I've eaten at this (Los Osos, CA) Dominos for at least 40 yrs. it's been good and great, but never bad. They need a new oven. The pizza is part burnt, part overcooked and a small portion a little dry but good. come on get it together we deserve more!!! read more

I love this Domino's! Always friendly, fast and the pizza is what I expect it to taste like, very good for cheep eats. Now of course Nichols pizza or Nardonies might taste better because the ingredients may not be pre packaged or frozen, but your gonna pay a lot more and that's to be expected! We have eaten many pizzas from Dominos and loved them but lately it seems as though we get one good one, then a couple not so good. We ordered one last night and it was terrible. The thin crust had the consistency of graham crackers, it was awful and I think they got in a hurry and forgot the tomato sauce. It was an Extravaganza so costly. On several exposures to the offerings of this branch of the Domino's empire I've detected a chemical taste on the crust which hasn't been present on pizzas ordered in San Luis. My guess is they over-apply the 'butter flavored spray' on the crust. The online ordering system is still top notch, but I'll pass on the Los Osos version of this corporate pie. read more

NOT CONTACTLESS DELIVERY!! Ordered my food through the app and when it got here, the girl knocked. I took my time getting to the door because it said they were just going to drop it at my doorstep, but when I opened the door, she was right there, not only not wearing gloves, but also not wearing a mask. WARNING under new ownership and they don't automatically give the daily special. New owner want staff to increase ticket prices and you must ASK for the specials. To add insult to injury they over cooked one of our pizzas. This was the first time we have ever had a problem and staff were very helpful giving us store credit. Staff is great and normally the pizza is good. Hopefully the new owners will read this and go back to the old policy of being value focused over increasing profits. We are in love with the crunchy thin crust, garlic parm white sauce pizza with sausage, mushrooms, & onions! We ordered delivery to our Los Osos home, and received a call back 5 minutes later. The employee on the phone claimed the website didn't charge us properly and that we would have to pay 3 dollars more. I explained that we redeemed 60 points (free pizza) and that it was applied to a Pan for a discount, rather than an actual free pizza. He either wouldn't or couldn't comprehend the situation, so we cancelled our order. We also lost our 60 points and I had to spend 10 minutes filling out a rewards refund form online to try and get the points returned (receipt jpg image included as proof). So I figured if I'm sitting here filing out forms, why not give them a well deserved yelp review as well. We only order from here when the kids and/or their friends are visiting from college, so not a big loss to never order from again. The pizzas that they have received in the past are the typical highly processed cardboard quality you have come to expect from dominoes, but they are fast, cheap, and open later than most in this area. If I ate things like pizza I'd order from Nardonne's La Famiglia Pizzeria or Nichols Pizza-N-Grill and I Highly recommend you avoid this Dominoes location and do the same. read more

The Domino's Pizza in Los Osos is staffed by considerate, friendly people. I have ordered scores of their $7.99 three topping pizza. I love them and, in fact, I will be having one tonight! When a place of business cares about their customers it is evidenced by the staff welcoming the customer and knowing just what he/she wants --- and always delivers what is expected. When I call to order my pizza I just ask for the "Sterling Pizza". While the "Sterling" is not on the menu, it is my actual first name. The happy crew at Domino's know exactly how I like my special pizza and always gets it perfect. In a way it is kind of a joke (The "Sterling" Pizza), but to me it points out that a great organization recognizes little thing like this are always happy to make a "thing" about my order being a "Sterling" pizza. Careful though, unless you like pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms with XXX sauce and crispy, do not ask for a "Sterling" pizza because if you do this is exactly what you will get; and with a smile. read more

Yeah I know it's just a Dominoes but we really like their pizza. They don't skimp on the toppings, and we have never gotten an order that was incorrect even when getting a pizza that has different toppings on each half. They deliver within 25 minutes of ordering, the pizza is always piping hot and delicious, lots of fresh yummy toppings and really good crispy on the outside/fluffy in the middle crust. Never gotten a burnt or soggy crusted pizza. The delivery guys are always super nice, make sure to tip them! They deserve it. read more

I love this domino's. Their quality is always good and delivery fast. Their online tracker software needs some work. according to their online tracker... I received my order while it was still in the oven baking. [20 min after ordering] They must have a time machine for an oven. Pizza was Great... the best in town. Just tried to place an order on the phone. First and last time we will ever attempt to order from them. Can't say ordered because we never got that far. The guy on the phone was so rude to my wife when she asked for her total before he ran our card that she hung up with out completing the order. Sad (4 them) because we live 2 blocks away and love pizza. Luckily for everyone there are several other pizza restaurants in Los Osos/Baywood. A day later we have $300 in charges to a travel agency and have to spend a day at the bank cancelling the card and explaining the charges. This business was the only one we used this card for.
