I don't typically leave reviews, but the best mechanics in the AV. I've been to others and a lot operated under the facade of being super nice but are actually screwing you. Super super knowledgeable and really fast. I was very surprised when they did my timing belt in less than two days on my tundra. Prices are super fair as well and they are honest. I'm a woman that came here because two women I trusted told me how honest and great they were. And, to me, they were so right. I got unbelievable great service. My truck runs like a dream now. And, I was told by other mechanics that I needed this and that. Totaling nearly a thousand dollars. Jason went through my truck and figured it out and was spot on. I did not need the stuff I was recommended before, as he went through it with a fine tooth comb. He found the issues that made my engine light, "light up" & that was such a money saver. I totally thought it was going to cost so much more, and thought the other people were right. But, nope. These people are the most honest mechanics I've known since my grandfather. I swear. I came in to get a driver side motor mount replaced on my 2014 Challenger and the dealership was charging an arm and three legs to get that work done there, but this shop gave me an excellent price. Tony is a brilliant mechanic and a highly creative artist. He is the 5th mechanic to help my 1964 Classic car. He is honest and competent and made my car safe to drive to Los Angeles now. Tony knows how to fix a vintage car. He has worked on cars since the 70's, and has handled many from earlier eras. Also, when you visit, ask to see his beautiful paintings and 3-D art work! His expressive art is wonderful and astounding. I'm grateful to have finally taken my classic car to Tony. Had I started at his shop, I'm certain I would not have had as many driveability issues. While others wanted to sell me an engine rebuild, Tony recognized right away that it was the carburetor. He skillfully took it apart in front of me and explained what was going on. On 7/16/19, my girlfriend and I were in an accident on our Harley, in the area of Running Springs. One of the kind men who helped us after the accident was a local, and recommended "Don's Auto, Inc.," telling us they were good people, who would take good care of us. On his recommendation, we called Don's and headed off in the ambulance, to get our wounds tended to. On the 19th, we contacted our insurance and made arrangements to have our motorcycle brought home. I cannot adequately describe my shock and disbelief when I was informed that we would have to settle almost $600 in tow charges, before they would release our motorcycle. SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS!! for a tow, and three days' storage. Needless to say, I do not think the people at Don's Auto are good people, or that they took good care of us. I think they saw people in a situation they could take advantage of, and did so. I attempted to resolve matters over the phone. They were rude and argumentative. They refused to work with me at all. At this point, I am considering filing criminal charges. I do not, and will not ever recommend Don's Auto, and will post this to as many places as I can, to warn people away from these dishonest jerks! read more

These are great, they checked the car and although the car was leaking these checked it all out and discovered it might not be as bad. They did a quick silicon patch and asked me to drive it around and see what happens first. NO CHARGE! read more

Have use them twice already and felt they deserve a great review. First time was an AC fix and they even use the Pump I had found/purchased before I found out the amount of work involved. Very fast turnaround and a great cost compared to the Dealership. Second time was for a transmission problem. Again a great price and and fast turnaround. They were able to figure out the problem without having to resort to just calling it a loss and proposing a whole new transmission. Will definitely be using Don's again. read more
