Was a bit difficult placing an order via phone, they had the TV blasting the background at the restaurant. But everything was ready when we picked it up, the total for one large pepperoni pizza, a medium cheesesteak, and a medium Italian Hoagie came to just over $30. Brought the food home, everything was decent. Pizza was NY style, we all liked it. My wife is very particular about her cheesesteaks, but she thought this one was pretty good, very tasty. We also wolfed down the Italian Hoagie. All in all, Red Star II gets the nod of approval from us, we'll be return customers. I want to try the Chicken Parm next time.

The gentleman behind the counter brought out our pizza in a boxes as well as a couple of plates. He also brought out over all of the spices. We opened up the box and the pizza looked great. The crust is exactly how I like it. Light and fluffy yet crispy and chewy. The sauce could have been a little bit sweeter but once she added some grated Parmesan cheese to it it did add a little sweetness. The pizza was super hot when we got it. Once it cooled down a little bit you could kind of taste the flavors a little bit better. Overall, very good pie. Would definitely get again.

The loaf was fresh, mildly crunchy and had a good mild yeasty flavor. The Eggplant had been sautéed in a frying pan with extra virgin olive oil before being finished in the pizza oven to melt the cheese and seal the final product. It was a good sandwich, even if not the lunch of the gods. Service was friendly, if a little jumpy. Only four booths for eating in. Same ownership for 23 years. I guess they have seen the hood change during that time. How many holdups before the sign went up? No doubt, one was enough.

The pizza slices are a bit oily sometimes, but I don't mind. Their wings are breaded, one of a few places that does it that way and I love it. Their fried Oreos are delicious and the burgers are decent as well. They have some of the cheapest prices in town. It is a small establishment with only four booths, that are usually empty since locals don't dine in.
