    Chicken bowl (terrible)
    Karen W.

Boy am I disappointed in this place. While it is a cute and very clean establishment the food was awful. I did a create your own burrito bowl. I chose brown rice, black beans and pulled chicken. I topped it with lettuce, corn, chipotle sauce, cheese, sour cream and medium salsa. The portion was HUGE, for mean it could have easily been 2-3 meals. Sadly even with the chipotle sauce and salsa it was so bland. There was zero flavor or seasoning to anything. I was really hoping for bold flavors but got none. I could literally make this but better tasting at home. My second issue is the paper bowl it was served in. When I picked it up to throw out my trash (which was 3/4 of my meal) the bottom of the bowl has soaked through and ripped and made a gigantic mess everywhere. They should probably invest in something sturdier. I don't think I'd recommend this place or go back. You'd get a better meal at Chipotle.

Excellent! The first time I ordered from this location for lunch at work and the nachos were Loaded and so good! Definitely enough to share. The order was right on time and the staff was friendly. I'm excited to go back again to fix my nachos craving

    two tacos in a basket
    Bass S.

I came with my family on Friday night, it wasn't busy and the staff was very friendly. I ordered traditional tacos hoping they'll be as good as the ones I'm used to have, they were ok. The steak taco was good but pretty small and only had onion and cilantro, no tomatoes no lime. The fish taco was a small fried piece of tilapia. The chips are extra. I think this place has potentials but they'll need to improve the food a bit.

Very dry, no meat or cheese.

I get it times are tough but....Come on. This experience was really awful! I ordered a lime tofu burrito with cheese beans Blah blah blah. It was super small and extremely dry. But whatever I can eat anything. Then I see the tip jars So inappropriate and so offensive. First off the girl at the counter was zero help and had a bit of an attitude. Maybe you should have put more into the service and the quality of food instead about if women or men are better tippers. I've added a picture of my friends burrito which had 1 piece of chicken in it and again super dry. I've had many Don Juan Burritos that were really good. This experience was very off.

Fresh made burritos and other Mexican delights. Very friendly staff to help with menu for first timers. Prices are decent compared to other Mexican restaurants in the region.

Very nice place, clean, friendly. I had beef empinada, brown rice and black beans, son had Chicken Quesadilla with rice and black beans. Side of tortilla chips. Food was very good. Fresh made salsa in mild, garlic and hot. All good

Greeted via a wonderful gentleman Fred , who is also the owner of Mediterranean Grill. He seated us immediately. He took our order we decided to go with a chicken Shawarma wrap And lamb Shawar. Both had a beautiful presentation. We ordered a side dish of grape leaves and a hummus dip. The dip was amazing, smooth and creamy and flavorful, and the grape leaves had just the right touch of flavor, rolled to perfection. The chicken Shawarma was lightly seasoned with a garlic cream sauce. The lamb Shawarma was equally just as good and flavorful. The dessert was a Osmayli - creamy and delicious, not too heavy . The prices are reasonable. When I visit Bethlehem Pennsylvania again I would definitely stop by here and if you are here, I say stop by give it a try you will not be disappointed and you will thank me later Say hello to Fred

Lamb was ok but not remarkably spiced nor that tender. But it was good. The rice was a bit mushy and there was little to no dressing on the salad nor the red cabbage on the dish. Would have loved to have had something more like rice pilaf. Requested some white yogurt dressing on the side and this brought it together. I don't think one can judge a place based on the lunch special so I will definitely be returning to try more of their entrées that they're known for. Came here with my mom, as part of our tradition to check out restaurants she's not tried in Bethlehem (I grew up here, she still lives here and I am now in Philly). We each began with one of their Thai coconut soups: me, the 3 mushroom and her the chicken-coconut. This was so heavenly and light and scrumptious. The mushrooms were unusual and not typical of any I've tried. They had great texture and blended beautifully with the lemongrass and other traditional Thai aromatics. Mom got shrimp/crabmeat fried rice and absolutely loved it. I got the vegetarian Thai-Basil pad Thai and it was cooked to perfection! Lovely rice cellophane noodles, broccoli, sprouts, peppers and a phenomenal spicy basil infused sauce - not too heavy either. Service was warm and expedient. I would absolutely return !

The most recent experience we had there was a huge disappointment. Their prices went too high now, which is not unique to them, but most restaurants in this area. The big problem is the service, as usual. This is very much a family operation so the wait staff, meaning primarily the 2 daughters of the owners, do not care about the customers , and are not concerned with any criticism or complaints a customer might make. Me and my wife have never complained, but this will be our last time there, unless we hear about changes being made there. The food has gotten somewhat less delicious, but the food was always very good. The decorum has not updated nor changed in years and the hard wood booths and chairs are just super uncomfortable. Thank goodness because we were starving, having not eaten in preparation for a day of VegFest binging. We split an apple turnover and a small spinach pie from the Snail while we waited for our two tempeh sandwiches. The sandwiches came out quickly and we split the Thai tempeh (very spicy but very tasty) and the kale and mustard tempeh (very tasty as well). Both were served on very good millet bread. I would have prefered a little more variety, maybe one on a baguette or something, but overall I was incredibly satisfied. Not too full for more food though! I also noshed on a a bite of a pretzel-shaped sweet and salty doughnut from Vegan Treats, who had an absolutely wonderful spread of desserts. The doughnut was just ok, I took home two lemon bars that were out of this world good. Finally, I split a vegan cheesesteak empenada with my husband; it was pretty bland. However, it was great to have so many options to try all in one place. I also purchased two items of clothing: one festival T-shirt in a gorgeous periwinkle color. The T had a cool saying on the front and a pretty logo on the back, but it's just a boring straight T, I would've prefered a fancy organic washed out cotton. I may have to alter it when I get home, turn it into a boat neck or something like the refashionista (look her up!) Also purchased an absolutely gorgeous open neck turquoise, soft as butter sweatshirt that had a elephant herbivore logo. I'm in love with this item from Grape Cat.
