By far the worst experience I've had with a contractor. They left my house looking like a war zone…read more No concern for my property and didn't even finish their job. Just cut trees and either pushed them into a space or left them where they fell. All while not even caring about the environment around them. They even dropped trees/branches on my cable and telephone line (Thank God I don't use them) and then just left the wires laying on my yard and left for good. 1 star for actually cutting some trees down, but it's hard to give any type of positivity to this review with what I have to deal with now.

Paul Kallmeyer of Acer Tree Service did a wonderful, meticulous, timely job in removing six trees…read morefrom our property as well as trimming back overgrown smaller trees and underbrush. The result was an open, neater landscape with a lot more sunshine and space for the long unused vegetable garden. He arrived when he said he would to review the work. As we walked around the property he listened to what I wanted, made very good suggestions for things I had not considered and gave me a feeling of confidence that he knew the subject matter. He and his team arrived precisely on time the day of the removal. They trimmed, cut and wood chipped all the trees in a very orderly fashion which made me feel the job was always under control. When they were finished Paul and I briefly walked around to review the results. Excellent work! Hardly a leaf or twig left on the ground and a new, beautiful, bigger backyard! Thank you Paul and team!

This business is aka "Hillcrest Landscape and Tree Removal" owned by Michael Lindsay. Hill…read moreLandscape and Hillcrest Landscape is basically the same business with the same owner, but the owner just uses a different name on Yelp to dodge the bad reviews he has on the Hillcrest page. https://yelp.to/5FaW-DyC5T Terrible customer service. Originally gave me a quote, and provided me with his "insurance", but never called me back and hasn't returned my phone calls. I believe the insurance he provided was for lawn care, and wasn't designed to cover tree removal; and when I asked about this he stopped returning my calls. In our last conversation he implied he would have the insurance confirm it was for tree removal after the weekend on the first business day, but as it turns out, now he's ghosting me. Made me waste a week thinking I found a company to do the work I required. I could have spent that time looking for a company that could do the work. Basically multiple reviews for his former business echo this sentiment. This is why he renamed his business from Hillcrest to Hill.
