It's very unfortunate that the Dominos in Rockwell continues to overcook...burn their food. Not a bad pizza but don't ever order their sandwiches and especially don't ever EVER order their chicken bites. Completely burnt!! When the order was placed online, made a call to ask to be taken out early...explained that the last couple of times, the chicken was burnt. We were put on hold...and then hung up on. When we got home, opened the order to see, then once again burnt, we called the manager and was told that "there is nothing they can do"..."it has to be cooked that way". Come on, give me a break! You bet the entire order was taken back for a full refund. And when we got there, not one word from the manager. Completely ignored!! 40 years I've been in customer service. I know better and I also know how to lose customers. Great training provided to your team, Dominos...at least n Rockwell. So, we traveled 25 minutes to the China Grove store and the manager there said, "sure, we can take it out earlier". Showed the pictures of what the Rockwell store gave us; they were amazed that it went out the door that way. Showed their ent team the pictures of what NOT to do. when I tried to order the special they have online the manager said we don't have that same coupon. In fact she was really nasty. I've been ordering from these people for years. When I tried to complain I called the corporate number and of course that didn't work either. This will be the last time I'll ever order from this crappy place. We used to get deliveries quite often. It's almost like it made the delivery drivers and "cooks" mad. The food became disgusting the orders were wrong. The delivery workers were disheveled and wreaked of cigarettes (which made our food of course smell like pure cigarette smoke) it got even worse from there. My father and I got food poisoning from their sandwich's. We've never ordered again and I will express to EVERYONE the work ethic and awfulness of this place. If I could put no stars I would. My family has eaten Domino's Pizza for years, and we've always enjoyed it. We've never had any problem at the Albemarle or Mount Pleasant locations we frequent with either pick-up or delivery. On our way home from Salisbury, we decided to stop at the Rockwell location, and we regret the decision. This was absolutely the worst experience we've ever had with any food establishment. From the phone order to the pick-up experience, everything about our order was mishandled by a kitchen full of employees. When we arrived (in plenty of time for the pizza to be ready), we were told it had not yet been placed in the oven. While waiting, we had to endure the repeated usage of the "F" bomb by one particular employee, and we observed much disorganization in the kitchen and take-out area. Three additional times we were told that our order would be ready in minutes. After over 45 minutes, we were told that the pizza had never even been made and were offered a free 2 liter drink as a consolation while we would again have to wait for our order. When we refused, cancelled our order and asked for a refund of our money, we were first (somewhat rudely) told that it was not possible. When we protested, we were told the charge could be cancelled on our card, but it would take several days. Even this process took too long at the register. There was no effort at a heart-felt apology when we left the building. I'm not sure if it's this way every day at this Domino's location, but I know that our family will never waste our time in this establishment again. read more

I've never had Dominos prior to moving to Salisbury, but as pizza goes, it was pretty much a mix between Pizza Hut and Papa Johns. The delivery staff, however, impressed me with their politeness and punctuality, as I live in a somewhat isolated location. I do enjoy the pastas they offer, but don't get the bread bowl.. It is just pizza crust. read more

This place is pretty good compared to Pizza Hut, and the quality is much better. If you are in the mood for cheap pizza.

As I read on another review, the manager here has a very negative and rude demeanor. The food is normally pretty good and the delivery staff is exceptional...but whatever you do, do not bring a grievance to their attention. They do not know how to handle concerns and you will be met with arguments, denial, and attitude. You are really better off going to the Granite or Mt. Pleasant locations depending on where you live. read more

Ordered a large with everything and went to pick it up last Fri. When I picked it up I observed the guy making pizza, take peoples money and go back to making without washing his hands several times. I said oh well the pizza's going through a hot oven.. Well even my kids wouldn't eat it because "it was nasty" and the'll eat frozen pizza and love it. Something on it was spoiled maybe the cheese I don't know. When I called to complain, I think I talked to the same guy he said he was the manager. He gave me an attitude and said well I haven't had any other complaints. So basically he's calling me a liar, even though I was gonna bring back the whole pizza. So I said what the hell it was a cheap lesson. I'll never go there again. read more
