It was $100 for the whole vehicle or $80 for just the front which I called for. They did a great job and I got my vehicle back before the kids got out of school to get them picked up. The family of my childhood went to the latter. Before Wisser's expanded, he had gas pumps, so we bought our gas and got our car repairs there. Now, with more than double the bays, Wisser's is where my mother still gets her cars serviced. Rick and Jill own and run the repair shop. Rick's father, Dick, was the face of the business when I was a young driver, and I was conflicted about him. An excellent auto mechanic, he presented as a no nonsense man of few words, so I was scared to death of him. Rick is his equal as a mechanic and much less taciturn. His wife, Jill, handles the books. (As a side note, as of today's date, there are 4 earlier reviews that Yelp's algorithm has seen to exclude - see below - and they are worth reading.)

He went on a test drive with me after the work was completed and adjusted a few things and topped off the oil for free. I was about to walk out of the store with my purse still laying on the ground and one of his employees stopped me and asked "hey miss is that your purse?" Wow! Just wow!!! I regret I can't give them six or seven stars. I regret we didn't stumble on Furr's earlier (because in our youth we did run into a couple of other car repair businesses in town that took advantage of our inexperience and naivete). But I don't regret the entirely selfish hope that the owner - who is getting on in years - lives and works 'til he is 150 so we don't ever have to look for a new repair shop.

My husband had had a stroke and was not able to be a part of the process. My son purchased…read morea 2017 Ford Escape for 13000 dollars with a Level 3 warranty that cost an additional 2600 dollars. 8 months later the car had to be towed to the dealership for the entire dashboard being lit up in red telling him to turn the car off immediately. It was a coolant sensor which cost $466.00 to repair with the additional extended warranty, so he paid it. A month later the check engine light came on again so he bought a code scanner and found out it was a misfire in cylinder 1 so he took it back to their service department to be fixed but the service rep listened to the engine running and told him it could be the spark plug and the coil pack. He told him it would cost a lot more for West Point to fix it and it would be cheaper to fix himself. So he did. A month later the check engine light came on again. He finally had to take it in to their service department to look at because the car would not accelerate on the highway. They told us it would be 2 weeks before they could even look at it, so he left it hoping they would look at it sooner if someone cancelled. Surprise. We had to call them after 3 weeks to find out what was wrong with the car. My son was told the head gasket was a bust and it would be too much time to repair and they couldn't get parts for 2 months. The best option was to replace it with a used engine that had 78,000 miles on it for 7100 dollars. They handed me an invoice for 10,644 dollars in order to repair the car, but said that wasn't the cost! We confronted Jason about selling stripped down warranties where important boxes on page 4 were not checked and he said that would have been a surcharge. We never even saw those boxes at the time of sale nor did we have the surcharge option. I asked the service department to produce denial paperwork for the repairs and I asked the warranty company to produce denial paperwork. I still haven't gotten it and that was more than 2 weeks ago. In a nut shell, they sold us a car they knew had these issues because there is literally a class action law suit brought against Ford for this very problem and probably used a sealant like KSeal to hide the problem for a while, sold us a stripped down DOWC (which stands for dealer owned warranty company) and then basically told us there was nothing they could do about it and pretty much they didn't care. In addition their service department guy wanted to assault my fiancé in the parking lot and then called the police on us. The Better Business Bureau has been contacted and a complaint has been filed along with a complaint to the Michigan department of the Attorney General.
