Calling ahead on the phone was easy. The only thing was it was a little difficult to hear the person on the other end, like their phone is super old or something. They also have a drive through window, which is nice not only because it creates a little extra distancing right now, but also because it's just convenient. The employees masks were off and on, not consistently worn at all. There looked to be just 3 or 4 girls working at the time.
Even though we called our order ahead, we ended up having to wait much longer than we were told (about 30 or more minutes). Turns out it was because they accidentally gave our order to the wrong people. Lol. I guess they had to start all the way over with our order, so at least it makes sense that we had to wait so long.
We got the chicken taco pizza (which apparently is a pretty new pizza, which I didn't know when ordering, but cool!) and also the deluxe with no green peppers. I really liked the taco pizza! I especially liked the cheesy layer. It had a flavor that actually reminded me more of an enchilada than a taco... not sure what it was. I don't think everyone else loved it but I thought it was yummy! I can see how if you don't like to stray TOO far from the classics, how you might not enjoy it as much. But if you do enjoy unique twists on things, maybe give it a try. No one thought it was bad necessarily though, just not what they'd pick again I think... except I'd order it again haha. The deluxe was normal in a good way, like a regular veggie and sausage pizza. We got hand-tossed crust for both, which I also thought was good. It wasn't too tough, and I like when it's a bit fluffier like that. read more
