Raphael is very professional and a pleasure to work with. My phone was acting up, and he took a lot of care to make sure everything got fixed. I loved getting my phone fixed by a competent person without leaving my house . read more

Excellent service at a very good price. Raph replaced my iPhone 6 screen in about 20 minutes as we hung out at a coffee shop. He's a mobile service and will come to wherever you are. Hopefully I don't have to use him again, but will for sure call him up if I do! read more

Raphael was simply perfection. He responded to my request right away, with a fair price, and was able to come the same day of request. Further he was extremely pleasant to hang out with during the repair. He did an impeccable job and its people like him that make me appreciate business that put their heart into their work. Highly recommend. read more

I'm really glad I chose Done Repairs/Raphael to fix my iPhone XS Max screen. To start, he was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Fixed my phone during quarantine and it's good as new. I've only had the screen a few days but I feel confident in the quality of his repair. He offers a warranty as well. Great customer service and quality work! read more

Last night, the glass on my iPhone5 shattered. As though I was singing soprano. We're talking glass blown out everywhere. One corner, the glass was missing entirely. Catch me on the Worst Auditions Ever episode of American Idol. I can crack your cell phone too. Not to worry, though, because we have Rafael at D-One Repairs. Rafael is the least expensive mobile repair shop in all of San Diego county. Believe it folks, I made calls all morning. I made the appointment with Rafael and he scheduled me immediately. Now I was willing to hitch a ride to a repair shop if the price was right. However I totaled my car back in July and I really wanted a mobile repair technician who would provide me same-day service. Rafael was willing to come right away. He fixed my phone in 10 minutes and the new glass is pristine. You would never know it was a hot mess last night. It looks better than it did before it shattered. Rafael is professional and efficient. Once the work was done, he stayed while we tested the phone - placing calls, making sure the front camera works, etc. Don't wait around at a repair shop all day. Rafael can really get the job done in 10 minutes. And if you're in the middle of a load of laundry (I was) he can come to your place. Hopefully I won't brutalize my iPhone again, but should the glass crack in the future, there's only one place I would call - Rafael at D One Repairs. read more

Raph is fantastic. After a night of drinking brought to you by Ballast Point's "Victory at Sea" (AKA best beer ever), I was calling up a Lyft to get home and overshot my pocket when I went to put my phone back, causing it to ricochet off of the curb, bounce out of its case, and skid across the concrete, shattering the front screen into a splintery mosaic and rendering it all but unusable. I bought the service plan from AT&T with my phone, but they still wanted a deductible of $150 to fix it, and I'd be without a phone for at least a day. I could go to the Apple Store, but it would be $110 to repair, and I couldn't get on the 163 to go to Fashion Valley Mall because of the Rock and Roll Marathon. I expired a sigh of resignation, and in a last ditch effort typed "iphone screen repair hillcrest" into the Google search box. Raph's was the first listing that pulled up. After reading the reviews, I was sold. I called at 6 pm today, he quoted me a price of 70 dollars, and met me at the Starbucks on 5th right up the road from my apartment at 6:30. I watched as he gingerly disassembled the phone and managed the many tiny screws that went into various components. With great care, he replaced the screen, reassembled the phone, and made sure everything worked properly before giving it back to me. Within the hour I called him, I had my phone back in my hand, looking as good as new. Fast, efficient, reliable, and he offers a 6 month warranty on all of his repairs. I can't say enough about how awesome my experience was. I will definitely refer friends to him, and should I ever drunkenly break my screen again (by the way, you should also NEVER make decisions about or attempt to shave any part of your body while intoxicated), I will definitely call him for another Starbucks date. How do you take your latte, Raph? read more

After dropping my Iphone 5C and shattering the screen I knew I had to do something about it. First I thought I would just pay my deductible and get a replacement phone, when I realized I could have the screen fixed by this guy for half the price the decision was simple. I called him Saturday and we worked out a time for him to come to my house on Sunday. He showed up, I told him he could work at my dining room table. I sat in my living room and watched some TV while I waited...to my surprise 20 minutes later he was done! I paid him and off he went as fast as he came! It was the smoothest transaction one could ask for and I didn't even have to leave my house! A+++ Experience! I will recommend this dude to all my friends, and in the tragic event I need another fix on my Iphone he will be the first person I call! read more

I called Done (Raphael) because the power button on my IPhone 5 was incredibly hard to turn off and on. Turns out it is a cable that is a common problem, but not easy to repair. In fact, I called around and some places do not even attempt this repair. But for Rafael it was no problem! I dropped my phone off and a few hours later the power button was working perfectly. And the best thing about it, only $45! That's how repairs should be... inexpensive and effortless. It will keep me coming back for sure! read more

I broke the front screen of my iPhone 4s and wanted it fixed, pronto! I looked around at a few places and decided to give Rafael a call. He was very courteous and even offered to so a same day appointment, which I was unable to make due to previous commitments, so I scheduled for the next day. Rafael was nice enough to come to my office, showed up on time, and completed the job in 30 minutes (less than the 45 he had initially mentioned). He tested out my phone before he left to make sure there was nothing wrong with it and told me his works was guaranteed, so if I began having problems with it later, I could call him without a problem. I couldn't be more satisfied with the services from D. One Repairs and have already recommended him to several friends. I just wish he would have left me more business cards! read more

Called at 9:01 am he was in my house and completely repaired but 10:30. Great guy as well. Highly recommended.

This service is amazing. I recommend Raph to all my friends. If you have a broken screen, home button not working, bad battery etc. DO NOT PANIC....make a same day appointment with Raph and he'll solve all your problems. I had him fix my screen last winter, he stopped by my home and fixed my phone in 15 min. I just had my battery replaced for $40 in 15 min. It's like a new phone. It is a little weird not having a store front but Raph is very professional and affordable. read more

I was hanging out at a local coffee shop working, and on a whim decided to finally get my shattered iPhone 6 screen fixed. Called around, everywhere either didn't answer or had quotes of around $150, which was just a little too much for me. I finally called Raphael and he was SUPERB - met me where i was within 20 mins, fixed it within 20 mins, charged me $115 which includes a 6-month warranty, and was prompt and professional. What else is there to say? Thanks Raphael for the beautiful new phone screen!! read more

After spending way too many hours getting bureaucratically orbited and having my time completely wasted by Apple, I gave Raphael a call. He was super fast, totally professional, came to my house, guaranteed his work, stood behind it, and came through like a pro. He had really sound advice and was very reasonably priced. I will definitely be doing business with him again in the future, and I highly recommend him to my friends. read more

The power button on my 4S was jammed. I took it in to the Apple store, but as expected those miserable bastards told me I needed to replace the whole thing for $200. I called Rafael up moments after leaving, and he let me drop it off on a Friday night. 45 minutes later, it was fixed and tested for a grand total of - wait for it - $30. He was awesome and very helpful. Would definitely recommend him to anyone. read more

He is always so fast and efficient. We've had our phones fixed by him about 5 times (were super clumsy with dropping phones-and we don't have cases) He travels to you, he isn't expensive and he has such good knowledge of iPhone's. Call this guy, he's amazing,. read more

Couldn't stop dropping my phone this weekend so my screen was pretty beat up. Wasn't that hopeful there would be a place open on Sunday in my neighborhood to fix my phone. However, a quick Yelp search led me to Raphael and an early morning quote request was immediately answered. An appointment was made for just a few hours later. Raphael made a housecall, which is so so convenient, and we chatted while he fixed the phone screen. Before I knew it, the screen was fixed and it's working like new. Such a great experience! Highly recommend. I dropped my phone when I was out with friends to eat. I called Done (D-One?) Repairs, expecting it to be a brick-and-mortar establishment. The guy who answered said he was mobile and usually met people at the Starbucks in Hillcrest. I was staying in a hotel in Point Loma, and asked if I should meet him tomorrow in Hillcrest. He was happy to come and meet me at the hotel. We arranged to meet about 45 minutes later. When he arrived, it was quick and easy. I think the entire thing cost me $80 and 10 minutes. read more

I broke the glass on my iPhone 4 months ago. It was still usable so I didn't do anything. I dropped it again last weekend and this time, the screen was completely ruined! I really didn't want to get a new phone or renew my service plan. I found D One Repairs on Craigslist them came to Yelp to read the reviews. I called Rafael on Sunday afternoon. He came to my house less than 3 hours later and fixed the screen in 40 minutes for a reasonable price ($65 for iPhone 4: prices vary depending on carrier and phone)! The phone looks brand new and works perfectly. I couldn't be happier! 5 stars all around for convenience, courtesy, workmanship and professionalism. Raph was a super nice guy, easy to communicate with, and was very professional and prompt. We met up at a coffee shop, and I watched him go through the process of fixing my phone (new screen and battery replacement) - he was precise and methodical; it was obvious he took great care in his work. The whole thing took approx 30 minutes, and the price was more than fair for essentially getting a refurbed phone handed back to me without having to go more than two blocks from my house ($140). He was open about where he got his parts (Etech), and the quality is immaculate and as close to OEM as you can get (you can't actually get OEM parts because Apple has ownership of those factories). Would highly recommend service again. read more
