The absolute WORST experience I've had at any place EVER. Here's the run-down for you:
Pizza ordered via web at 6:40 pm
Call at 7:40 pm (no answer)
Call again at 8:00 pm (no answer)
Call AGAIN at 8:20 pm (pizza will be an hour, no option of cancelling and getting a refund...)
Pizza arrives at 10:20 pm
Lovely, my pizza arrives piping hot 3 hours and 40 minutes later. Just in the nick of time too, I was getting a bit peckish for some reason...
I cannot believe the ineptitude of the managers here. How would they not think to call anyone who places an order, to see if they're willing to wait that long, if they're that back-logged? A wait of 10-15 minutes is acceptable. An hour is not acceptable. 3 hours and 40 minutes is ridiculous.
Not even an apology via phone, vouchers with the order or an apology note hastily scribbled on the receipt. Absolutely ridiculous, and clearly no concept of customer service.
I wouldn't have even bothered, obviously, if I had known it would take this long. I would've gotten a refund, and went on my way to literally anywhere else; I had to buy food elsewhere anyway because it was taking so long.
I'll definitely be going to the store to talk with the manager to sort something out, because this is madness. read more
