I found their combo with two kids burgers so satisfying for the desire of a time when that company we don't visit anymore had reasonable prices. I was happy to pay Butcher's prices because it was so much better than even the memories of those other burgers were. But the real reason I HAD to write this glowing review is that we also got the onion rings. These onion rings are the best damn onion rings I've ever had. I got full on the burgers and fries and first helping of rings. Then a few hours later I polished off the rest of the rings. This place is a jewel you should not miss, especially if you need a break from seafood.

Too much lettuce, making it look like there is more lobster inside than there is, but that's probably why it was $27 and not $34. The bun was a little too greasy for me as well. Fried pickles- 5/5 SO good! Added the chipotle ranch and that was perfect with them. Very yummy! Parmesan fries- 5/5 also great! Grilled cheese- pretty good and only $6! Great deal. I also really enjoyed my Chardonnay. All in all, I'd go back! The service was really friendly and helpful as well, making me want to go back for that alone.

The food was so flavorful, quickly prepared, and very creative with its presentation. Local sourcing and very high-quality ingredients. The service was on point, the ambiance was warm and relaxing, and the value was more than reasonable. The same meal in Portland would have easily cost forty percent more. I wish I had taken pictures of the meal, but I was tired and hungry and just forgot. My burger and fries were spot on. The fries stayed crispy from the beginning to the end. The burger meat was fresh and very tasty. The dessert was next level, and I did get a picture before eating it, lol. Whether you stay at the hotel or not, City Farmhouse is always an excellent choice.

The improvements to the outdoor space have made dancing more fun and the seating outside of the tent is great. The indoor space is pretty cool too, lots of music memorabilia. We recently ordered parmesan truffle fries, falafel, a salad and the special bang-bang shrimp. The falafel was delicious, served on a fluffy grilled pita finished with a great tahini lemon sauce. The garden salad was fresh and crisp with homemade vinegarette. I'm not sure if the fries are hand cut, but they tasted like it, with lots of parm. I'm not a beer drinker, so I'll leave the beer reviews to everyone else. But the FOOD? YES. I had the grilled chicken Caprese sandwich and added a side of fries with their fancy sauce. That fancy sauce deserves its own moment. One of the things I really love about Bissell Brothers is the space and the vibe. There's outdoor dining, a bar area to the right that's 21+, and a family-friendly dining area to the left.
