Don and Kate made us look good!
    Oren G.

Let me just say that I hate having my photo taken, and don't care for posing for pictures. With that out of the way, let me tell you... Don and Kate Lee are totally awesome. I just got married. Unbeknownst to me at the time I proposed to my wife, apparently part of the wedding process is taking a series of engagement pictures, a wholly separate experience from the wedding itself. Much to my chagrin, the engagement picture piece was one of the things my wife was most looking forward to. So I told myself to suck it up, and promised her I would do my best to enjoy myself. Well, with Don and Kate Lee there, the fun just happened. They actually made the photo-sessions enjoyable, and I think they totally appreciate my willingness to get totally madcap with my poses. I believe Don and Kate are more used to working within the Korean community, so I think they enjoyed having a Chinese/Jewish couple to play around with, for a change. After a while, everyone loosened up and had a great time. Oh, and the photos were fantastic. If Don and Kate Lee can make a beat-up old hairy bastard like me look good, they MUST have some magic up their sleeves. And without PhotoShop, even! My friends and family love the pictures when they see them. Don and Kate really managed to capture the best of both me and my fiancée/wife. Every picture oozed with happiness and love (and occasionally zaniness). Their composition was fantastic, and their sense of narrative was fresh. Don, Kate, and Eren (their assistant/translator) were all very patient with us with everything (especially as we all were waiting for my fiancée's multiple costume changes!), and Don had a particularly good sense of whimsy. Both my wife and I are totally pleased with Don and Kate Lee. If you have a wedding or other special event coming up, I highly recommend taking a look at Don Lee Studios for all your photography needs.

Don is amazing!!!! I had met Don at a previous friend's wedding couple years back and I knew I had to work with him for my own wedding. Not only is he super talented, but he's such a sweet and friendly person that he makes you feel so comfortable when taking pictures. That's extremely important! Also he's very well known around the community so when you look at his work, you immediately know Don's style and you can trust him that he'll make you look good in pictures. :) We received so many compliments on our Engagement photos, and now we can't wait to receive the wedding photos! Our wedding was a week ago and we were honestly sad to say bye to Don and his team after the wedding. He is such a pleasure to work with and you'll be amazed how talented this guy really is!

Don lee was very nice, kind and professional. When I saw his porto polio, I knew he was the one I would select. P.S Also, manager Kate was very nice to us :)

Surprised there isn't more reviews!! My fiance and I usually do not take pictures so initially we were extremely nervous about the idea of an engagement photoshoot...We were nervous right up until we met Don Lee at our photoshoot site! Don is so experienced. He gave us great direction, so much that the photoshoot was a breeze! He is really talented and knows how to create beautiful photography. He was a great person to work with and we were thrilled when we received our pictures. I truly recommend him to everyone. Photography is one of the most important parts of a wedding, pictures are what my fiance and I will remember us by and Don nailed it for us. Thank you Don Lee!!!

The photos turned out so good--they honestly look like they were taken by a professional photographer! The best part is that we took them ourselves using a remote, so we could press the button whenever we were ready to pose. It made the whole experience feel so relaxed and fun! They also have different photo booths you can use inside, and you can even turn your favorite photos into adorable keychains. Such a cute keepsake! We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back on our next visit (:

There are plenty of TikTok videos demonstrating directions though. It does get quite busy throughout the holiday season, so I would anticipate a wait if you are interested in coming then. As of July 2026, they had 2 classic backdrop rooms (1 pink and 1 blue), 1 with a star-designed backdrop which produced a transparent film, and 2 vintage booths in one room. The classic backdrop rooms is super spacious, so it is great for large parties. The 2 vintage booths were similar to those of 'Booth by Bryant,' but the lighting is so much better and you are able to see yourself as you are taking the photos. The classic backdrop cost $5/ 2 strips whereas the vintage photo booths cost $6/ 2 strips. You also have the option of paying an additional $15 to make an XL strip and this is one of many customization options.

We stopped by on a weekday in the late afternoon and practically had the place to ourselves. Another family arrived shortly after, but it was still very relaxed and easygoing. The process was super simple. You can make a reservation, but we just walked in without any issues. We did the white background setup for 15 minutes, which was perfect and definitely a must if you're taking photos with little kids. There were a few technical difficulties during our session, but the staff member was incredibly accommodating. He paused the timer and gave us those minutes back so we didn't lose any of our shoot time. The pricing is great too! The package includes 2 people and 3 printed 4x6 photos of your favorite shots. Additional people are only $5 each, but they didn't charge us for our toddler or newborn, which was such a nice surprise. One of the best parts is that you get access to download every single digital photo from your session, not just a select few. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and ended up with so many great family photos. definitely considering coming back for another shoot

The photo studio is located inside AR Galleria (the main galleria entrance was locked on Sunday afternoon so I had to enter through the side door via Cafe Lowell). [Parking]: Easy and free parking in the large plaza. [Reservation]: I was able to call and book a same-day reservation on Sunday. Visitors can also make an online reservation via the studio's website. Upon arrival, I scanned a QR code and signed a waiver before the owner started my 5-minute photo session. [Price]: $27 for 4 physical copies and digital copies to download via email (must be downloaded within 7 days). I did not initially receive an email, but I emailed the owner the next day about the download link and he sent a follow-up email with the link within a few hours (the email was hidden in my spam folder). The email included all the pictures taken during the session. The shop also makes photo keychains ($4+ each). The studio also offers 15-minute and 30-minute self-portrait sessions. [Studio]: While I was here for a passport photo, the studio mainly operates as a self-portrait studio where customers take photos of themselves. This small studio has all the props and camera setup needed to make it happen. [Process]: The owner had me sit on a chair and took 7 pictures. Out of the 7 pictures taken, I was able to choose one for him to print while the rest of pictures can be downloaded via a link in an email. It was more important to receive a digital copy because the US passport renewal process requires applicants to upload a digital photo rather than submit a physical copy. I was able to use one of the digital copies and now that same picture will be on my passport for the next 10 years before the next renewal timeline. [Conclusion]: Overall it was an efficient process and I was able to walk in and out within 15 minutes. However, it would be helpful for the studio to provide additional entry instructions on the website when the main galleria entrance is locked.

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look
