They also had wines and a few cocktails. The cocktails were made with wine based spirits. A little weird. I tried the Aperol spritz. Next time I'll stick with beer. The restaurant has plenty of seating if you want to stay and eat but they also bag your items really well if you're taking it to go. They keep the food pans covered which helps keep bugs away, but it's also pretty confusing since they use plastic liners on hot food which might cause more microplastics. The only thing I can compare this to is a fresh kitchen, but note only their teas seem to be from a cleaner brand. The soda machine seems to be a basic coke machine. I'll be back for more food, hopefully I get to try more menu items.

Before I even got my food, I had a great interaction with Mercedes at the counter. She was genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and didn't rush the moment, which set a really positive tone right away. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it, and when it came out, it was clear they don't cut corners here. The sandwich was fully loaded from one end to the other, with finely chopped steak that was juicy and well seasoned. The cheese was melted throughout instead of just sitting on top, so every bite had that same balanced flavor. Even with all the toppings, nothing felt overwhelming, and the bread held everything together without falling apart. It also came with fries, which were hot and crispy, and I paired everything with a peach Crush. That combination worked really well, especially with how rich the cheesesteak was. Between the quality of the food and the customer service, this is an easy recommendation. If you are craving a cheesesteak and want something that actually feels worth it, this spot is a solid choice. The ambience was just simple. It gave a mom and pop shop vibe, I love it.

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.

I placed a pickup order and even pre-tipped, but when I walked in there were only a handful of people in the shop. I stood at the pickup counter for about 15 seconds while multiple employees watched me come in, yet no one acknowledged me, greeted me, or asked if I was there for an order. I eventually had to get someone's attention just to receive my pickup. It's a very small store, only a few feet from the entrance to the counter, so it felt strange to be ignored. To make matters worse, my bagel appeared to be underbaked. The inside was pale, dense, and doughy instead of the chewy texture you'd expect from a freshly baked bagel. I understand that mistakes happen, but combined with the lack of basic customer service, it made for a frustrating experience. I really do love Jeff's Bagel Run, which is why this is disappointing to write. Great food can only carry a business so far. Friendly service and consistent quality are what keep customers coming back, and I hope they address both before more loyal customers start looking elsewhere.
