Joyce loving and expertly placed clams, shrimp (enormous!) , corn on the cob, sausage, potatoes, celery, in a large steamer pot, along with bread on the side. Plenty of food! She is an incredible chef. The ingredients she purchases are all of the highest quality as she has been in business for decades delighting parties of all sizes as evidenced by fabulous reviews. All you have to do is speak with Joyce and you know you are dealing with someone who cares about you, your guests, your event and overall experience. THANK YOU JOYCE!!!!

DO NOT USE. Joyce…read morewas disjointed from the moment we booked. We booked a venue which she controls (colts neck, NJ) and told her we wanted her to cater. 2 weeks prior to the date we contacted her asking when she needed to know the catering details and she told us she wasn't catering. We have text messages proving that we told her she was, and that she agreed previously. After scrambling to find catering, she was extremely difficult with the whole venue. We were charged for linens, half of which had holes burned in to them or were extremely dirty - we asked for new ones or discounted (10 dollars per linen) and were told no. On the day of, the soda dispensers (the only thing that comes with the venue other than the space itself) were quite literally ALL out of syrup. It took an hour into the party for there to be any sodas, and by the time we got it running the guests complained about the sulfur smell/taste and I had to get soda delivered anyway. Throughout the whole process Joyce was extremely rude, forgetful, and short. I never write reviews...but this was such a horrendous experience that I feel I need to. Never book this company, ever.

Mike was always quick with responses in the utmost professional manner and was very personable. Working in the restaurant industry for over a decade, I was very very impressed by the staff and their attention to detail and being so helpful. They also made sure the bride & groom ate! The day goes by so quick, sometimes you just forget to really sit down! We opted with a buffet style dinner and we did add a PIG ROAST to our menu, which we highly recommend. Mike was carving the pig to order and had a variety of bbq and hot sauces for people to choose from. The presentation was epic & that piggy pig pig.. everyone was talking about it for days! We also had some leftovers that the staff wrapped up for us.. mmmm :) Twin Oaks handled dietary restrictions wonderfully, as when we were first getting into planning we were the most nervous about. This wedding was the ultimate test: Bride having Celiacs (gluten intolerance) & a dozen guests were vegan. Mike made sure every menu was properly labeled (even double checked labels to make sure everyone could read them properly) & everyone was fed, with vegan guests getting their own meal. Overall, I would recommend Twin Oaks to anyone looking to have an exciting meal on their big day with great staff to back it up! Thank you so much Twin Oaks for making our Wedding Day even more spectacular! No wonder you have been in business for 33 years, you really know how to do it right! :) Love, Lisa & Mike

My mom is a phenomenal cook and my sister, whom I adore with all my heart, I know is secretly judging me. Lol. We like to one up each other when it comes to hosting. Not wanting to cook everything this year, I decided for the first time to cater some of the food. It was not easy looking for a catering service in my area. I did not have much to go with. What made me choose this place was solely based on the business's photos and their great menu selection. And the prices seemed very reasonable. Here is what we ordered: - Beef Stew Latin Style - Wild Baked Salmon Over Spinach (winner) - Chicken Francaise - Seafood Pasta over Linguine All half trays and I appreciate that they included serving utensils. Portions were generous and the food was restaurant quality, delicious, tasty and perfectly seasoned. Everyone loved it. Once you place the order online, it is best to call or follow up with an email to confirm the items ordered, price and pickup date and time. I highly recommend this catering company. Happy Thanksgiving to all my Yelp family!

Decided to make replacements without telling me because they didn't have the ingredients on hand, apparently. Then, they wanted to upcharge me for stuff I didn't order. All of my guests felt extremely awkward.

They made sure that all our needs were met and that we had a great night. The decor was classy and very homey. One of the long benches they had reminded me of my uncle's back in his home in Laguna, Philippines. The food was exceptional. Everything was cooked perfectly. They didn't lessen the flavors to cater to the "American" palette. We were really full by the end of the night. This spot is really worth visiting. Go check them out if you're in the neighborhood.

Cozy and unpretentious, it's a small business and a true hidden gem. The moment we set foot in the door, we were warmly greeted by Paul, the extraordinary host and husband of the chef, Maricel. Upon seeing our reservation via OpenTable, he noticed we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. He gave us the most romantic table in the house. Megan quickly came out to take our order. We were deciding, and she mentioned they have Benguet coffee. As it was freezing outside, it was perfect as we looked through the menu. The Benguet coffee came out in a French Press. Benguet coffee is a single-origin coffee that grows in the Northern part of the Philippines. We tasted notes of chocolate, berries, and nuts. Intoxicating!! Pandesal, Filipino bread with accompanying butter, came out with the coffee. These are truly melt-in-your-mouth, as when you first break it, the crispy outer layer gives way to a soft and fluffy center. Heavenly!! We decided upon their Kamayan Tower, which is a 4-tier is like a Filipino celebration of food, all brought together and giving you a tasting banquet at your table. The top tier was the appetizers, where crispy Lumpia and Siomai (Filipino version of Shumai) lay. The second tier consisted of Pork Sisig, Chicken Inasal, and Pancit Bihon. The Pork Sisig was my absolute favorite as it was a symphony of rich and savory flavors. My husband loved the Chicken Inasal, as the flavor profile is smoky, tangy, and savory-sweet. The following tier held many delights, but what stood out from that tier were Chicken Adobo, the perfect ratio of soy and vinegar marinade, and the crispy Whole Fried Tilapia. Excellent combination of crispy skin and moist and flaky inside. Last but not least, the final tier had many stars, but what stood out for us was Beef Kaldereta and Inihaw Na Liempo. The primer is a stew with vegetables, potatoes, and tender beef. Slow-braised in tomato-based sauce, giving us hearty and comfy feelings. The latter is grilled pork belly, where the smoky and sweet flavors come together. Just when we were finished, Megan brought out a plate of desserts, and Paul gave us two flutes of champagne to celebrate. The food was all phenomenal, as was the service. Chef Maricel herself came out to greet us, and we talked about how these dishes were prepared. She has a full staff prepping for the dishes and truly tries to replicate the flavors of her grandmother's cooking from Manila. Both she and Paul were in the cooking school where they first met, and we laughed at how we first met our spouses. The place is a hidden gem, and Chef Maricel wisely chose her signage to be huge black lettering on a white, lit-up background so that passing cars can see her restaurant as they drive by. Plenty of parking as they share a parking lot in the strip mall. If you are looking for great Filipino cuisine where they treat you like family, this is the place. The place is not huge, so I strongly recommend people make their reservation via OpenTable. Chef Maricel also mentioned they offer cooking lessons during the weekdays, except for Friday evening, and they also serve Classic Filipino brunch towers on weekends. Sign. Me. Up!!

I pay cash for everything upfront so who ever picks up the order only needs the receipt. First time they were right on the mark. The food was excellent, and trays were ready at the time promised. Second time 2 sides were missing and I needed to wait for them to make the sides about 45 minutes. Guests were arriving at my house and I was waiting for food. But these things do happen unfortunately. However, the third time there was no excuse. Christmas Eve. Ordered the food and paid for it 2 weeks before. Customers were lined up in the parking of the building they were renting and down the block. It seems as though he had high school kids bringing the orders out who didn't have a clue as to what they were doing. My pick up was 3 o'clock. They didn't call my name for 2 hours after continually being promised that I am next. Finally my order was ready. I squeezed through the crowd to place my order in the car to go home. After arriving home with my guests arriving, I realized this time I was again missing 2 items from my order. So I returned to tell them and I was informed they must have given it away. And my response was to make up my 3 orders. Now the crowd outside was growing and people's orders were being given to the wrong people. Mine was finally ready after many inquiries. Got home by 6:45. Since then, the owner closed up shop and moved elsewhere, and then again moved and so on. It's a shame as the food from this caterer was really very good and he would have had a great catering business in town. But he blew it big time. My advice is to stay away from this caterer no matter his promises or price, whatever town he has landed in now. Seems as though he is running from something.............

Appetizers consisted of steamed muscles, fried calamari and bacon wrapped dates. There was also a platter with fresh fruits and mellon slices, cheeses and crackers. All so good. They served a wonderful buffet. This is the first time I can remember wanting to try everything just based on the looks. So I piled a plate high with a Cesar salad with the perfect amount of dressing, a loaded rigatoni pasta salad, broiled potatoes, sliced roast beef with a dark thick au jus and horseradish sauce, a excellent rollatini, vegetables and assortment of bread. Culinary Classics Catering hit one out of the park by my standards. Don't use anyone else for your next catered affair.
