Highly recommended Mike! He is the sweetest salesman I've had the pleasure of working with and always recognizes me and greets me when I come in. I bought a '22 outlander from him earlier this year and have loved every moment of owning it. He advocated for me to help me reach my finance goal as well. However, I do NOT recommend working with Sydney. She immediately talked down on other car salesman we worked with that day and was very unprofessional. She cursed and kept calling us "mama" and the car my friend wanted to view "baby" like "mama look at your baby!!" We wound up not purchasing a car because the whole thing was so unprofessional and uncomfortable. She was also very passive aggressive when we did not like something about a car. I took my 2020 Mitsubishi in for repairs after running over something in the road. Salesmen Charles comes out, takes me to sales department to talk to chase who said that his mechanic will look at the car in the morning. The car is still under warranty, but they need good faith money of 1k to push a warrant though. Meanwhile, the sales person Charles who, wants 1k down on a sweet deal to get me in a newer version and tells me to not work with maintenance in The back office. Two days of this and holding my car hostage, no service, no nothing! After the sales person Charles is always calling me back in 20mins. Day two, I just want my car back and maintenance in the back is wanting me two now take out a 4k loan to finance fixing my car that's under a special warranty of good faith! 8pm I get home ftom errands and asked the sales person Charles, where is my sweet deal. If they see that you are young and you're not waving around money in the air they automatically assume you're not worth any assistance. It's all smoke and mirrors!!!! They do not have any credit amnesty, the are like no other car dealership in the DfW. They tell you we have you pre-approved, you just have to come down choose your car and have yours appraised. Of course they can't discuss any numbers with you except that you're good to go you just have to come down.You get there pick a car get excited because they tell you everything looks good, your trade in, is good to go just let me talk to sales/finance manager. Then comes the hammer to the head, well we can make it work but you need a co-signer. No matter that the numbers are I. Your favor including that they are suppose to give you $4500 rebate, it's the same old story of we want to help you but you need a co-signer. I was extremely pleased with everyone I came into contact with from the Service Writer to the Service Manager to the Technician who were able to fix the convertible top on my wife's 1998 Eclipse Spyder. We had been told for more than four years, it couldn't be fixed because the parts had been discontinued. Don't know how they did it, but it works like a champ now. They also fixed the motor in the retractable antenna without charging a fee. May not seem like a big thing, but it was one of the best service experiences I've had in a long time. read more

My car ran out of gas, just across the road from them. It was raining and the closest gas station is awhile away. I walked in to see if I could "buy" $2 in gas, the guy at the desk was rude and treated me like some kind of homeless person. These folks certainly get the job done. They open at 7 am during the week bright and early for all of your car maintenance needs. My Mitsubishi is always well taken care of here! It's a great car and I've been with them since I was in my 20s zooming around with the sporty white Eclipse. Now I have a Lancer and it's a very economical car! I love how it drives. They provide you with a great warranty (mine is believe is within 60,000 miles) so basically any issues that arise they hook you up with no crazy fees. Talk to Blake and he will take good care of you! The service here really cannot be beat. I am so thankful to have Don Herring as my dealer! read more

I attempted to work with two different sales people at the Irving location of Don Herring Mitsubishi, and neither one seemed to have any idea how to work a sales job. Their pricing is high and they refuse to work with you on trades while offering you well below fair value for your vehicle. I was very specific with them where I needed to be on monthly payments, and they put my loan application amount at well above what was even close to a realistic number. I would have never signed off on what they sent to the bank, and they did it behind my back. This dealership is extremely shady! Beware! read more

This dealership has an expert management staff and excellent customer service to rectify any and all issues. It's probably why they've gained such a great reputation, which is well deserved. That being said I cannot in good conscience give their service center a positive review.  I brought my car in for a routine transmission flush and to run a diagnostic because the check engine light had gone on. The problem was an O2 sensor, a fairly small repair. They had to order the part, and told me to come back the following Monday for the repair. But they charged me for the diagnostic which is not a common occurrence when you're getting repairs done in the same shop. In my experience I've never actually been charged for this. Two days later before I had gone back for my O2 sensor installation, my car wouldn't start. No issues with my car, the alternator, the starter, and the battery was new. Couldn't figure out what was wrong so I called AAA. AAA arrived and fixed the issue within 30 seconds. It seems that the Mitsubishi dealership service center had taken the battery apart and failed to tighten it back on. Literally just an issue of an untightened screw that caused me a morning of headache, not being able to get my car to start. This is a careless mistake, but one loose screw can cause greater problems than just a car not starting. It can be an issue of life or death if a few screws are loose in your car. Initially I had felt that both myself as a customer and my car, had been dealt with rather carelessly and recklessly. Until management stepped in to fix the problems. I applaud them for this but still wish the issues could have been avoided from the start. I don't think I should have been charged for the diagnostic, which in the end would have been burning $120 for no reason, IF they had not done the repair for me at no cost. I also can't find any justification for not tightening the screw on my battery. Causing me a full morning of headache with AAA. I certainly won't be back to this service center, but I hope that management will be able to take a very good look at the goings-on here and make sure that the mechanics are doing their due diligence and that the service attendants are charging fairly. I do have full faith that Don Herring being of the highest caliber in dealerships, will fix these issues promptly. read more

The car we purchased had been sold from the dealership twice. Once brand new, bought from auction, then sold as used, then traded back in at this lot. So I thought I might be able to get a great deal on it. Wrong, only came down $600 off sticker price. Then got stuck with a $500 appearance warranty that "comes" standard on all purchases. I asked for it to be removed and was denied. Sounds like it should be an optional service to me. Staff was friendly, finance guy not so much. read more

Pleasantly surprised! Saw an article on the new Outlander Sport and wanted to see what the hype was about. I have always been a Honda guy until I stopped by Don Herring and met Alex Armenta. He gave me the 411 on the Outlander Sport and all of the safety features Mitsubishi provides. Of course I wanted the fully loaded model but it put me out of my range, but i was assured by Alex he would get me into one. I couldn't believe all the standard features that come on just the base model and i can now proudly say I am a Mitsubishi owner! I haven't always had good dealings with dealerships and grew tired of tote the note lots, but Alex and his finance manager Justin Hemingway provided me with a comfortable car buying experience. Don Herring Mitsubishi has an radio ad out about thier amnesty program, saying they take all kinds of credit issues and problems and forgives them. Well this is false advertisement all day long. They will bring you in, sit you down and tell you they understand your situation. After taking your information and making you sit there and wait for a few hours they come back and tell you that you need to put $7,000 down and that they don't overlook all kinds of credit issues. Then a week goes by with little to no communication and when they finally respond to an email or text they say you need to put $5,000 down. So what happened to the amnesty program and all the credit forgiveness, they respond with you still need to have good credit to use that program but the radio ad says you guys take all kinds of credit, forgives and helps people out. Who walks around with $5K to $7K, if I had that ai would just buy a car straight out or get a better one, one that I really wanted. Also they advertise military or Veteran discounts or rebates but they don't use it as your down payment they want more money. Never again will I go there. read more

horrible experience. my husband and i went to test drive the evolution and two sale guys were rude and very insulting. they didnt know that we had the entire amount of the car in our savings account. we not only will not do business with them but we will go somewhere else and very glad they will not get any commission from our hard on money. what a waste of time. read more
