He was super knowledgeable about the menu (we found out he is also a cook there - what a great combination!) and very attentive and just sweet. We all ordered very different things and everyone was happy with their food. I just got chicken wings as I follow a low carb diet and was happy to find they weren't breaded. I will see about 8 wings and a soda water cost me almost $30 so I won't be back any time soon but the wings were baked perfectly and the hot sauce was truly a medium!

So... This is a bizarre review…read more.. The food, I have to say, was pretty good. Solid pub fare. The most enjoyable hot wings I've had at a pub in years. Nachos that were cheesy and loaded with toppings. Weird toppings maybe, and a very strange tasting salsa, but not bad... The ambiance on a Monday night is a little meh. Only about 6 tables seated in quite a large, voluminous space, made it feel a little vacuous. Maybe if they turned their lights down a bit the vibe might be a bit nicer. They sure like their decorative lights here.... The server was very nice. Pleasant, but could have come around to check on things a couple times more, especially since it was so quiet. Now, for the weird part... Toward the end of my nachos I lost my appetite when I saw a mouse scurrying on the floor. It was very daring and was exploring under tables right up to me. I notified my server and she said "oh we know, we try to catch them but it's difficult. I think we caught one a couple days ago. Yesterday I saw one run up the stairs. I'm sorry you had to see that. Would you like a box for your nachos?" Um, no thanks! I finished my drink while watching this mouse wander around a few more times, and ANOTHER mouse come out from the opposite side of the room. and decided it was time to leave. There was no other response from my server about this - I just paid my bill and left. I get that this is a port town close to water, but it seems like these folks probably need to get a bit more serious about pest control.

While I do like the pizza taste from this franchise, toppings are getting thinly put on. Also,…read morebeware that if you order online, you will get an email confirming that you ordered, unfortunately, I had not received one, this after waiting for an hour and not receiving a pizza. The website does pop-up a window saying your order has been placed and it is a 40min wait. This is not the case. It does not say a confirmation email will be sent. I called their customer service to ask the status of my pizza, of course none had been ordered to my chagrin, so I advised them that there was no email sent and how was I to know there would be one, especially after there was a pop-up telling me the order was completed. The customer service was not a customer service, nor would they admit any wrong doing. DON'T USE THE WEBSITE!! I'll use another pizza service, I did not like the attitude.

Since Panago has been around forever and has numerous locations I have had it at least a few times…read morefrom different places. My experience this time was a disappointment as my gluten free veggie with salami was not made to the standard expected. It wasn't cooked enough. Understandably, the gluten free crust is likely frozen and not hand tossed but it should have been reheated properly. There were no mushrooms on the pizza despite being indicated on the list of toppings. The rest of the veggies were scarce (in some cases only one pineapple tidbit or tomato chunk per slice) and the onions/peppers were not heated long enough, a consequence of not reheating the crust enough. The cheese was a pathetic smattering, barely any with almost none on the corner pieces (their gluten free crusts are square). Considering your only gluten free option is a medium at a $4 additional cost, paying $25 for a mediocre pizza was not money well spent. The rest of the family was satisfied with other the pizzas ordered: regular crust New York deli and deluxe, both had waaay more cheese and proper toppings. Not sure how they went so wrong with the gluten free pizza.
