We've always had good experiences with Papa John's, but this order really missed the mark. When we…read moregot home and opened our specialty pizza, we found a long black hair wrapped in the garlic sauce and lying across the pizza. It was really off-putting. Still trying to give the benefit of the doubt, we opened the rest of the boxes. We had ordered 4 pizzas, breadsticks, and 2 extra marinara sauces. One sauce was missing, and the other was already opened and spilled all over the breadsticks box. This was honestly a stomach-turning experience, and it left us really disappointed. We're not sure if we'll be ordering again, which is a shame because we've always liked Papa John's. Hopefully this was just a one-time issue.

Something needs to be done about the makeup of the thin crust pizzas. I have been purchasing pizzas…read morefor your stores for the past few years and recently whenever I have ordered the thin crust pizza, it doesn't cook correctly. The crust is made so thin that after loaded up with sauce, cheese and a variety of toppings, just turns into a mushy mess and never gets crusty! I realize that this may seem like a small issue, but the reason I come to Papa Murphy's is because I want to enjoy hot, crusty pizza with quality ingredients. I can get mushy crust from Papa John's. After trying the store in Webb City and the store on 32nd street in Joplin, I have had the same results from both. By following the directions and trying to remove the pizza from the paper to put it back on the rack to allow the crust to harden up and reach the proper crusty texture, it tears apart trying to remove it from the tray and promptly becomes a pile of cheese and mush. I have also tried to cook the pizza for much longer than your directions state, as well as cooking it on a pizza stone, to see if that will change the results, it does not. I don't know what has changed over recent years, but I can tell you that as a long time customer, I am incredibly frustrated with the product quality of the thin & crispy pizzas. It truly saddens me to know that at this point, I can get better results from a Digiorno frozen pizza with regards to texture. To make matters worse, I'm not sure that the chain really wants feedback on their product. I've tried to submit a review twice in the survey directly for Papa Murphey's but the web page will not let you submit the information entered. I truly wish I could offer better experience at this point. My family has used Papa Murphy's for years, but we are just about frustrated to the point of finding a better way to get pizza.

I don't mind that method sometimes because I like my pizza a little on the crispy side and slightly darker than most pizza shops cook them. My only observation is they are a little skimpy on the sauces and sometimes too heavy on the meat vs veggie balance but thats not a huge thing. Most of the time I prefer picking up pizza already done, delivery, or eat in. but sometimes cash is tight and I have the time and thats when Papa Murphy's is the place to go.

Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom was the perfect dining option during my stay at La Quinta Inn,…read moreespecially since it is conveniently attached to the hotel. After traveling, having a restaurant just steps away was incredibly convenient, and the menu offered plenty of options without requiring me to leave the property. I started with my usual Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and a great way to begin the meal. I also tried the Deep Oven Bang Bang Shrimp, and it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp were flavorful, satisfying, and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the hand-tossed pizza topped with beef sausage and pepperoni. The crust had a great texture, and the combination of savory toppings, melted cheese, and sauce made every bite enjoyable. It was filling without feeling overly heavy, and I would definitely order it again. I also tried the Sweet Basil Strawberry Lemonade with Tito's, and it was the perfect drink to pair with my meal. It was refreshing, flavorful, and the Tito's added just the right touch. Overall, Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom was a convenient and enjoyable dining experience. The food was delicious, the portions were satisfying, and the location made it absolutely worth leaving my room and the hotel.

The buffet style setup was perfect because I could sample a little bit of everything without having to commit to just one pizza. From the classic pepperoni to some more creative options, everything came out hot and fresh. I especially liked being able to grab chicken wings, soup and salad alongside the pizza--it made the meal feel more complete. What really stood out was the value and the atmosphere. For the price, you get unlimited options, and the staff kept the buffet well-stocked and the dining area clean, even when it started to get busy. It had a relaxed, family-friendly vibe where you could sit back, enjoy, and not feel rushed. For a first-time visit, CiCi's definitely impressed me, and I can see why it's a go-to spot for my daughter and has been since she was little.
