give that maple affect. They were tasty and the butter and powdered sugar gave them that sense of eating pancakes or French toast. Both minis were great eating with a nice cup of coffee. Thee doughnuts are made on the spot as the order comes in, so their freshness flavors are on point. It's a family owned and run business and everyone is very nice.

I'm a big fan of freshly made mini-donuts. Love their crispy exterior and soft interior. This stand offers a variety of creative toppings to really liven up the game. Smores: A bunch of freshly made mini donuts tossed in cinnamon sugar then covered in flavorful toppings. For this smores option it was chocolate sauce, marshmallow sauce and graham cracker crumble. The marshmallow sauce was particularly disappointing. I was hoping it'd be thick and sticky like fluff, but it was runny like chocolate syrup. Didn't taste or feel very marshmallow-y. The chocolate was ok, more like syrup than hot fudge, but it got the chocolate flavor across. Overall, it was still tasty because it's donuts!

They had a booth at the weekend Bayfront Park festival. The donuts are small but tasty with cinnamon and sugar. Service was fast and friendly. Portion sizes could be larger and some of the donuts weren't coated enough. I prefer traditional large donuts but these were worth a try.

We had Donut, Hello at our wedding during this pandemic. They were ready to push forward and still serve at our wedding. Paolo was so responsive in e-mails and super accommodating. They traveled from San Diego to Westminster for our wedding! His team had masks and face shields on. Also, they added shields on the donut cart for everyone's safety. They cook on site and everyone was able to watch them cook from start to finish. Everyone raved about how delicious all the donuts were! A lot of my guests got all 13 flavors to try! Their donuts are sooooo good. Best decision made! Thank you so much for everything!!

Best churro yet!!! The churros had the perfect texture, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I will definitely come back for the mini donuts!

Churros at a wedding--is there anything more San Diego than that?! I knew early on that I wanted churros to be served at our wedding. Donut Hello fills a unique niche with their thoughtfully decorated cart and presentation. Paolo was easy to work with and arranged for us to taste the churros before committing. He also provided input on logistics and made the planning process easy. Our guests loved the live-action and the fact that the churros were hot and ready on the spot. Finger licking good!

Chocolate Churro Stick & Mini Powdered Sugar Donuts.

Stopped by for a quick treat after a walk. Got a chocolate churro stick & powdered mini donuts. Loved the churro. 10/10. The donuts were good but not my fav. The powdered sugar was liquid and melted on the donut and shaped the texture differently. But taste was good still. Def would stop by here again!

My family and I got a dozen cinnamon sugar and a dozen powdered sugar donuts from this cute vendor on the waterfront of San Diego. It was $7 a dozen which was a good price, and both flavors were delicious and the donuts were warm and sweet. Would definitely recommend trying this vendor out if you ever come to San Diego.

Great spot in an out door park. Not from SD but think is a regular weekend thing. These mini donuts and their flavors were great. Staff were nice and friendly and also sell flavored churro. Kids had the s'mores and dug it. All was made tasty and fresh. Gotta try it, we will next time we are here.

Donut, Hello on site for our teachers and staff as a holiday treat!

This location is inside Bober Tea and Coffee. There is a glass casing with several flavors to choose from and they sell at $3 a piece. The one that stood out to me was the chocolate with sprinkles. Upon receiving it in a paper pocket bag, the icing was rubbing off on the bag. That immediately told me this is super fresh! I could already feel the softness of the donut. The little sectioned off ball looking segments of the donut are also a game changer when it comes to eating - easier to eat without making a mess! The texture was bouncy, soft, lightly chewy and a little stretchy... the texture was fun and I found myself wanting another afterwards. I do wish they had offer other flavors that don't sounds too sweet because the other flavors didn't really catch me. Until the next review...

The fluffiness reminded me more of a beignet and brioche. Will be back to try more flavors! 5/13- We returned for more. These were made to order and topping to dough ratio was too much. Maybe they were being generous, but they were overly sweet today. Bourbon Caramel, Strawberry Shortcake, Lemon, Blueberry Hill, Mango Margarita and Turtle Cheesecake. We picked out two beautiful donuts, the Chocolate Abuelita and the Cajeta. The Cata looked really nice, but was very plain tasting. The Chocolate Abuelita was definitely better and I liked the Mexican hot chocolate cream in the center. I would give this donut shop one more shot, just because of all the great things I've heard about it from people whose opinions I respect.
