They did a day later and I had a very good experience. I also learned from a sign in the waiting room that they are in the midst of updating their back office systems (not previously disclosed to me). It's not a walk in the park and the second time was more harsh than the second and yes there is aftercare -- lots of eye drops! The procedures were about a half hour each. The actual cutting was just a minute or two. It's far more strange than painful. Then it's over. It's only a day or so before you're able to do things again which really isn't bad considering the benefits. However, it's been 3 years now and it still is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Dr. Wasserman is INCREDIBLY kind, steady, patient, and knowledgeable. His staff is quick to remedy any issues that come up. I've been going back for eye checkups there ever since. Office is clean. Wait times are reasonable. Location is perfect. I've sent my friends there for checkups and Lasik consultations and they've had good experiences as well. HIGHLY, highly, highly recommend!

When she wasn't cooperating (because she's just over a year old and had been waiting for over an hour) he was getting more and more frustrated, stopped the exam, told me nothing was wrong and to try again in 3-4 months the when my daughter was a bit more cooperative. As background, I had PRK laser surgery ~5 years ago, and find it important to ensure everything continually looks fine. After moving cross-country, I needed to find a new ophthalmologist and Dr. Feldman was recommended by a friend. This was my first visit to Dr. Feldman and he provided one of the most thorough and informative eye exams I have ever had. He was very caring and had a good sense of humor, and most importantly explained things very clearly, using layman's terms and not just medical terminology. I was also impressed that he used an ipad to show me diagrams of the eye and help illustrate things visually! To top it off, the staff at Mercer Eye was also very courteous and professional, my appointment started on time, and the facility was clean. An overall great experience. I will definitely be back.

Long story short, they did the repair quickly and free of charge even without verifying he bought them there. We were both happily surprised. I might not have written about this had I not see these techs( for lack of the precise word) interact with others here who were purchasing new glasses. One gentleman went out of his way to help the parents of a young boy get the right frames( indestructible I guess?) for an active lad, and even helped navigate the insurance aspects. Then I went online to order and you need a PD to fill the prescription (which is the bridge of your nose distance) I called office because that was not listed on my script. They said they didn't take that measurement and I would have to go to somewhere to get it taken. They take most insurance plans.
