The donuts here are excellent--always fresh and delicious. When the owners are at the counter, the overall experience is even better. However, when they're not present, the service quality tends to drop off. A few times I've looked away after ordering, only to find later that my order wasn't correct once I was already down the road. That said, the donuts themselves are still some of the best around. read more

UPDATE: They have new owners and now make regular glazed donuts like all of the other Korean owned shops. I found out it's because the use this cutter, do not to waste the dough. Their donuts don't taste the same. Very sad. My favorite Asian owned/operated donut shop in Little Elm! There are several here and this by far is the closest you'll get to a SoCal type of donut. They even make cronuts! The Bavarian cream is great! The donuts are nice and fluffy! I don't like kolaches (because I'm from Cali- we don't eat that there LOL) but I love their sausage croissant, I think there's cheese in the sausages! They have mini cinnamon rolls I buy by the dozen for my son, that's his favorite! The only thing I don't like there is the Thai iced tea boba, it's just a preference. read more

I had ubereats deliver to my hotel room. I ordered a dozen donut holes, two chocolate glazed donuts, a ham, and cheese on croissant, and 3 sausage kolache's. Ham and cheese were okay. A bit plain compared to others I have had at French bakeries, even a few Japanese bakeries/delis. Donuts weren't bad, but I've had way better mouth watering donuts. That being said, not all were bad. We liked the Kolaches. I liked them so much that I got some at the airport Duncan donuts at dfw. They were ick compared to Donut Box kolaches. Would I ever go back when I'm in town? Probably not. I'd try others in the area first. read more

I haven't been here in months, let alone had a donut in months and I came in today... I was so excited to have some donuts again and When I finally got it, i was extremely disappointed. (You guys don't understand how much I fought myself not to have a donut or sweets in a very long time) ... I was so appauled! The glazed donuts tasted like they're a week or 2 old. What happened? Well, maybe it's a good thing 'cause I won't be craving donuts for a long while after these. We frequent Donut Box because my 4 year old loves the donuts with the princess rings/figurines. The staff is friendly, and even when they're busy I can get in and out within a couple of minutes. Great food! I went about a month ago and ordered a jalapeño kolache and a glazed cinnamon twist, and the lady added some extra mini cinnamon rolls in there which were also good! I only wish the kolache had cheese in it, but that's my fault for not asking. Also I like mine spicy, so more jalapeño! But overall still good. Will definitely come back. read more

Classic donuts are high quality, and they got some really creative looking donuts that I feel to guilty to try but when they look that good I'm sure they are. but I think what sets them apart is service. Toll my son here today for the first time, and he loved it. They have a huge selection of specialty donuts and an assortment of breakfast pastries. They even have frosted waffles, which kids would love!! They also have bubble tea, which my kids love and an assortment of different flavors. I had the mini cinnamon roll and chocolate donut holes. They were great!! They were super moist and did not leave that greasy feeling on the roof of your mouth like most donuts. It is very clean, and the staff is super friendly. read more

My wife and I come here almost every Sunday and there's a reason for that. Delicious, consistent, and cheap products. We always get the donuts and kolaches and there hasn't been a single time we haven't enjoyed what we bought. I really don't have much to say because, well, there's not much to say about donuts lol. However, although I give this place five stars, there ARE at least two things that could be improved. Service is curt and to the point, so perhaps it could be friendlier or more engaging if I had to comment on it. The other thing, and it's a small thing, it would be nice if they had Apple Pay etc. Definitely check this place out some morning. read more

This place has a lot of variety! They have mini kolaches, perfect for my 18 month old niece! Their they have a lot of meat $ cheese choices. My sister got their iced ginger tea and liked it a lot. The place is small and cozy. A lot of people got there. I wish all of their donuts had signs on them though only some did. read more

Awesome selection. I never expected to see things like this so far north. Very friendly staff, I'll definitely go back (no way I could get one of everything we wanted to try in one visit - and we're three adults and two kids). The cronuts are amazing and seriously... Glazed waffles!! Very unique combos of toppings (Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Pebbles, Crème brûlée donut, Princess rings, Hello Kitty, toy cars, the list goes on and on). This little gem down the street from our house is a huge blessing. I can't get enough of their creme brûlée donuts, fresh strawberry and Nutella cronuts and fresh cream and berry cronuts. I also had a breakfast sandwich from there this morning--sausage, bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant and it was delish. Go support their business! So yummy! read more

Went here for some snacks before a shooting trip. Donuts were great. Good donut holes. Breakfast sandwiches...not so much. Center of sandwich was cold, outside was luke warm. I threw it out at a gas station. It would be really nice if they had at least one employee that could speak fluent english, but it isn't that hard to convey what you want in a donut shop.. read more

Dount Box is one of the BEST donut shops that I have ever eaten at. There are a variety of custom donuts and their famous "cronut" with various topics. The prices are very reasonable compared to other local shops. I will never go anywhere else (unless forced) for donuts. My favorites thus far are: Red Velvet Cake donut, Mini Kolaches, Strawberry Cronuts, and their Sprinkled Donut Holes. Arrive early if you want to get cronuts on the weekend. These donuts... THESE donuts are amazeballs. The donut holes are probably the best I ever had. Perfect amount of glaze, they're fat and fluffy and bring you all the fat happiness your heart desires. I believe Donut Box has the best donuts in the area. The people that work there are all really nice. It seems to have become quite a popular place because when I went in there today, the line was almost out of the door, but it moved very quickly. There was one person keeping the donuts socked, two people filling orders, and one person at the register... very efficient. The donuts are delicious! They have a large variety of donuts (standard varieties (chocolate, glaze) and not so standard (bacon, etc.)), cronuts, other pastries, and breakfast meats in croissants/buns. Came here on Sunday morning at 8am. They were almost sold out on everything! At least we got to try the maple bacon donut. It was delicious! We also tried the sausage jalapeño and sausage minis. The kids loved those. The chocolate donut holes were a little dry. Mothwatering and the crispness of the bacon melts in your mouth. Returned on Thursday morning and they had a Fantastic variety. This time I also tried the cronut. It was mouthwatering. A cronut is a cross between a croissant and a donut. It was cooked just right, not to greasy, topped with chocolate and strawberries. Donuts galore! There were so many to choose from and I was able to find a donut for every member of my family based on their preferences. I value places that not only care about the taste of their products, but the presentation. I have been to many donut places in my life time, but it is hard to find a place that isn't a chain that is clean, visually appealing and has a wide selection of donuts. Some places had amazing donuts, but the place was grimy or the presentation of the donuts left something to be desired. This place is really clean and the people are friendly. We were in the area and decided to stop. There is a big selection of donuts as well as breakfast sandwiches and kolaches. We only got donuts but they were really delicious. They were soft and light and didn't leave us feeling groggy or give us that oily feeling afterwards. The line wraps around the building which looks promising however, they missed the mark on flavor. If you want pretty pictures and social media "likes" this is the place to go but if you want incredible tasting food i would suggest finding another place. We decided to come here on my birthday since I've been wanting to try it for over a year now but never wanted to deal with the long wait. After a 45 minute wait we finally got the text that our table was ready. We promptly made our way through the rest of people waiting and got inside for the host to tell us we were past our 5 minute window so our table was gone but they would go ahead and sit us somewhere else. I explained we were right outside and came in as soon as we got the notification and even shown them the time stamp on my message that was only 3 minutes ago. The 3 minutes was the time it took for us to fight through the crowd and actually get inside. Where they ended up seating us was incredibly cramped and the whole time we felt like we were completely in the way of the servers or had people walking by brushing against us or nearly knocking stuff off our table. I started with the seasonal tiramisu latte, it was beautifully presented but very awkward to drink with all the garnishes. Once i got to the actual drink it tasted like your standard pot coffee, not espresso, and the layering was terrible. The coffee at the bottom was still hot while the milk of top was cold. I tried mixing it up and all that did was melt the ice leaving me with a watered down bland tasting latte that was luke warm. Next, i got the birria burrito with rosemary potato's. Similarly when it came out it was beautifully plated. Upon tasting, it was the most bland and unseasoned burrito I've ever had. My wife got the lemon curd french toast, unfortunately it was not as picture perfect as there was a hair on the plate when it came out. She also mentioned that the french toast needed more flavor, only the top piece had any lemon on it leaving the remaining 2 slices completely bare and boring. Our server was incredibly nice and accommodating, when we got our check she asked if it was our first time, which it was, so she asked how we liked everything. I mentioned that it was alright but a bit under-seasoned to which she replied that they have received several complaints about under seasoning but that everyone has different taste and therefore they season everything lightly. Based on that, it seems like their chef has different taste than everyone else and that taste is bland. It's disappointing that they hit all the marks except the most important one, flavor. I think this place could be incredible if they would just added more salt to everything and season their food appropriately. I understand some people have different taste, but if your getting consistent feedback that the food is lacking flavor, maybe you should try and fix it. Pictures and decor will only get a restaurant by for so long before the trends move on.

First, its inside of a Kroger, so even if you are just shopping, you can stop by and lounge for a while prior to going home. Plenty of seating, as well as products to choose from with at least 3-4 separate kiosks around the barista stand. There is also outdoor seating, where there is even a grill handy (I'm sure this is just for Kroger mainly, but who cares?). And then of course my favorite, the mounted flat screen television over the barista stand for your enjoyment. And oh yes, the customer service is excellent. The baristas are about as chill as a Steel City Pop on a July metroplex day. There is anywhere between 1-2 baristas at this location, so if you find yourself in a line of folks with just one barista present, just relax your mind for a few. And while you are at it, check out the sushi & soup stand directly behind you if you want to grab something to go with your Starbucks beverage. While not a part of Starbucks (strictly Kroger), its still a pretty convenient thing to have, especially if you are on a lunch break or other. One of the best Starbucks-grocery store set up that I've ever seen. Completely blows the type of setup seen at any Tom Thumb, Safeway (for those up north), and SuperTarget.

The Donut Box is fairly new and it's most definitely the BEST little donut shop in our town and the surrounding ones! They have a very generous variety of different types of donuts and breakfast sandwiches and the best part: THEY FILL THE CREAM AND JELLY INTO THE DONUTS RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES!! They have a brilliant machine right there on the counter and aren't stingy with fillings! The bacon maple donut is out of this world!! As are ALL of the cream and fresh fruit topped "cronuts" they have. It's also EXTREMELY clean and the people that serve us are always very sweet and pleasant. OMG I WISH THEY WERE OPEN RIGHT NOW!!
