Came in at 10pm on a Friday. There was a small line as well as people picking up to go orders. Menu is easy to read and they have sizes on their wall to help decide between half and full sizes. They take card but offer a small discount for cash. Parking was no problem at this time since majority of businesses in this lot were already closed. There's a few small tables that can fit 16 people inside total. Music is light so you can hear your own conversation along with your neighbors. Ordered full carne asada chips and it was ready to go in 3 minutes. Their red and green salas have a nice heat but nothing crazy. If you want more spicy, these won't do it. The nachos were ok. There was a lot of meat. But they were more on the dry side. The cheese was not melted all the way. Would I come here again? For the convenience and a late night bite, yes. Service was great! They offer a lot of items! Open pretty early. Just came in to grab something small. Got the Tuesday specials so one fish taco and one potatoe taco along with one of each of their sauces. The sauces were pretty good. The tacos were fine but not amazing, the potatoe one Ed good but the cheese inside was not melted although it was deep fried. The fish taco was mediocre but the fresh toppings helped it. The fish was bland and this tortilla was stale. Perhaps it was just this morning? I didn't get anything else so can't really say. Had to chew slowl & carefully to avoid cutting up the inside of mouth. The inside is small & quaint about 4-5 tables & tvs to watch if interested & an area to self serve water. I ordered a California Surf burrito at the front, and waited for about 7-8 minutes before it was bagged up hot and fresh. There were sauces on the side, but the waiter also put some in the bag. It costs about $11 which was a pretty good price for the size of the burrito, it legit takes 2-3 meals before it could be finished. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the shrimp was fresh. This place has some of the meatiest tripa tacos I have had. I write this review because I keep comparing different tripa tacos from other places (not in SD but the Bay Area) and they keep falling short. Not only is the tripe nice and crispy, it fills the entire corn tortilla with extra bits falling off. Pairing the taco Tuesday deals with an abundant meat selection, this place is amazing if you want different, more unique cuts of meat on your taco. I'm easily able to eat six of these tacos.
