I have been coming here at least once a week for close to two years because the food is good and the prices fair. I will never return after what happened today. I normally order 12 carne asada street tacos ($21.00), coming with chopped onion and cilantro, and a cheese and onion enchilada plate ($9.99) with all beans, no rice. I also request a large bag of pico di gallo, enough for 12 tacos and I have never been a problem until today. My wife and I can usually eat two or three meals throughout the week on the food we order. Before COVID, you could help yourself to the salsa bar which included pickled carrots and jalapeños, salsas, and pico di gallo, so I took as much pico as I needed for a dozen tacos, never more. Since COVID, I have called in my orders and requested a bag of pico di gallo along with my 12 tacos and have never had a problem. Well, today I called in the same order, but when I arrived, the pico di gallo came in a styrofoam box and the total came to much more than expected, so I asked if I was being charged for the pico. I was told 'yes', $6.50 for the pico di gallo I usually get for free with my 12 tacos. She asked me if I still wanted it and I said 'no', absolutely not, so she took it off the bill and refused to give me any pico di gallo for my tacos. I was visiting a friend in town and he brought us here because he frequents it and stated it to be good. We did a drive-through order here which was as expected a quick experience. Breakfast burritos hit the spot and were so so good. They were a good size and very filling. I appreciated the ability to customize them and of course adding different meats. Eggs, hashbrowns, cheese, and meat inside a nice warm tortilla with some nice smokey salsa on the side..I was definitely a happy guy. If I'm in the area again I would definitely come by for another breakfast burrito and try some other items. Unless this was the only place in the area for Mexican style food id recommend steering clear of this place. id first like to say that i do mot enjoy giving any business a poor review but then again, i rely on Yelp and other sites to assist me in obtaining some customer insight as i travel extensively and eat out very often. I made a attempt to try this newly opened restaurant and unfortunately was recommended the Macho burrito by the cashier and employee taking my order. This was probably the worst burrito I've had and over priced and they sprinkle it with cheap powdered Parmesan cheese! No real cheese on it and a big rip off. Tables were dirty and they had several employees who could be cleaning dirty tables as thy were not busy at all with only a few people in restaurant. I was there 30 minutes and no one ever car into dining portion to clean tables and trash and a few flies were buzzing around. Not a good dining experience at all. We used to get food here 2 or 3 times a week. They make really good food! The problem.... Have you ever seen the inside of the place? It is not very clean and there are typically flies. That does not encourage one that the kitchen is clean.... maybe it's more authentic to actual food in Mexico? We HAD to stop going here after the second time in one week, both of the people ordering found, in different dishes, hair that was very obviously cooked INTO the food. We figured the first time maybe was a fluke- a new employee not following directions perhaps- and maybe we could forgive as it was only one hair here or one there (so gross even if you try to make yourself feel better that you ate food with head-, face- or worse- hair cooked into it). This is the best Mexican fare in the Camas/Washougal area. The menudo is pretty good and you can get it every day. The place is pretty clean and the menu is totally legit. I just went here for the first time for breakfast and I received the worst service I've ever gotten. The cashier working the drive-thru was the rudest employee I've experienced in a long time. The family and I stopped in on a recent Saturday evening. Fabulous choice! Service is friendly, the food was first-rate, and the price was entirely reasonable. I went with the chicken burrito plato, and was really pleasantly surprised by the chicken. I was expecting plain chicken filling, but got small chunks of chicken in a really great spicy sauce (and, of course, rice and beans). Wife got chile rellenos, which she liked, and the kids made short work of a chicken quesadilla and a bean and rice burrito mucho, respectively. My mother and I went in because they didn't get our order right, and they started laughing at my mom and making fun of her in Spanish (she could understand them). This place has been in Washougal for years and they have continued to have TERRIBLE service and have messed up our orders many many times. Good! This place is pretty great. It's a welcome newcommer to Camas/Washougal for me because I love drive thru Mexican places. It reminds me of San Diego. They really need more Drive-Thru friendly things though. Ive had a huge burrito, their carne asada tacos and tamales. The tacos were simply amazing, and the burrito was an entree burrito, slathered in enchilada sauce with beans and rice in it. I knew what was in it and ordered it anyway and don't get me wrong... it was pretty darn good. The tamales were delicious, fresh tasting, steamy and really hot. Super suprising! However, Id like to see a burrito menu... With late night favorites like a California Burrito (carne asada, french fries, guacamole, sour cream, cheese). That would really take me back to San Diego.
