I rarely eat at a hotel restaurant unless needed as usually they are average but this one had good…read morereviews and usually a Ritz restaurant is worth it. The meal started well with friendly service and the Salmon tartare cones. They were delicious! The tables on the patio are wonderful. We ordered the salmon and the Sea Bass. I was particularly looking forward to having Chilean Sea Bass while in Chile. Ironically the salmon was the hit and the Sea Bass was dry. Also, after we chose to order just a glass of wine each instead of a bottle, our waiter abandoned us. He stopped checking on us and we had to ask for the check (albeit typical in Chile) after quite a long wait. Please note this isn't a bad restaurant, it's just not consistently great for a 5 star hotel. There are many options for good dining in Santiago, this one is average for fine dining.

Incredible experience!…read more We were hoping for the opportunity to try a good Chilean Sea Bass, but due to the season found ourselves indulging in the juices of the Patagonian lamb perfectly prepared with putee eggplant and a Carmanere wine glaze. Before we can even decide on an appetizer, we were greeted with freshly warm biscuits that were stuffed with caramelized onions and a cone of tuna Crudo (on the house!). Pro Tip: Request a taste of several wines, including the regional Carmanere (originating from France, but rediscovered in Chile). Camilo provided us with exceptional service and even surprised us with a parting gift! It was a pleasure getting to know him and hope to cross paths with him in the future.

Went here after seeing the place mentioned online several times, but were a bit underwhelmed with…read morethe food and service. We sat at a sidewalk table, since it was a lovely night, and were ignored for a while. A few cold rolls were then brought to the table, and a waiter took our order. The house salad had no dressing on it, came with lime halves, which we used together w/ the oil & balsamic vinegar on the table. I ordered Vermicelli Bolognese, which did not have much sauce and was very light on flavor. My husband enjoyed his vegetarian lasagne w/ pomodoro sauce. Strangely there did not seem to be any garlic or many herbs in their version of Italian food. We had walked quite a distance to get to this area/restaurant and did not feel like it was worth the trek.

Best kept Italian secret in Santiago!…read more Why? Because the price is right with huge portions of homemade pasta!! This place is always busy with locals! Definitely a casual place. They also own the cafe across the street and a pick up fresh frozen pasta separate entrance. The restaurant entrance is on the side of the building as if you were entering someones home, and this place keeps on going and going. They obviously kept expanding the restaurant space into different living areas of the location. They have a toy room for the children to play. My personal favorite dining location is in the open air back patio that has small water fountains with flowers in the summer. When ordering in Chile many waiters and restaurants are not willing to change the plate to your specific request. This is not one of them! If a dish has a sauce that usually comes on it and you would prefer a different one not a problem! Im not saying the service is always polite but the food is good. My personal favorite is the homemade ricotta cheese ravioli with nuts and the tomatoes and creme sauce. Ravioli de Ricotta y nueces con sala rossa. Yum! I love it so much that we would go to the take home entrance of the fresh frozen pasta and pick up boxes of the Raviloli - Ricotta y Nueces as well as Ravioli de Ricotta y Jamón and Ravioli de Carne to take home and make for ourselves throughout the month. Whipped up some homemade sauce and its so easy and delicious. 1box is good for 2 adult servings. Definitely recommend this location for tourists during lunch!
