Came in hungry and left very happy (and very full). I ordered the small brisket Frito pie with…read morepickled onions, jalapeños, and a side of cherry cobbler. The brisket was tender, smoky, and ridiculously flavorful--the kind of BBQ that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate it. The Fritos gave it that salty crunch, and the onions/pickles cut through the richness perfectly. The cherry cobbler was gooey, sweet, and a great finish to the meal. Now, the only reason this isn't a 5-star review: the drinks. $3 for a canned soda is a little ridiculous. It feels lazy and overpriced compared to how much love clearly goes into the food. Food = 5 stars. Drink situation = 1 star. Overall = 4 stars. Bottom line: I'd definitely come back for the BBQ (and probably just sneak in my own drink next time).
