This is a pic of the dinner flautas with sauce and cheese.

Went for lunch, had to tell the employees their sign was still showing closed. If I was a customer not meeting people I knew were already inside, I would have thought they were closed and left (no biggie) Waiter had no idea what a Gluten Free menu was so we asked him to ask a manager. I was told, "you just gotta look through the menu to see if you can find something". Normally, I would have walked out at that point. Was with friends so I stayed. I order the flautas. Per the picture in the menu, they come covered in verde sauce and cheese. Mine were dry (see photos). My friend ordered the #12 fajitas lunch, which was supposed to come with a fajita, taco and rice. She had to tell the waiter she was missing an item. He came back and said no, it just fajitas, taco.... Oh yeah ok I'll get you one. The fried ice cream was really good but they only had 1 left, no biggie. The waiter either had not been trained or was so shy he needs some more training to get out of his shell. And in today's world of food allergies, he should have been trained on what gluten allergies are. He was inexperienced on the menu, had to look at at it to see what we were ordering. He was nice for not being talkative but didn't ask to refill our drinks or bring more water when our glasses were more than half empty. Not a big deal. However, when you roll all of those little issues into 1 meal experience, we won't be back, I know good help is hard to find, but I didn't think it was that hard to find. Would have been nice if the manager walked around and talked to the customers. However, after he ate his lunch, he was never seen again.

We happened to be driving by on Memorial Day and noticed this new restaurant was open, so we thought we would give it a try. The menu is extensive! Many options, besides the ala carte items. My friend got the fajita burrito with chicken and it was massive! He took half of it home. I got the number one on the vegetarian combo section and it consisted of one bean burrito, one cheese enchilada and a side of rice. I also got a side of guacamole and that was really good. I enjoyed my meal too and ended up taking the cheese enchilada home. The chips and salsa were good and I also requested the hot salsa which was really good. It looked like it was going to be really hot, but it wasn't unbearable!! The waiter was really good and I heard him speaking Spanish to other customers, so if you know anybody that needs someone to translate, that is helpful to know.

So I've gone back several times after my last review because I found an item on the menu that I really like & its consistently good every time. Unfortunately, I don't think I want to come back. I dined in recently on a weekday with only 2 other tables filled but my waiter decided to just hand me the bill and a carry out container while I was just starting to eat my burrito. I thought that was so rude, especially because I was sitting alone, had my headphones in and wasn't bothering ANYONE. The customer service here has always been meh at best but I ignored it because the food was good and I usually order takeout so I don't have to deal with them too much. My experience last week just made me realize that I'm not okay with giving people my money when they don't even want me as a customer. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but that was unacceptable to me.

We were recommended to check out Don Patron's by my boyfriend's co worker who bragged about the place and said he and his wife go every week to 2 weeks...They have a huge menu, so give yourself time to look it over beforehand. We were greeted and seated right away when we came in and were given chips and salsa. They do have one of the better salsas, I like it when I visibly can see chunks of white onion and cilantro. It's definitely not the best, I think Mexico City has a better one and our all time favorite place is Los Galanes in Mexican Town, Detroit. My Birria tacos were decent and my rice was nice and fluffy, seasoned. I think I enjoyed more than the BF did. Again he has a high standard ever since I turned him onto my family's favorite place we've been going to for 25 years lol. If you like margaritas, we didn't partake but they have huge ones with spickets on them at your table with blinking flashing colored lights if that's your thing

My all time FAVORITE restaurant. The setting is very open and inviting, the service is quick and delightful, and the food absolutely speaks for itself. I like to try new things every time I go out, but I am in LOVE with the Quesabirria and churros here.

Watch out for the takeout and convenient fee.

Food is good, but pay attention to the convenient and takeout fee. If we aren't struggling enough in this economy.

Update. They have been open a year and have really improved on a few items. The salsa now has flavor; yay! They have more personnel so service has improved 10X better. We live around the corner so we are now regulars and have noticed the quality of the food is very good.

    Strange color and very bland.

Very over priced and very bland. Chimichangas came out like burritos swimming in some white sauce. Margarita was bland and well. With all the places around here for Mexican food this place rates very low on my scale. Would not recommend at all. Not sure how people rate this as 5. Chips are straight out of a bag taste like cardboard no flavor. Salsa is like tomato's probably out of a jar. Asked for hot they brought this oily stuff with seeds in it.

We were not planning on having dinner here but we saw it as we drove by and decided to dine in. We got the fish tacos and shrimp tacos. The shrimp and fish were very well seasoned but too salty for our taste. Even the rice and refried beans were very salty. Chips and salsa were good. Not sure if their other menu items are just as salty or if it was just the chef that made our meal? It was very busy on a Friday night and everyone around us seemed to enjoy their food.

Now here we are celebrating another family members Birthday and we were a party of seven tonight (Six of us were from the previous celebration)... stay with me, there's a point I'm going to make. So, we all had very different orders and drinks two months ago and everything was fabulous as it always is and it just so happens that we got the same Waitress tonight that we had before and not only did she remember us, but she also remembered what each one of us ordered. I mean food AND Drinks... down to the Sugar Rim on the Margaritas and the side shots on some other drinks being served! She even remembered that I ordered Lime and Cilantro on the side of my meal and had a preference of Corn Tortillas! COME ON MAN!!! PIA IS AMAZING!!! Juan Miguel's... I don't know what you guys are paying this young woman, but whatever it is... it is not enough! She is phenomenal! My wife and I started off with some drinks, the blueberry lavender margarita and the mango sunrise. The first thing that came to mind when I tried the former was "Mexican long island." The mango sunrise was delicious, and one of the better margaritas I've had locally. As for the food, we began the meal with complimentary chips and salsa and bowls of chicken tortilla soup. The chips were a bit stale. I order chicken tortilla soup most times it's on a menu, and this one was solid. For our appetizers, we got Miguel's nacho grande and a deep fried flour taco. Of these, I definitely preferred the nachos over the taco. I also preferred the flour chips from the nachos over the regular corn chips. For our entrees, my wife got cheese quesadillas, and I got the trio fajita. The quesadillas were run-of-the-mill. The trio fajita includes chicken, shrimp, and steak, and is quite a hearty dish. For dessert, we got the flan, which was to die for. My 3 favorite dishes from the meal were the soup, the nachos, and the flan. I would rather drive down to Mexicantown to get my fix of Mexican, but Juan Miguel's is a spot I would go back to.

My wife and I have been running errands and wanted to try something new for supper and found this place on yelp. When we arrived it seemed a little quiet, but the hostess/waitress quickly appeared and showed us to a table. From there everything went smoothly. I opted for a plate of enchiladas, and found them to be very well prepared and seasoned. The salsa had that wonderful tomato forward texture to it that I enjoy very much. The room is small, and it's clear that they get most of their business on carryout. That being said I think if you showed up with a somewhat larger party they would be glad to take care of you. They certainly took good care of us.

Being that I'm on this side of town for a few days, I figured it was finally time to check it out. The location's much bigger with more seating than the Rochester Hills one. Nicely decorated with ample seating, you order at the counter and they run the food out to you. Not sure if they have waitresses or not, but that's how they were running it when I was there. I asked if they had Birria tacos and the man behind the counter said they do, just not on the menu. I ordered the taco dinner with shredded beef, rice, beans and a glass of water. I got served chips and dip which was okay, but the salsa was a bit runny for my liking. The "hot" salsa was good, and wasn't overpowering. Eventually, my food came out and it was a huge portion! I was impressed with all three tacos, rice and beans. It was only $13 on the menu, so I was happy with how much food I was served. The beef was a little on the dry side but still fairly good. Rice and beans were decent, but the music was a bit on the louder side. I docked a star for the meat being a bit dry and louder music considering it wasn't really necessary. The man who rang me up was super nice and friendly and also went through the menu with me since I had a few questions before ordering. Overall, a decent meal for the price and I'd return in the future.
